I would call it more of a character study than a courtroom drama. The core of the film is an exploration and study of a character

Every point you made including some of the vocabulary in this video is ripped straight from Lessons from the Screenplays video on this movie. Nice work being an unoriginal hack, TH-cam definitely needs more of that 👍👍

I'm sorry you feel that way, but, respectfully, I disagree with you. I just rewatched both videos twice and to say every point made in my video was made in LFTS's video would be a gross misrepresentation of both videos. There are many points made in LFTS's video that are not made in mine, and vice versa. The whole focus of each video is completely different. I found it difficult to even find what you were referring to but I think I can pinpoint 3 major things.
Firstly, we both make the point that Mark's goal is to "distinguish himself". This can hardly be considered plagiarism, in my eyes, when the character himself quite literally states it in the opening scene. This is a general observation about the film, which is quite important considering I am talking about Mark's character arc (which is not the main focus of LFTS's video).
Secondly, we both mention Sorkin's rhythmic dialogue and how character's interrupt each other. This is a well established note about the film, and many other articles of Sokin's work, made by many more people than just us. In fact, I would say the points I made about this in my video were more similar to Insider's excellent video on the film, which I made specific reference to.
Thirdly, we both refer to the collaborations that helped produce the film, and again this is not an original point. Many have commented on how Sorkin and Fincher's styles produced this film together. We both, in this section, mention how Fincher is a visual storyteller, and perhaps this was one of the points you were referring to? But if you rewatch LFTS's video you should see that he uses a clip in which Sorkin quite literally says this. Both of us referencing one of the people involved in the making of the film, is also a quite normal thing. It's also important to note that collaboration is one of the fundamental aspects of filmmaking, and as such, addressing it in a video essay is quite a natural thing.
I'm not sure if there was anything else you were referring to, but a lot of my video, which focuses more on the character of Mark and his arc in the film (vs LFTS's video, which was about the screenplay itself, the styles of the screenwriter and director, and how they interacted to create the film), was actually inspired by the personality types of Sorkin, Fincher, and Zuckerberg, and specifically how they are all allegedly INTJ's (I'm not sure if you have any knowledge of this psychology framework). This can be seen in my video at roughly the 8:30 mark. This point alone, by the way, disproves your claim that "EVERY" point made in my video was stolen from LFTS's video.
I'm struggling to see what else you could be referring to when you say I ripped vocabulary from LFTS's video... There are the above mentioned points which are similar, but apart from that all I can find is common film analysis language. It might be important to note that both videos are about the same film, so yes, while I still believe your claim is unwarranted, some overlap is almost impossible to avoid.
We used some of the same clip for our analysis? Is that what you are referring to? Many people have used the same clips that are in both of our videos.
Again, I'm sorry this is your belief, but I must insist that your claim is wrong. If there is anything else I'm missing, feel free to elaborate if you have any examples or points of substance to make. Thanks for commenting.
