I do not recommend crafting Ultracite fusion cores! SAVE YOUR PRECIOUS RESOURCES. You will be awarded 2 or 4 cores at the completion of every Daily Ops! Use any weapon you want during the event but make sure you equip your Ultracite Gatling Laser before you kill the final boss. Just farm a few times and you'll have more cores than you know what to do with. Enjoy
Tried doing this in uplink: Got 2 50% charged U. Fusion cores, 2 75%, 4 50%… At this rate; I’ll sink the 300 perk points for ammo Factory, spend 100 caps for a Violet flux on a trading forum…use two nearly empty cores that I’ve gotten 1900ish shots out of and a piece of Ultracite to craft 8-9 full Ultracite Cores and stick to Turtle’s cannon ball farming or my straight fuel farming with my VE Flamer.
Ok look. With my perks I can make 7 U.cores for every 2 cores. First, cores are easy to find and second I added a few people to my friends list that sell flux at 100 caps each.
Or just take over nuclear plant, build nuclear generator or whatever its called instead of doing the whole power plant quest & reap the cores!! Fastest & easiest by far.
Angry Turtle - Free Ammo Trick - If you use standard cores (loosing the 25% damage bonus) you can reload before the core is completely empty. You can then take the depleted cores and charge them in your Power Armor using the Electric Absorption legendary perk card. It takes a little bit of juggling, but gives you FREE AMMO for the daily grind.
My level 56 ahh with 33 fusion cores and 100 lbs in my inventory... Are... Are fusion cores supposed to be rare? Cause I hate how many I'm finding already
charging barrel is only worth it if you have faster fire rate effect to get enough shots off to properly offset the DPS loss. but if you do, it hits like a truck with enough ammo to last you months between crafting.
agreed 25 faster rof is a must for ultracite and normal GL - I've got mine set up with prime receiver , stabilized charging barrels , reflex site and beam focuser , couple that with 25 faster rof and any perk and you'll have a certified queen killer.
Ditto. Got a BFFR90 RW U. Gat. Laser with the charging barrels for out n about day to day play and an AAFFR90 primed one for the Scorchbeast Queen. Love the harder-hitting slower but not too slow rof.. WAY more ammo efficient and WAAAAY less missed shots.
@@HAPPYHERBS1 Once you’re fully specced for it, it’s great. My Primed AA UGL hits the Queen in the head for 47-67ish a shot normally and spikes up to 120ish a shot when all the buff/debuffs are applied. Take it even further if you want by using chems/bobbles/mags. 👍🏻
Angry Turtle: I suppose the difference you feel about the spinning time from the others is that currently the Gatling Laser (or Ultracite version) start spinning by just keeping the trigger pressed from when it empties the core, reload, and start spinning and shooting again. Gatling plasma for instance forces you to set the trigger off, wait stop spinning, hit reload and only after reload is done you can press the trigger again for spinning up.
Love my vampire ultracite Gatling laser, never leave camp without it. And full battery included is a must, having a 100 fusion cores without it isnt fun
@@Dark-Pikachu1 I like both but the gatling laser makes you invincible. Nothing in the game can hit you as fast as you can heal yourself with a vamps faster fire rate. Plus the 999 rounds in the mag is almost 4 times more than the gatling plasma so you don't have to reload much at all. It's possible to die with the gatling plasma (usually because you're reloading and the reload is very long). Rare, but it can happen. The gatling plasma obviously hits way harder though so whatever is attacking you is normally dead before it can kill you anyway.
Love this gun. The vampire version with Faster fire is a tank builder. I have been collecting them. Wanted one of each first star….. but that eats up a lot of storage. AA, furious, and vamp are by far my favorite.
everytime i try to carry more than 1 type of weapon. the game gets confused on which weapon is which. ill have them both saved to the quick reel , but the game mixes them up. so it says im using the vampire's, but im actually using the anti-armor.
I use my AA ultracite Gatling laser for scorched earth events or when facing lots of scorched. It’s good for other enemies as well besides the scorched. I really don’t need to worry about ammo as I have plenty. With all the right perks I can craft 9 at a time and with super duper, 18 at a time when it triggers. The only thing I dislike is that spent ultracite fusions cores stay in my inventory. They show like they have 15 or 5 percent. After every use, I have to manually drop the spent cores. Also, sometimes fully charged cores only fire a few times before going to 0. When this happens my character begins reloading. When I check my inventory, I see that the core still has a decent amount of charge left. Sometimes up to 90%. Still fun to use.
Funny enough i used the ultrazite gatling laser in last days and had the same feeling, i think its just a splitsecond faster but this feels so good if youre used to the gatling plasma. Also i didnt know the perkcard poweruser affects fusioncores used in the weapon too, thats perfect for my char. Thx
Not the strongest heavy weapon but my vampire FFR UGL basically makes me immortal even at nerdrage health. Plus its the cheapest ammo since fusion cores come free from workshops and power user makes 1 fusion core last double. It seems you've read my mind, turtle. I haven't been playing a lot and I visited a player store in the end of meat week to try and get the pepper shaker plan (i got it one day after in the meat week event) and this player was selling the ultracite gatling laser plan for 2999 caps. I bought it right away and then modded my anti armor ultracite gatling laser the same way you do and although its a crippling second star it already shredds everything with ease.
I think I picked up my Ultracite Laser Gatling gun off a mission or enemy not sure where I got it but I know I didn't craft it since after 1,000hrs in game I have not crafted one gun or one set of armor. Mine is a Vampire so it works perfect because I use a full health build.
I have a vampire, faster fire rate, damage resistance while aiming ultracite Gatling laser and it’s pretty fun. Lower damage than anti armor or bloody but I can use it against the armor piercing enemies on daily ops and not die
Highly recommend just serving hopping over and over until a nuke event is spawned to get the Flux to craft the ammo then if you need a hazmat or something wait until a radiation rumble event spawns there is hazmat suits on a table if your a beginner

This is the first decent weapon plan i bought from a player. I payed 300 caps for it when i started playing fallout 76. Really struggled to get enough ultracite to craft it
Just yesterday I got my first gatling laser off of a sentry bot. I was pretty happy because of my love for energy weapons and normal laser weapons just simply not cutting it. After looking at it for a while, I ended up in the mire searching for fog crawlers to get materials for the charged barrel. (I had no idea how it would work.) As I'm wandering around I stumble into a fissure with a legendary scorch beast. The fight went much better than expected now that I had a heavy weapon to deal with it, and low and behold it drops a legendary ultracite gattling laser. I had no idea such a thing existed so I was pretty freaking happy about getting it.
I had a vampire one before i hit lvl 50 and it was the only thing i had that would wipe out assaultrons quickly. Think i might revisit that gun. It really did shred
great video thank you! what would be good if you have time is an evaluation of the various legendary prefixes as they apply to the ultracite gattling laser - i did not get an anti armor or a vampire yet after many attempts but what i did find was that 'mutant' is even better than '2 shot' (i guess unless you have few mutations)
Great weapon, I recently bought one from a player vendor, however the ammo is buggy. For some reason I would have a bunch of ultracite cores in my inventory near depleted after using the gun for a bit. I don’t know how to fix. I craft nine ultracite cores thinking I’m good to go for a while, next thing you know I check my ammo and the cores I haven’t used yet are drained.
Hey Turtle, I've got an bloodied legacy version of this gun and I love it! I agree on the spin up, it doesn't take as long to spin up as say the mini gun. I'm visiting the UK and Poland for work this week and next week. Not sure where you're living these days but I'd love to catch up and buy you a beer and talk fo76 if you've got some time. If you've got time reply and we'll swap contact information.
I manually reload with normal cores so I can go spend 5-10 minutes recharging 50-60 of them in Watoga. Usually keep 2-3 of the same gun I'm using in case one breaks in a fight. Having 3 Grand Finale, Boomsticks, Overkill, flamers and Plasma Casters is perfectly normal... I just keep 2 of the weapons I'm using as my main at the moment on my bar.
that is one thing i hate about gouls is how unnaturally fast they run some times they even teleport to a target player making it impossible hit them in mealy weapons
Honestly, I have so many if these drop for me. I don't know why. It seems weapons with certain legendary effects I use a lot drop more for me. For instance, I use a few explosive weapons...seems I get one every 10 drops. The ultracite gatling lazers I kept were what everyone would. AA, vampires etc., but my 2 shot faster fire rate is sick. It is almost comparable to the legacies I have held on to.
I got an ultricite gatling lazer 3 star as a reward for scorched earth I believe Edit: I wanted to get in game to give the exact legendary effects, and mind you, I have never seen another ultricite gatling as a reward so they are super rare. I luckily got the anti armor ultricite gatling laser with 15% faster reload and +50% vats hit chance along with ignoring 50% of target armor. This and the gatling plasma are my 2 favorite
Just got one and was wondering why it was blue and red instead of green, with Juggernaut, +25 Fire Rate, and +40 damage increase while aiming, then add the fire rate glitch where you pump the trigger and this thing shreds through enemies like theyre butter, add that with the fusion core recharger and the right perks and its Awesome
I have the Ultracite Gatling Laser plan on me. How much do these things go for? I found a Reddit post saying they're rare enough to be "Trade Only" but that was from 2 years ago. What can you trade something like this for/sell it for?
ok so theres a huge downside to this weapon and its deals with the ammo. after the gun auto reloads, a core remains in your inventory. it has no power left but for some reason the old core isnt destroyed. you will have to regularly go into your ammo and drop those empty cores to free up carry weight.
I love my gat lasers, my only problem with them is the game forcing a reload. I’ll have 400 left from my core and the game will randomly spit out my core and reload a brand new one. Making my ammo tab 50 lines long of half consumed cores. Anyone know why this happens?
Can you make a Perks fitting loadout. Now that we can have multiple loadouts( for weapons crafting / armor repair/ weapons/ can the best be all put in one loadout, or not? Thanks
the only reason i did not go with a prime reciver, is i cannot use the fusion charger to charge ultracite cores, but i can use it to charge up regular. so i have infinite ammo.
You did not showcased the charging barrel. It's pure awesomeness. If new player see this video will be mislead charging barrel is trash, which is not correct. Also the most important thing you forgot: With faster fire rate second 🌟 the speed of charging barrel scales from to 30 to 60 which is effectively DOUBLE the dps, making the charging barrel extremely potent. It's my 24/7 daily runner. 18000 shoots from 1 flux with SD proc? I never grind for ammo. Also the damage boost of charging barrel is quite decent per shot scale. I can hit super mutant for 400 hip fire in the head. Simply the spin up time is the downside, not the DPS. Best daily runner ever.
I have a Prime- Zelots- 25% faster fire, that I use on the queen as a full health build and it dose very good dps 30 per shot on the head so its up to 30,000 damage per core.
Though I’d give it a go, crafted it up and the first roll I get is a bloodied, useless for my build as I’m a high health build so anti amor would be the one I need. I’m sure the bloodied it’s worth a pretty penny? Angry turtle can u please make a video about the railway rifle
@@beastbowen4492 the actual plan to craft ultracite Gatling Lazer is a rare drop. The gun itself isn't, I've had many legendary ones drop from events but finally found a plan from a high level player vendor so was able to mass craft and mod to my liking.

Hey Turtle, great video as always. One question, mine does less damage, are you using adrenal reaction in this video?
yes
Spin up time a factor but you gotta adjust play tactics to comp
I manually reload with normal cores so I can go spend 5-10 minutes recharging 50-60 of them in Watoga. Usually keep 2-3 of the same gun I'm using in case one breaks in a fight. Having 3 Grand Finale, Boomsticks, Overkill, flamers and Plasma Casters is perfectly normal... I just keep 2 of the weapons I'm using as my main at the moment on my bar.
FYI: I just got the plan as a quest reward for launching a nuke.
that is one thing i hate about gouls is how unnaturally fast they run some times they even teleport to a target player making it impossible hit them in mealy weapons
I use a bloodied, hitman's, faster reload Ultracite Gatling laser. It's pretty good.
It’s a very good weapon for heavy build, made and ran it on my heavy build but changed to bloodied commando, but I may buy another build slot Dr. T
Also equip Super Duper for Crafting some free Ultracite Lasers for scrapping. And use scrapper.
Which one would be better against bosses, anti armor or bloodied? Both in nerd rage
AA
Honestly, I have so many if these drop for me. I don't know why. It seems weapons with certain legendary effects I use a lot drop more for me. For instance, I use a few explosive weapons...seems I get one every 10 drops. The ultracite gatling lazers I kept were what everyone would. AA, vampires etc., but my 2 shot faster fire rate is sick. It is almost comparable to the legacies I have held on to.
I cant craft it i have a bug telling me i dont have the perks when i do and the rank for it
I got an ultricite gatling lazer 3 star as a reward for scorched earth I believe
Edit: I wanted to get in game to give the exact legendary effects, and mind you, I have never seen another ultricite gatling as a reward so they are super rare. I luckily got the anti armor ultricite gatling laser with 15% faster reload and +50% vats hit chance along with ignoring 50% of target armor. This and the gatling plasma are my 2 favorite
I just bought a bloodied ffr not remember the last * but for 14k caps I think it was great, so this video is just perfect at this time !!!!!
Cheers 🐢
This was really helpful you will be seeing me use it now
Is it a good idea to use this gun and wear a power armor also or is it a bad idea
Bought myself a bloodied one for 2k caps with faster firerate and reload.
What can you trade something like this for/sell it for?
ok so theres a huge downside to this weapon and its deals with the ammo. after the gun auto reloads, a core remains in your inventory. it has no power left but for some reason the old core isnt destroyed. you will have to regularly go into your ammo and drop those empty cores to free up carry weight.
you could craft ultracite cores of nearly empty cores, maybe it also works with these empties…
@@gonozal8_962 no it doesn’t they are just junk then.
@@anoma1y505 ah ok sry
@@gonozal8_962 yeah it’s odd I personally would prefer the normal cores work like this and stay inventory so you could charge them or craft with them
@@gonozal8_962 all i use is ultracite. doesn't matter the type of core ammo, they all leave a empty core in your inventory.
I love my gat lasers, my only problem with them is the game forcing a reload. I’ll have 400 left from my core and the game will randomly spit out my core and reload a brand new one. Making my ammo tab 50 lines long of half consumed cores. Anyone know why this happens?
Hit melee when reload animation starts and continue shoting, unfortunately you can't do anything about overloaded cores.
Is deconstructing a lvl 35 ultracite gatling enough? Or you gotta deconstruct only lvl 45 to get the mods?
lowest possible lvl for scrapping 👍
Can you make a Perks fitting loadout. Now that we can have multiple loadouts( for weapons crafting / armor repair/ weapons/
can the best be all put in one loadout, or not?
Thanks
I thought the power user perk would also increase the ultracite ammo since they are fusion cores
i'm late to this game, thanks for the video, and i wonder is this weapon good with two shot ffr prefix?
yes it is
the only reason i did not go with a prime reciver, is i cannot use the fusion charger to charge ultracite cores, but i can use it to charge up regular. so i have infinite ammo.
Is flamer considered energy weapon? Will the science expert work when crafting?
it's energy weapon although perk do not even work on all energy weapons therefore you just need to check if equipping it reduces cost or not
this weapon excels at almost everything, but pity the blueprint is a bitch to find
Best daily runner ever.
you can try to find the Plans in White Spring, at the Gun Shop with one of the NPC
I have a Prime- Zelots- 25% faster fire, that I use on the queen as a full health build and it dose very good dps 30 per shot on the head so its up to 30,000 damage per core.
I was using the same thing for queen! It was awesome until I replaced it with a two shot 25ffr. If you ever get the chance give that one a try
@@mynameis9416 the two shot looks cool and is great for crippling with one gun army.
Though I’d give it a go, crafted it up and the first roll I get is a bloodied, useless for my build as I’m a high health build so anti amor would be the one I need. I’m sure the bloodied it’s worth a pretty penny? Angry turtle can u please make a video about the railway rifle
this is an incredibly rare weapon, ive only seen like 5 drop in my whole time ive played
Is that as a legendary drop or just the regular gun itself? Just wondering as I had a non legendary drop for me recently.
@@beastbowen4492 i think the non legendary normal ultracite gatling laser is the rarest
@@beastbowen4492 the actual plan to craft ultracite Gatling Lazer is a rare drop. The gun itself isn't, I've had many legendary ones drop from events but finally found a plan from a high level player vendor so was able to mass craft and mod to my liking.
Can you recharge ultracite cores with Electric absorbtion? I chose this weapon entirely for this ammo trick...
I have a B/FFR/90 UGL and it is fairly impressive.
i got the weapon by killing a legendary super mutant, its pretty cool, i moded it on the workbench to be have vampire as legendary (wasted quite a lot of legendary scripts to get what i wanted)
so is anti armor better than two shot? i have both with 25% faster fire rate but cant really choose witch one to use.
as long as you don't need accuracy ts will be better
@@AngryTurtle great! Thank you!
Im buying a good ultracite gatling don't you have one to sell ?
I do every event in the CB that I can - have been playing since beta and still dont have this plan... I saw it once for sale at 25k caps but didnt have the cash... its an Extremely rare drop. I've heard that census violence has a better drop rate than other events for this, but I really dont know if thats true.
I have two of these which were dropped as legendary from events, but can't craft them...
I have a full health build and i dont use vats, what is the God roll for me ?
how do you get so much fire power / damage? and where to get mods? Mine is level 45 with only 35 damage
bloodied build gives me dmg
@@AngryTurtle ahhh okay thanks
4:53 fire rate not DPS(Damage per Second) you means right? edit: i have pepper shaker and is so stable for me no recoil hipfire plus aim shooting really no recoil only death enemies :) edit:2 no power armor-build off course :)
I really love this gun, its nice to see how i can farm mods for this weapon, thanks for this video :)
Will faster fire rate affect the spin Up time making it shorter?🤔
no
I’m so happy I got this drop of this a few days Ago but I only have the burning mod funny part I got the plan a few days later
Does anyone know if the loose beam focuser mod can be bought from robot vendors or found as loose mod out in the world? Or does it need to be learned? It's the only thing I'm missing and I don't know the weapon plan.
I got a Vampire Gatling Laser after hitting lvl 50, and it's impossible to die in daily ops with it
It sound silly a stealth build using a Ultracite Gatling laser. Everyone so fancy with their heavy guns, I dont wanna left behind. Lol😂
Good on you. I'm a heavy gunner build that uses whatever my heart fancies!! You be you! 😀
I have a BFFR one, I really need to get a heavy gunner build going.
Am so glad 2xp scored boarded I think am going Finish season now
If u use the prime receiver use charger barrel.... if use regular core use the normal barrels
Question charging barrels have more damage but do less dps why?im trying a gatling laser build i have a stalker gatling laser
fire slower
@@AngryTurtle ok i understand thanks
I really need to get me one of these on PS4, 234 levels later and thousands of events and haven't been lucky enough to see it drop.
Need a better one. Have a Vampires which is decent, but not great. What I love about the weapon is you can get so much ammo from one ultracite ammo craft. I refuse to use the Beam Focuser, though. I want my green beam.
How do I get my power armour to take the empty cores without needing to exit
i have a two shot ultracite gatling lazer and a anti amor one, wich one am isupposed to chose ???? i'm confused as wich has the best dps :/
aa
@@AngryTurtle wow you answered really fast ! Thanks man, love your vids ! ♥️
I dismantled ultracite getting lazers and saw that I got true long barrel but when I try to modify mine it keeps telling me I don't have any mods for it any advice?
don't forget that ultracite gatling laser and gatling laser are two separate weapons that's usually the reason
Only if energy absorption would recharge fusion core's in your weapon too ☹
question, how does born survivor work if ur below 20% hp for nerd rage? (im new I really dont know)
it triggers whenever your hp moves
@@AngryTurtle it wont use a stim unless u take damage? thats good to know. i thought it would be like the auto stim armor and just use one every time the cool down was up and waste my stims, Thank you for the info!!
I've got the same one. I love it
Yeah I use the power plants for fusion core I only crafted for the achievement
That’s it but about to farm then I sell at my store
Random question but why does my Ultracite gatling laser only get 250 ammo per core
you need over charged cores (crafted with high intelligence) plus perk
@@AngryTurtle Ok thank you Amazing :D always know the answers
Worth trying to get if i got aa25ffr gat plas?
Get both :) trade stuff you dont use
If I use the primed weapon in Daily Ops will I get ultracite fusion cores?
Yes after finishing DO you get 2 or 4 ultracite cores but they are always at 75%... 375 shots without power user
@@Muh-Kuh weird ultra plasma are always slightly overcharged.
@@Muh-Kuh I get 2 to 4 ultracite cores but mine are always a little over charged, not undercharged. Sometimes I roll with a diff weapon throughout the op then switch to my Gatling before the boss dies for the cores.
@@BeKind1Love Yes, you are right. If I use my primed plasma gatling in DO then I get 2 or 4 ultracite plasma cores at 100 or 150%. But ultracite fusion cores are always at 75% as DO rewards. That's what I figured out while playing. Maybe related to a high intelligence stat?!
@@fivenotewonder This is really odd... would be nice to know how it's calculated 🤨 my ultracite fusion cores are indeed always at 75%.
Unlimited ammo for my AAGL..
I've got a regular anti armor GL W prime receiver. I made like 260 UFC's for ammo and needless to say I stuffed as many of them Into my stash as I could. .
It seems like they have been multiplying or something of the sort.. I'm on my like 11th instance at wes tek with 40 cores on me, run out of ammo and reload 784 shots of infinite ammo lol 🤷🤷
İ have one dropped from nuke event today but it deals only 27dps and its consumes normal core can u explain why ?
you need to made build for it and mod it
@@AngryTurtle perk build ?
I have read the plans for ultracite gatling laser, but I don't have the ultracite weapons option showing up in my weapons workbench, any ideas?
maybe it wasn't the plan for the weapon
@@AngryTurtle thanks for replying, the plan was for ultracite Gatling laser, I confirmed it before learning it. And it said it unlocked it on the screen. When I goto craft it, there is no “ultracite weapons” option in the weapon work bench. Throwing knives is the last option to choose. I equipped all three maxed science cards, maxed weapon smith card. Is there anything I’m missing?
@@jeffreyr1261 in that case i have no idea, usually the case is learning weapon mod plan and not the weapon itself but if you confirmed it was the weapon plan i have no clue
@@AngryTurtle thanks anyway, ur videos have been very helpful for me playing Fallout 76
Might be silly question but anti armor would be better than bloodied for low health build?
I say there's not a big difference between Bloodied and Anti-Armor regarding this weapon. I like to use my Vampire ffr version on low as well as on full health.
Only against end game bosses
I ACCIDENTALLY JUST CRAFTED 300 ULTRACITE FUSION CORES. HELP.
