- WHAT IF EMILY THE CORPSE BRIDE HAD A MONSTROUS VENGEFUL FORM?
In this spooky alternate universe song the pain and heartbreak Emily endured transformed her into a monstrous zombified creature hellbent on revenge. Victor and Barkis didn’t take care of her heart, they ripped it into pieces and did as they pleased with it. None of them ever had the intention of marrying her out of love. The phrase ‘eat your heart out’ is often linked to jealousy, grief and anger. The title of my song Eat His Heart Out represents Emily wanting to make Victor and Barkis feel everything she had been feeling from what they put her through. They do not feel betrayed or hurt and therefore they have no reason to want to eat their hearts out so she will do it for them in the most painful way. This title is not just a metaphor and should also be taken literally as she is at a point where she wants to take their hearts away as they had taken hers. Maybe by doing this the Corpse Bride will finally fill the void in her chest...🧟♀️🖤

could you maybe do a supernatural AU where Sam and Dean both turn on their father John for everything he did to them growing up (or both of their parents because Mary wasn't the best either) and they end up making a deal with either Chuck or Crowley and getting help from all of their friends to get back at John
This version of Emily is the even scarier and sadder version of herself, while her revenge is justified to the gold digger murder Barkis, but Victor and Victoria demine was the result of playing with women score and finding out the consequence of breaking her last bit of humanity.

I mean he did love Victoria also he promised Emely to marry her at the end but I guess he chose Victoria even though he was already about to drink from the goblet.
I mean in this version he committed adultery. And since the killer guy was killed by Emily, Victoria was never engaged to him either which meant victor didn’t have the thought that Victoria would marry another. Plus Victoria wearing a wedding dress to another woman’s wedding and victor knowing what happened to Emily and running away at the last second after bringing everyone upstairs and making a huge deal about wanting to marry her. This makes victor look like a two timing sleaze who used another woman to pass time and Victoria as a wedding measure who ruined another woman’s day.

I shipped both Victor/Emily and Victor/Victoria watching the movie, but let’s be real: the choice was Emily realizing she’d already f*cked up her chance at love, or Victor *dying* just to be with her. So, no, fam, I didn’t mind that he ended up with his actual fiancée and Emily had some growth.

You know the whole film of Corpse Bride could have been avoided if Victor just explained he was rehearsing his wedding vows because he was getting married to another girl and he for Emily's finger was a tree branch the whole film could have been avoided if he just communicated

He was very confused and scared. Anyone would be if had been kidnapped by a corpse and taken to the world of the dead. Maybe he didn't believe it was possible to reason with a corpse, especially one that was acting insane the entire time.
@@bellaswanjones671 a dead woman just rose from the grave, dragged him to the underworld, had a song sung about how she died, said THEY were married and refused to let him leave.
And she gave him his dead dog as a gift, which is kinda sweet but also a bit creepy.
I don’t think she would’ve taken “hey this was an accident, I already have a fiancé I didn’t mean to propose to you” very well.

@@ryanscarberry9415 While Victor did do wrong by stringing her along and lying to her. He doesn’t deserve to die. He’s not an evil person. He was a dude in a difficult situation. He was with Victoria first bc of the marriage arrangement. He only summoned Emily due to practicing vows and happening upon her corpse that looked like a stick. He definitely could’ve been more honest upfront and explained the situation. He doesn’t deserve to die for that.

I like that Victoria is left alive at the end (it could be the song ending before Emily gets to her but I chose to believe otherwise). Her having to live with the knowledge of having watched her fiance get his heart ripped out and devoured by a vengeful revenant and spending the rest of her life wondering when it will finally come for her.
Or an even darker idea, her being so scared of Emily coming for her that she starts courting men and pretending to marry them so she can feed them to Emily at the altar. Making her an even darker more twisted version of Barkis.
That should be the sequel ! Maybe remains of the day is used as base ? Except it’s what remains of the day or something like that.

I feel like this is another view of the history, where the trauma emily suffered made her see victor as the same as his old fiancee, so its all kinda in her traumatized and sad view.

I don't think she was jealous because first of all he married her, then killed her. How do you say you want to marry someone and then kill them? Victor was also caught kissing another woman but wanted to marry someone else, like what?? So it's not that she's jealous, but it's not okay for any man to do that to someone.

I like the fact her dad was a decent man. he clearly loved his daughter and wanted her to have at least some liberties, but he clearly knew that women at that time didn't have many oppetunies other than proper wife or common prostitute. He genuinely wanted his daughter to marry well and be happy in said marriage, but he wasn't stupid enough to fall for barkiss's red hot lies. He probably felt heartbroken knowing despite his best efforts, he still lost his daughter to barkiss's greed and lies.
Did she really think a relationship between them would work? One was a bastard who only wanted her money, and the other guy was pressured to do the vow when he actually had someone who was alive that loved him.
I do like the imagery and such but I don’t feel bad for the corpse bride since she should’ve listened the first time.

Oh "corpse bride" my most favorite movie 😍. I feel so sorry for Emily. She's so sweet and gorgeous, she doesn't deserve such a fate, but I respect her decision to give Victor to Victoria at the end of the movie 😢

Oh dear, mercy me! Seeing Emily become a monstrous being bent on revenge by eating black hearts, it's truly horrifying and heart wrenching! This song makes the Corpse Bride movie hit much deeper. This ending is so much scarier and more terrifying than the ending from the movie. Grief, jealousy, anger, hatred, these emotions can warp even the purest and innocent beings into something dark, twisted, and villainous. In a word... *evil.*

This part of Emily is sadder because in the movie when victor is about to drink the poison. Emily sees victoria and she realizes that she can't make victor be hers because She would be stealing victoria's happiness. And she thinks it's too late for her to be a bride so she gives Victor back to Victoria. But in this story Victor was gonna drink the poison and be with emily like he promised. And she was waiting for him to and she wasn't playing on stopping him. But when he saw a victoria sneaking around the corner he dropped the poison and left to be with her. Emily has ever reason to be mad I mean Victor promised to marry Emily and he just left her. Even in the movie even if he tried keeping his promise Emily didn't get the Happily ever after she deserved.

This made me remember a story that was the main idea for the movie version of corpse bride it’s basically the same until the ring scene because the original victor was a bit drunk and jokingly put his ring on a what he thought was a tree branch and said his vows after his buddies dared him to before Emile came out of the ground and said she did and tired to kiss him at which long book victor ran to ask the pastor for protection only for Emily to appear behind him and a say that Vitor said the vows and by rule she was owed one night of bliss and after talking about it the priest said there were serval rules that made the proposal invalid with the main one being Victor was joking at which point Emily let out a loud screeching like a banshee and vanished.

They shouldve but the real End in the Movie was perfect for Emily. Because she got her revenge on that first husband and even if victor didnt die for her, she at least had some spark with a men, where the chemistry was real. She flew away finished her unfinished business and thats the best she could get. If Victor and her ended up togehter he maybe would always wonder "what wouldve happen if..." Plus the first husband wouldve still contuine his evilness.

What a masterpiece. I love this song milkymelodies!!
Honestly seems more in line with some of the original tales that inspired it, except the corpse bride in one of them allowed him to be married to both herself and his living bride, just so long as he visited from time to time, but there also came a time when he returned to her and found she had moved on, I think she sorta became a guardian to his kids, too? I don't fully recall. And the other one, her soul passed on out of anger after being told that her being dead already disqualified the marriage.
But it also reminds me of A Little Piece Of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold. The song was already similar to Corpse Bride, but I'd imagine if it were this way, Victor, like the guy in the song, would be begging for Emily's forgiveness. But this Emily had her heart broken too many times, so she wouldn't just forgive him and marry him right after.

I like this song. I get her wanting revenge on Barkis, but her accusations against Victor was not quite how I remember it. She kidnapped him and she’s mad at him? Though you making it so he decided on his own not to drink that poison instead of Emily stopping him did have this make more sense.
