Exactly. they've got a life rescue jet ski that's custom made by a company in Alaska that has the aluminum bottom/hull. I wish they had something like this
I had a chat to sea doo dealer and was told that this is exactly the same as the fish pro thropy and sport. This has a few option like windshield and stuff but all of those can be optioned for other crafts. Also they mention long distance but the engine is the same so long distance meaning that you will have to carry extra fuel in a can. Also because this is a new segment they also don’t have anything else to compare it to in terms of economy and staff. Otherwise I love the look and everything else. I would say this model is between the fishpro sport and the throphy
Agreed. A Yamaha FX or a Kawi Ultra are far better choices for open water riding that any Seadoo on the market. They hunt and jerk in the nose of the craft when ridden in proper chop or swell. Most of the owners run these ST3's in light conditions and lakes. You can see in the video it's incredibly calm conditions.
I really love this jet ski. But.... 170 or 230? Big problem to decide. I think that a cruise speed the fuel consumption is almost the same 🤔 I hope white soon, the next year with new colors
Looks a bit weird, almost ugly. But I like the concept and the new approach. It makes sense. A better Fishpro or GTX Touring, much morr practical and smarter. The color is great.
The Seadoo marketing team giving this such a wind up. ST3 hulls are the worst of the new skis for open water riding. The exact opposite of what this guy is claiming. The ST3 bites and jerks the bow in rough conditions which will be the entire reason to buy one of these crafts. Rough water adventures 🤷♂️ I like the ergonomics Seadoo comes up with, the fuel range will be good from that 3 cylinder rotax but please don't feed people nonsense about ST3 hulls. A Kawasaki Ultra or a Yamaha FX will eat this thing for breakfast in open water whilst you are left paying through the nose for Linq accessories 3/5 stars
Love at first sight. ❤️
This thing is like the skandic of seadoos. Now all you gotta do is create a optional aluminum hull for some Real exploration situations

The weight helps keep these small craft stable

The St3 hull is for flat water, its not a deepv hull. It's v in the front and flat towards the stern. ST3 is known for bow hunting in chop.
Why do they depict the ski beached when beaching the ski damages the hull and pump, and the manual says not to do it.
Everyone beaches thier skis, everyone.
@@HansZarkovPhD i never do, and my hulls look like the day they left the factory.
Why is it not possible to make a removable backrest for the driver? For a more relaxed pilot position
seadoo dreams of being as good in chop as a Kawasaki. Kawasaki is and always has been king of chop.

@@williamatherton8358 do you know the range on the standard tank? I’ve been looking for it but can’t seem to find a range/consumption.

The backpack needs a waist belt...

This Explorer Pro needs more horsepower, minimum 230 to 300 horsepower
Windshield 🤣🤣🤣 jet ski owners are so extra.... how has that never been an option 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Black on the water? Never been out in the day? Stupid choice!
I just keep picturing someone hitting a big wave and smashing their forehead into that windshield
It breaks at a hinge. You can just push it forward…
