- Brian Barczyk is an American TH-camr and vlogger who makes daily vlogs revolving around animals and reptiles. Brian has loved animals since he was a kid. He opened 'The Reptarium' in Utica, Michicgan six years ago so he could share that love with others. He now plans to build a brand new public aquarium called the Legasea aquarium!

As a young girl, I had a red tail boa. Took him everywhere. Literally. My husband never liked snakes so I re homed him. After 38 years he still says he can't live with a snake. I have live vicariously through you and have enjoyed your reptiles so much. Thank you doesn't seem to be enough. You are an icon that will go on forever. I used to catch little red salamanders here in the Adirondacks. I only caught grass snakes here. Thank you-

Brian is such an amazing person I have enjoyed watching his videos and learned so much about animals from him. When I have watched Brian’s videos I have always observed how Brian almost always had a bright smile on his face the brightest I have ever seen and he was always really kind and he loved his community so much. Brian is a strong bright pillar of the community. He has also inspired so many people to love and appreciate animals. I am forever grateful to have been inspired by Brian and to have been able to learn from him. My heart is with him and his family friends crew and community. His legacy will live on. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏

Really thoughtful of you to put this out for all to smile and watch Brian sharing his love and dedication for reptiles, fish and all creatures great and small. He certainly made me a fan, and to be honest I never imagined that happening, especially for snakes,lol. I still believe in miracles, and I'm still begging God to let Brian stay longer because the world is a better place with him in it.

Thanks for showing this video of Brian sharing his love, and passion for all animals, and reptiles. I have never seen this, and am really enjoying this video. This is the best lecture I have seen of him. He was a living legend, and inspired so many people to love, and respect reptiles. Don't be afraid of reptiles, they are so intelligent, and loving. He can be as humble as he wants about not being Steve Irwin, but he's my 2nd Steve Irwin regardless. A true inspiration and one of my heroes.
This is why Brian is an inspiration, it didn't matter how many hoops Brian had to jump through he was passionate about everything and found a way to make it work. I wish I had that drive and motivation maybe something I need to work on because life doesn't always work out. I'm learning alot about following your dreams. I hope one day I will wake up and say life is short, today I'm going to follow my dreams. I like reptiles and I like art. So if I can ever be in a position where I feel I need to get away from my full time job testing concrete, one day I may do that. I figure about the time I'm 50 I will have 30 years in at the concrete plant, maybe the I will invest more time in my artwork. I love sculpting reptiles and I'm getting good at it. Brian says to follow your passion and I need to wake up and just do it because life is short.

This bloke will never be forgotten. He will be missed dearly on TH-cam. But I know Lori, Noah, and the rest of the crew will look after the legacy and the reptile shop. It's just a shame that's here. He's cancer for a year. And now we are at the stage where he is going to pass from us. We all miss you, Brian. And we will pray for your family when that hard time comes. And also pray. I got my first snake in 1993 when I was 22. It was a beautiful Ball Python! Her name was Baby. I loved that snake and took her with me whenever I could. I know the feeling of loving reptiles! This is an awesome lecture, and so glad I got to see it. It's so cool that you got to know Steve Irwin! Love you Brian! And Remember, Be Kind To One Another!❤❤❤

Brian and I discussed doing collaboration videos, last time I saw him at Aquashella, when he did this talk, and helping me out to grow my channel. He was so excited about the LegaSea Aquarium. That was back in 2022, before his health took a turn for the worse. He was such a genuinely good person. I'm gonna miss him. ❤
This is absolutely heartbreaking to watch. He IS an incredible man. I’m not even a reptile guy but i’ve watched the vlog just about everyday for bout 2 years. I known of him longer than that. He is a special somebody & has left his imprint
There will never be another Steve Irwin, but there will never be another Brian Barczyk either. A wise person once said, "Be who you are, because everyone else is taken." We can all strive to be the best person we can be, with the talents that we are given.

It's so sad to know that at that very moment he unknowingly had a terrible disease gaining strength inside of his body. To hear him talking about plans 3 - 4 years out not knowing yet here what was coming sucks so bad. Talking about being a 95 year old man. "For the next 20 years of my life." :(((

Thank you Brian for all your hard work and encouragement in everything you do. You took this junior sea that couldn’t go in zoom snake houses to a complete understanding of snakes and all reptiles. I have so much compassion for them now and not afraid. I will be honest I still frightened of venomous snakes as three species live in my backyard but I don’t have the immediate reaction to kill. I call for removal and that is a huge step for me and it is because of you. Thank you Brian❣️

And he did it. He did it until the day he died. He did it until 2 weeks before his death. He did animals. There was videos 2 weeks before he died at At his retired place and of course, the last 2 weeks, he did not have any strength to go anywhere. But he was there until the day he died. Basically and he did it, he is going to be missed. I love you Bryan.

I really hope someone takes Bella to see him at least one more time and any other creature that is within his capability to hold. I'd love to say Ivy but i think that would be pushing it too much. Maybe one of the mammals, Havi or Brillo just to put a smile on his face one last time. Im sure he would really love to share a banana with Bella again. Man, I am going to miss him never met the guy. You were crying about somebody I've never met before. In fact, I don't think I've ever cried about any of the famous people that I have watched. Since I was young. He is the first one. We have lost a big big person in our animal Kingdom. That is a big supporter for them and it's just a devastating loss.
And it's nearly done... I hoped he would last long enough to see the doors open and the first guests on opening day....but sadly, he's being called home, far far away..
