I appreciate this because I suffer from PCOS as well and it's extremely hard to Keep weight off because of it. I'm at the biggest I've ever been and so uncomfortable 😣. I've been scared of getting the surgery because I've never been cut on but for the sake of my life now, I think I'm ready
So do I , been diagnosed with PCOS for 2 years now it’s been a living nightmare . I’m getting the sleeve done in February can’t wait to see how much I lose . Don’t be afraid to do it many have done it . They do not regret it plus I heard it’s not too bad it’s laparoscopic Good luck !!
considering having this procedure. I weigh 418 and my BMI is 65 or something like that. I have tried all the diets and having trainers but I struggle to be consistent and end up gaining the weight back plus some. I do not have any health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure/cholesterol, etc at this time.
So I am going to the first meeting to have surgery in January. I have PCOS so I loose weight and gain it right back. I am at 265 lbs now and I just want to loose it, keep it off and be healthy for my daughter. I noticed tonight- I was dancing with her and I lost my breath so quickly- that's never happened before. I have high blood pressure, diabetes and I am just a ticking time bomb. I am so nervous about having surgery but I will either die from being obese or worse case, die trying to loose the weight. I hate how people think that if you are obese then all you do is eat and lie around. I am pretty active and I have a 2 year old. Plus I have been told by my doctors that I don't eat enough and that has slowed my metabolism- something I will have to work on.
I have Pcos too. Looking into getting the surgery. Weight loss is hard. I lost 30 pounds. Gain 5 loose 10 gain another 15. Its crazy. And beyond stressful
I will be having surgery in February. I have to have an upper GI with Barium and then also an endoscope. I have my 2nd apt with the surgeon in two weeks. My dr has been so awesome so far. I have diabetes and have been on a wait list to get into endocrinology. My apt was Nov 15th. He got me in for Oct 7th! I have a friend that is helping me out a lot too as she had the sleeve.
Lauren Moore...after surgery I was the same size for a while (truth be told, my clothes were probably a little too tight before the surgery lol) . I was on a special post-op diet and recovering so natural I lost some weight, but not enough to change my size. As soon as I returned to my normal routine, and increased my physical activity the weight literally started melting off. Are you thinking of having the surgery?
+Elizabeth Pierre ou se haitian eske mwen pa pale ak ou about the surgery please more, im interested but you know been haitian and all parents are concerned
+Debbie _Lareine ofcourse you can. I definitely understand cultural reservations about the surgery. Even though our friends and family over exaggerate, it's mostly fear of the unknown. What are some of their concerns?

Sorry, I speak too softly sometimes. I'd be happy to tell you more about my experience if you'd like. When is your surgery?
I can barely hear what you're saying, but how is your hair doing? Any loss?
I really wanna do that but I'm so scared of it's pain

Why are you whispering? Ugh!
She is not whispering @mrstrish2600. Elizabeth just didn't have a working mic at the time. We apologize if you are having trouble hearing her.
