I agree you said it best. I was bawling 😭 my eyes out. The best rescue story ever on Dodo and all stories are amazing. But this earth angel 😇 above and beyond.
Excellent idea a movie and an educational documentary! The environmental impact of cattle grazing on public lands is vastly greater than that of wild horses. Livestock overgrazing is responsible for the degradation of millions of acres of rangelands, while wild horses contribute to only a tiny fraction of this damage. Yet, despite this clear evidence, wild horses are often scapegoated and aggressively removed, while the more significant harm caused by cattle is largely ignored. Imagine a powerful documentary that shines a light on the true culprits-private cattle, mining, and oil industries. These industries, driven by profit, inflict severe damage on our public lands, yet they escape scrutiny and accountability. Meanwhile, wild horses, symbols of freedom and the untamed spirit of the American West, are unjustly blamed and rounded up. This film would expose the harsh realities of livestock overgrazing, revealing how it devastates ecosystems, erodes soil, and depletes water resources. It would contrast this with the minimal impact of wild horses, supported by scientific studies that even show how wild equids can positively affect the environment, such as increasing water availability in desert landscapes (PEER.org) (PEER.org) (American Wild Horse Conservation) (PEER.org). By bringing these truths to light, the documentary could inspire a movement to protect our wild horses and demand more sustainable practices from the livestock, mining, and oil industries. It's time to end the scapegoating and hold the real culprits accountable for their environmental destruction.
This reminds me of the Disney movie Spirit wild and free where Spirit gets captured but later an indian rescues it and they escape together from their captors
This is one of the most noble and consequential actions towards an animal group I have ever had the priviledge to watch. Without your help these would have been several lost horses somewhere in the trade. Now they are a bonded family again due to your persistance. Much respect.
This reminds me of the Disney movie Spirit wild and free where Spirit gets captured but later an indian rescues it and they escape together from their captors.
I come from a long time multi generation ranching family in wild horse country, they have very minimal impact on the range, in their current numbers, a small fraction of ranchers who try to run way too many cattle on very low quality range are the ones screaming about this, as well as mining companies. They are a symbol of the American Old West and MUST be preserved.
Just because you cannot see the effects does not mean they aren’t there. Horse numbers have been increasing since the 1970s and are currently about 3x bigger than what is considered ecologically sustainable. They have a larger per head water requirement than cattle and their overpopulation will reduce the available water access for native fauna and start further detrimental reduction of the water table. If you are truly from out west, I don’t have to explain how critical that already is. Their teeth structure allows them to pull plants out from the teoot (unlike cattle) which increases soil erosion and delays restoration of there repopulation of plant species. As one paper summarized it: “Collectively, the body of literature on unrestricted free-roaming-horse grazing demonstrates that horses have a substantial ecological impact in native upland and riparian plant communities. The ecological effects are probably greater than these studies suggest, because ecosystem recovery can be slow and because most exclusion studies are short term relative to the speed at which ecological properties are recovered following a disturbance” Davies & Boyd “Ecological Effects of Free-Roaming Horses in North American Rangelands” BioScience volume 69 issue 7. 26 June 2019.

There are no words that can describe the moment Blue Zeus was renighted with his family. Therefore, the best I have is simply amazing. Special love to the women who saved the whole family.

Bless your soul. You are what every person should strive to be like. What a gift. I cried from beginning to end. Beautiful herd. So happy for them all❤😊
Finally a happily ever after story !!! This woman deserves the nobel peace prize. She brought peace to these innocent wild animals. Without her, it never would have happened. Thank you so much sweetie !! 😘❤🐎 How can we buy a poster of Blue Zeus ?? That photographer should give you at least half the procedes to help feed and care for the herd. ❤ I will buy a poster !! Also, you need to write a book and use that photo as the cover. Maybe the photographer gets the illustration and you write the story. The whole story of your painstaking journey to get them back. Also, find someone who will make a documentary film about your fight. It looks like you have recorded the process. Now have someone put it all together in a documentary. All that money should help you take care of the herd and find someone to fill your shoes later on. ❤❤❤❤
I bawled and bawled! It's so disturbing that this could happen at all. But, how joyful that such a reunion could happen! Bless this woman all of the minutes of all her days! ❤🥰

WOW, YOU are a real hero! Blessings for you and the horses!🙌
Thank you Clare for all of the work you do and have done to help wild horses and burros through Skydog Ranch Sanctuary.
Women and good men are changing the way farm animals and horses are being cared for. Abuse has been too rife.
Please donate to Clare's non-profit if you can or spread the word about her sanctuary with Blue Zeus to people who can afford to donate!! Thank you ALL who love wild horses!!
Thank you very much for helping ❤❤🙏🙏

Woman, you have me crying. What a beautiful soul and heart you have. I know all of these horses love you and thank you. They know what you did for them, especially Zeus he knows..❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome!! Thank you for saving this entire herd. Horses deserve the best. How many years have they done work for us humans? Just to be forgotten or disregarded. I believe they deserve freedom and respect. I love what you have accomplished with them.❤❤❤
This made me cry. Thank you for reuniting Zeus with his family. You are an incredible person. ❤

Reference: Blue Zeus & his family were rounded up & finally back together again! "Thank you ever so much for making your dream come true!" I absolutely love this story of this caring woman for the family of wild horses! God bless you, Lady! Thank you for who YOU are! ❤❤❤
Made me cry. God bless this wonderful woman!
How can we buy a poster of Blue Zeus ??
Brought tears to my eyes. What a lovely human being you are. I'm a 74 year old male and have been a crazy horse lover all my life, and this video really got to me.
This was so unbelievable. Thank God for people like this woman. Beautiful. How it should be. Wild horses free.
