I stopped watching for a few years but got in , casually a few years ago again.

My dad , my grandpa and Brian Barczyk.
My dad passed almost year ago now, and my grandpa will be soon. We are surprised he made it to 2024 .

Bro I welled up with tears and was like. I’m not gonna be having tears running down my face. And a minute later the tears were flowing. Such a hard pill to swallow for sure. I idolized Steve Irwin as a kid too. Love these two dudes! Will be amazing they can meet at last 🙌

My eyes are still swollen from Crying from last night. Brian is such a legend. He saved me from boredom during pandemic. The lockdown feels nothing because of Brian's vlogs. Brian’s vlog broke me, it was so hard to watch, i couldn’t believe how hard the cancer had hit him, but with the last few vlogs he had posted I could sense there wasn’t a lot of time left, and Brian knew that fact.
Even going back just under a year ago when his prognosis was about a year I knew Brian was in for a fight. It just sucks so hard that it’s ended so quickly and took him out so fast.
But his legacy will live on, and he’s such an animal enthusiast it’s hard to not get excited about animals, while I’m not into the reptile business I love the animals Brian has and his passion for them is second to none, I don’t know anyone else who vlogs like he does and his energy and passion just jumps through the screen.
Really incredible guy, and I know with Legasea Brian will inhabit that place in spirit, he’ll be in every stone, brick, tank, and piece of coral watching people be inspired and excited, it’s what he wanted.
I know I see his videos for a year ago and think, that guy, had EVERYTHING going for him and was on such an upward trajectory. He has impacted me and will continue to do so. Still praying for him and his family!
@@State48TurtleTortoise- Especially to not see the Legasea finished I think is just so cruel since it was such a massive project and one of the most sophisticated aquariums in the US ever built. Cancer is just evil, it ripped everything away from Brian in such a short amount of time.
It’s kind of an eerie coincidence that he idolized Walt Disney which is interesting considering Walt himself passed away abruptly even before the first Disney park was even finished in Florida and he never got to see its completion, it was finished without him. So I couldn’t help but notice the parallel. Still eerie though.

I have never heard anyone talk bad about Brian, I guess I missed that about his life.
Most people have amazing things to say about him but there is small group who didn’t have nice things to say sadly.
I first watched him I think in my freshman year in high school (just before he started vlogging daily) so about 7 years ago, after a friend recommended him to me, and he was the most upbeat, positive person I've ever seen, I watched him go through a lot of heartbreaking losses and the way he came back from that was just admirable. He inspired me and you and so many others to be positive and follow our dreams. I still remember Chewy and Satan and Sunrise and Artemis, and the opening of The Reptarium and it's really really sad that he won't be here for the opening of the Legasea Aquarium. He's fought a brutal battle and I can't imagine the pain he and so many others go through with chemo and stuff. I don't watch him as often as I used to anymore, but I still catch up with him every once in a while, but when i first heard about this, man... I know the impact he had on the reptile community. He was like this day and age's Steve Irwin, but I really didn't expect him to, just like Steve, die way before his time. At least him and his pets and loved ones will be reunited soon and he will meet Steve and they're gonna light heaven on fire (not literally xD) with their positivity and energy and love of animals. And like Brian always said: "Be kind to someone, ..." Thank you for posting this video and thank you Brian for all the memories. We'll carry on your legacy and make you proud

The news today has broken my heart, he got me into reptiles in 2012. I now do spiders but he inspired me so much, I even made my own TH-cam just recently. He was a real one just like Erwin and his legacy will go on! ❤

I agree with you! Also I will say that just because someone has haters, persecutors it does not mean that they did anything wrong. Jesus was born with enemies. He had haters, mockers and even traitors. Brian is a good man!

I for one, won't stop praying for a miracle. What a mighty testimony this will be, family. God HEALS. Miracles HAPPEN. Lift Brian up! Call to God and THANK HIM for healing this man. The world should not lose him. His family should not lose him. Let US hold him up on the footstool that is the enemy until he is strong enough to stand on his own.

Don't do that. That's not fair to him or his family. Wouldn't have happen to such a great soul in the first place if we had this loving God you claim. I'm not religious. I juat think it's bs when people day they're in a better place or they're gonna be healed and then thwy die anyway. Or even people telling others thwy have been healed. And then thwy die 6 months later. It's bs and it's wrong. He's an amazing person. But this is huat nature. And that's it. We are animals. And we live and we die. Some sooner than others. Brian will live on through those around him and those that knew him. But no miracles don't happen. Doctors cure people all the time. Magic don't.

Brian has been an inspiration for so many people. I am happy to have been able to watch Brian and learn more about animals from him. Brian has inspired many people to learn about animals and appreciate animals. Brian is a pillar to his community and one thing that I have noticed about Brian is his smile which is one of the brightest smiles I have ever seen. I also noticed his kindness and love for animals and the people in his community who he has shared his passion with. Brian loved sharing his passion of animals with people and he loved his family and community immensely. Brian has touched so many people and I am glad to have been able to learn from him and I love Brian and am forever grateful to have found his channel and I am grateful to have learned from Brian. My heart goes out to Brian’s family, crew, friends and community and Brian and his family crew friends and community will be in my thoughts and prayers. Ive never really gotten into brians content much so his death wasnt as impactful to me but now seeing his situation im going to check all his content out and spread his name
He is still with us as of today but the time is coming quickly. His content is amazing and I will enjoy it for years to come as well

yes, that video crushed me, ..but as i posted on other commentators, president Jimmy Carter has been on hospice for at least 5 months, and was able to go to his wife's funeral
