I would appreciate it if you came out with a feature that can tell when I'm looking at a camera and switch between cameras even when using one microphone.

Would have been great if it was available for Windows too but I don't understand why so many people don't do it for windows.

Can I upload two multicam and edit that way? Podcast content same thing. Or do you have to record via detail?

We are working on multicam import, so you can import two (or more) recordings intro Detail (not recorded with Detail) :)

@@DetailVideo excellent, as soon as you have that I’ll use it daily as that would be perfect. Basically for podcast to use the ai for auto cam switches for the audio. I’ll keep my eyes open. Thank you for your response. Much appreciated

@@GavinRamonShow Hello Gavin, so if I'm understanding your comments correctly, is the "Detail" Mac Desktop version able to auto switch to different camera angles via the audio it picks up from either of the talent talking on a podcast? only asking as that is exactly I'm looking to do. Any advise thanks..

ok so here is the setup I've seen others used and I'm wondering how they are able to connect their camera via USB c to an USB Hub and into their laptops when there are at least 15 feet away. So I guess my Q: is . How long and what type of USB-c cable one needs to be able to connect a camera such as a7iv to a laptop and be able to use your software for a podcast, where it can auto switch just by picking up the voice of the person talking on the Mic. thanks. lastly do you intent to sell a one time purchase fee instead of a yearly or monthly?

If you use proper USB-C cables (eg the ones used for tethering a DSLR to Lightroom from Tether Tools) you can go put to 15 ft / 4.6 meters! They aren't cheap though! tethertools.com/product/tetherpro-usb-c-to-usb-c/

@@DetailVideo ok next question: the Mac Desktop verison does the auto switching via picking up the audio voice of the talent talking on a podcast, correct? If so, how do you suggest I set up my podcast using 2 full frame cameras on each side and the 3rd middle shot via my iPhone 15 pro for the wide angle shot. I currently use the Atem Mini pro ISO, so I'm not sure if your software can pick up the audio from the multicam shots? And or if it can do it on the fly. I guess my main questions is How would the plug in of the gear look like given the cameras will be at least 7 feet away from the talent given the type of lenses I'll be using. and Yes I'll be sticking to HDMI cables for the 2 cameras and USB-C for the iPhone. Thanks in advance! if this works I would love to showcase your desktop software on another one of my YT channel. (both in English and Spanish). thanks

Hi, I'm after something rather specific... My scenario is a single shot podcast, with two speakers, shot in horizontal format. Is it possible using detail, to have it auto edit from speaker to speaker in a reframed vertical format? I basically want to be able to take the single horizontal shot and repurpose them into reels/shorts veritcal format. Thank you.

Unfortunately not possible yet, but a great idea and something we might add in the future.
