Hey flooby, I really reccomend you to play any of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer/Shutoko Battle or Kaido battle/kaido racer/tokyo xtreme racer drift games, Maybe Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift on the ps2 too Edit: F&f Tokyo drift on psp and ps2 is made by Eutechnyx, yes, the same guys as ride to Hell retribution. They made some... interesting games, some good, some bad, most are meh, except F&F, Ferrari Challenge and Ferrari The Race Experience, and that one Street tuning game that barely passes as a porn game (its unironically a good game, i'm impressed)
its interesting how many of these games, maybe besides dora's, could perfectly be freeware pc titles or even shockwave 3d flash browser games from later that decade. when something becomes a business, surely that there will be many unpassionate and inexperienced corporations trying to make a quick buck out of that. it happened to gaming in the early 80's, hence the 1983 crash, was something in the 2000s with the games you have just presented and the freemium pc titles, and is still a thing with low-quality asset flippers and the shovelware hell in the free-to-play mobile market. I am not cleaning the mega corporations, with their AAA titles, out of this issue. the fact that the mainstream gaming scene has its deep problems, in which are a bit related to the one in question, is a subject on their own. but we can conclude that when any media becomes just a product for profit, disposed of any of its artistic values, we have to deal with this kind of trash in the scene. however, if I point deeper to the root of the problem, surely that there will be replies wanting my head on a stake
