What's going on Initiate, Bird here and in this video I am presenting to you a good comparison of the Gatling Laser and Ultacite Gatling Laser in Fallout 76. Both of these weapons are absolutely amazing heavy guns but with video I try to find out which is better between the two. These are both Anti Armor Faster Fire rate Gatling lasers with the exact same mods. I also give you my end game full health heavy gunner build I used ti demonstrate the weapons. I mean you shoudl always go for prime mod on your weapon if u have resources to craft ammo, I think all my weapon has it, you are losing like almost 15+ or even sometimes 20+ of raw damage. It could just be prefrences but Ultracite is the way for end game.

When I first started playing, barely lvl 50 I couldn't get past assaultrons and then I picked up a vampires ultra gat laser gun and was able to shred em easy

You can keep it burst firing fast with proper click timing. Also with bloodied version of this gun with bloodied build with 600+ap pool this thing is a vats monster and my daily driver for a long time.

Has anyone else noticed the ammo dropping to 500 from 1000 when you start firing?

I have, sometimes it would be normal then out of nowhere it would drop. Honestly I thought the 999 was the bug but aye maybe someone knows better then me🤣

@@BOSBird Its supposed to be 1000 if you have the double fusion core duration perk in use for PA cores was my understanding

Same thing but does the perk even work? I mean it for sure doesn't extend clip size up to 1k but does it reduce your cores drain?

Like in fallout 4 where you are still strict to 500 shot in one clip, but one core can be reloaded multiple times

yeah it does that. the cores contain 1000 rounds if you use power user perk but the weapon reloads at 500. you can just reload the same core mutiple times

The fast shots are because it’s a charge in barrels not because of some glitch

but does it make a lot of difference to have barrels loaded with cadence as a perk? I have the gatling laser with the cadence but equally in terms of speed they still don't convince me ...

the ammo for ultracite laser is more expensive, that his to be considered.

@@AnxiousAbstractifier there are two Gatling laser weapons. One is the ultracite. They can both be primed. Hope this clears things up for you.

Mine sucks full load 999 first shot bumps to 500 ammo so dont use em

Well they just had to buff the ultracite laser gun to make it even the equal of the normal non ultracite that all the super mutants drop constantly so nah its not pointless or obvious unfortunately
