    Gotta admit I’m not the biggest fan of blocking the whole body and polish them by adding more keyframes, I love instant results and this method is for me.

    It's a lot easier (and logical) to focus your movements/poses based around the fact that the human body movements have counter balances naturally. So, keying the extremes 1st then the teens for the arcs would greatly smooth out the movements. You just gotta keep in mind that the hips rotate/pivot in counter direction of the legs movements, which in 5urn means the spine curves/twist in counter movements to it (hip). A lot of those movements are subtle at the source, but amplify quite a bit as the spine is affected. You can see this in footage of humans moving in x-rayed recordings. If you add drivers into a rig that counter balance between hips, spine, and shoulders, you can minimize your keyframe guessing.

    thanks its very helpful, i just dont understand how you can bake the animation and then change the poses.. changing the poses will change the animation drastically so its going to cause a lot of reanimating right?
    and also how can you show the director to get approval if the poses are not good enough?

      Hey, how's it going? You don’t necessarily need to drastically change the poses. What I’m doing is more about polishing and pushing the line of action of the existing poses, and I use animation layers for that. Whether the animation is baked or not doesn’t matter much since I’m adjusting the poses in a separate animation layer.
      You can absolutely show this to the director, even if the poses aren’t perfect. The goal at that stage is to convey the timing and energy of the shot, which is often enough for gameplay or body mechanics. However, for acting or highly stylized performances, it might require a bit more refinement before presenting

      @stefan_iverson I get it 👍
      Thank you for the answer, the pose to pose method is very hard for me so im gonna try layered for a while hopping to restore some of the motivation i lost
