The really hit a grandslam, with their tweaking on the 2023 QX-60, adding stuff, going to a better transmission. It does have the best ride of any of the midsize SUVs, and might be the biggest midsize that I have been in.

The ticking of that engine would drive me crazy

Still drive a 2013 Pathfinder. VQ35 IDI. No oil consumption after 100,000 miles. New CVT valve body in 2015. Change the fluid every 36,000 miles. New ZF 9 speed in this version is nice.

Oh and the old CVT it had was a pretend 7 speed lol it did redundant shifts like a regular auto but it was a CVT
Glad they put the 9 speed

I’ve had a soft spot for Infinity interior and exteriors, but the old CVTs were a showstopper.
Although this v6 is a bit chatty, likely due to Direct Injection, I’d give them another look now that Toyota/Lexus have caved to the government and gone to noisy 4 cylinder turbo power trains.

Had one from the previous gen. That VQ35 engine was so strong! It had old tech but it was a great ride regardless and we didn’t care lol

Love the gauge cluster in the infinity.

Why does the dash screen get so bright? The black levels were grey and then I see it change to black again

Does it have the notorious Nissan CVT or have they (finally) woke up? My sister was all set to buy a Rouge the other day but fortunately I nixed that decision in favor of a CX-9.

This and the new Pathfinder switched to a real 9 speed transmission. They need to get rid of the CVT across the lineup!

I love the interior! Infiniti did a great job with this model. The only downside is the price. I hope Nissan & Infiniti ditch the CVT for all the other models!

    Tim, how's the duramax running?

Is this smaller then the pathfinder? Looks like it

    • @rickmarshall808

According to the specs, the pathfinder is 1.2 inch taller, the QX-60 is .5 inch longer and .1 inch wider.

Nissan makes it so when you put the E-Brake on when the car is off, when you start it, the lights will stay off while the car runs. May work for the QX60…

Well duh! Lexus, Infinity & Acura all compete against each other. I’ve had an Acura & now own a Lexus. I would take this smooth V-6 Infinity all day long over the new Lexus RX with their confounded, buzzy 4 cylinder turbo engine!
