Your analysis and perfect presentation of whole lineup is absolutely superior to any other youtube/other reviews that i saw so far. I don't need to remember any details, I just check that lineup summary picture in your video/web page and then in few seconds I understand which shoes are worth to focus on and then just check only those specific reviews. This saves me so much time. Your channel is hidden gem. I wish you much more subscribers and likes :-)
First of all, thanks! Second, We have all brands reviews on our “local language channel”. Please share video with your running friends, so that we will be more motivated to translate them.
Considering how people have been reacting to the Boston 10 it's interesting you pick it as a winner. I just got the Boston and adios 6, being lighter i feel like i would use the adios 6 as my 5k and 10k racing shoe and Boston as my training shoe.
Awesome video. New in running. Same track, same distance my 5k time in Solarboost 5 with Boost Light foam is so much better than my time in Pegasus 40. And the Adidas feels more stable and comfortable, perfect for long runs too…
I'm addicted to this channel in May 2022! Back to Adidas... The cheapest fastest section shoe is Boston 10 by Adidas but crazily... Even during the sale time ..Supernova + sells at a higher price than Boston10...I can say that being in India.
Wow, this was by far the most descriptive video I've seen on Adidas shoes. I am so grateful for this, thank you. I will now go on to become a Regional and National champion, professional runner for Adidas, US champ, Olympic qualifier, Olympic champ, etc.
Hello! Just discovered the channel… Not disappointed at all! Very complete, clear and byus explanations. Can you please do a review for Brooks shoes please? Many thanks and keep up the quality work 👌 PS: I’m just copy pasting this comment under all your review videos so eventually you notice it 😅
For an overweight person, my best shoes would be Adidas Senseboost Go. I use it for 5k, 10k and casual. It is so comfortable and my legs were never hurt. Now that my Senseboost Go are gone, sole wear and literally tear off the shoes, I got a new 4DFWD Pulse 2. It's not as comfortable but it kinda propels. My legs hurt if walk in them for an hour, but it won't hurt if I ran/jog for an hour. I do really miss my Senseboost Go :(
Thank you, I am amazed with so much information. I've always looked fondly at my Supernova+ even though I mostly use an Ultraboost 21. Greetings from Peru!
Parabéns, ótima análise dos tênis adidas. Aula! 💯👍🏼 just got my Boston 11 and feels amazing. Light and responsive. Very happy to hear about it in the end.
After spending the last 3 months for running shoes for me (85 kgs) ... I did not like any model from Adidas. I think their stability runners are too heavy and less cushioned, and their speed runners are hard and only meant for people with light feet. This is despite, the boost sole being the best sole in the market... Somehow that sole works best for lifestyle and not running. I finally chose Pegasus 38 and Saucony Ride 15 + Guide 15.
I did not know that the 4D was so good for shock absorption . I went with the Ultraboost 22 instead, a very comfortable shoe and it is possible to run fast since it is extremely stable , for me. Maybe next time when I need another high cushioning shoe I will try the Adistar or the 4D .
I subbed to your channel because of your Supernova, which I bought for my training. Your guys have alot to show. I hope you guys have more subs next years🎉
Very well made, thanks for your informed insight. I love my adidas boost shoes i'd rather sacrifice weight for a more durable foamed shoe for my money. Very helpful.
This was a good explanation of Adidas shoes, a much needed one. Must say I was surprised that durability is an issue on the Boston 10; because I still run in my Boston 8 and they hold up great even after 360 km.
Thank you so much, after seeing your video, this is what I have purchase: Ultraboost light and supernova + are for my daily easy trainings that are less than 13k Adios 6 I use them when doing track Boston 11 for my trainings that are more than 13k Adios pro 3: race day for 15k+ Takumi Sen: 5k runs I'm thinking to use the boston for the 10 k, adios pro 3 or takumi 🤔 What do you think?
we will do running shoe selection video/scheme as our next project (although it will take a lot of time, so not soon). For now, i can surely say, that there is no possibility to answer your question, since i do not know your fitness level, your running experience level, your weight, etc. Please wait a bit for mentioned content.
Amazing video I just bought a pair of Supernova+ for 36 USD and was wondering what it is normally used for. I think of it as the cousin to my Solarglides but it isn't light- well neither are light shoes meant for serious fast runners, but I am not an athlete so it is ok. Also I have Ultraboost19 which I think of as casual lifestyle shoes more than running and Pureboost but I think those are just for jogging and casual wear.
As I said in a comment above, the boston 10 take a bit to adapt and break in for, like 30-50 miles. They're not for everyone, but from what I've gathered, tall heavy runners that run medium distances at medium pace will enjoy them. Also not for heel strikers. It's a bit of niche shoe, but a lot of people complain because they put them on the Boston line, which was probably a marketing mistake, so a lot of opinions are negatively biased.
Good concept, and a great effort to make things easy to go through / understand, but sadly there are a couple of mistakes here and there. - Putting the Boston in Stability / Support shoes is at least questionable. - You're using the SL20.2 while the SL20.3 is out from the beginning of the year. - The Adizero Adios Pro 2 (or any version) didn't break any Marathon World Record. Eliud Kipchoge used Nike Vaporfly 4% at London 2018, Brigid Kosgei raced with Vaporfly Next% in Chicago 2019, and Mary Jepkosgei Keitany had Adidas shoes at London 2017, but those were likely Adios 3, or a Boston model, but way before the Adizero Adios Pro were made. It's true that the Adios Pro (1st version, not second) did break Half Marathon records, but they're not holding them any more (all done with Nike). - The Adizero Takumi Sen 8 are not the lightest shoes by Adidas. The Sen 7 (and Sen 5 before that) are lighter, as well as many Track shoes, and some collaborations (namingly, Adizero x AllBirds). And there's the Adipure Gazelle. True, the Gazelle is impossible to find, and the Sen 5 and 7 are not from this year, but the Sen 7 is still sold, as well as all the track shoes. - Speed-lightness vs speed-roll doesn't really make a lot of sense. Better call it speed-short distance (up to 10km) and speed-long distance (anything over 10km) - The title isn't exact either. You're talking about Road Running. No mention of track shoes, or trail running shoes either. Also, all caps, really?
Hi Charles, First of all, thank you for such a detailed comment! We really appreciate when our viewers do have their opinion and willing to share their thoughts! Second, most of your notes show us that you are really experienced in terms of running shoes, can share a lot of knowledge with the world. If so, just drop us an email, lets do something together. Third, Let me briefly go through the points: -Boston: Did not understand what you mean. It is not in stable segment. -SL20: You are correct -Adios Pro: Records are made to be broken and we are fine with it. Anyway, adidas athletes try to beat them exactly in these shoes. -Takumi: It is the lightest on the scheme. It is unnecessary to dig into old models to find even lighter. Clearly, every brand have T&F range, which will be it. -Speed segment: We are strongly against KM as a segment. You can easily do 42km in ADIZERO ADIOS, same as you can do 10km in ADIZERO ADIOS PRO. The reason to divide is an approach how this model gain speed. Check out Nike review, it is more obvious from there. -Title: 90% of viewers want exactly what title says, so it is not even a clickbait.
Perfect analysis mate. Have a question, I was about to get supernova+ but lots of ppl complain about the running comfort therefore I decided to spent less bucks and get the cheaper questar performance. Do you think that was a good idea or should I take the supernova?

Please suggest... Ranking wise for speed pushing forward and comfortable as well... 5 km speed faster speed shoes...energy return and pushing boucyness as well...shoes... Which have Grip stability... Speed for 5 km...

Isn't it RC3 and Not RC4. I didn't find any RC4 online. I own a RC3 and I Love it good for speed work. Also have a EQ21. In the diagram you placed it next to Ultraboost 22. But EQ21 has a full bounce midsole, it is firmer than supernova and a bit lighter as supernova has little boost foam which increased its weight over eq21.
@@RUNFAQ Anyway. Thanks for the information. Being in india. Adidas is probably the only brand where I find the most options for running shoes. this video helps a lot for us.

i liked the video, really nice work, the only thing i disagree is the last sentence that is way off. the boston 10 is a terrible shoes, probably the worst of the boston series, it is heavy, stiff and has no rebound. the fastest shoes and the best overall is the adios pro 2, the takumi sen 8 is fast but for short distance max 10k after that the adios pro 2 is way better.
Nomination is “if we able to pick only one”. Adios pro 2 is an absolute disaster for trainings, it could be only used by pro or to compete. There is no way it could be “only shoe”. And that is the reason boston 10 is this shoe. Although it is heavy, it is a bit speedy. Although it is bouncy, it is comfortable. It is not fastest or most comfortable, but most universal!
@@RUNFAQ thank you for your reply. i see your point, i loved the boston series i ran 2 marathons in the previous versions, but the boston 10 is not comfortable, especially if you are running slow, at least not for me. the day after an hard workout you can feel how hard is the midsole, maybe because i am not a fan of the lightstrike, it is kind of dead and it doesn't bounce, i love the lightstrike pro, that is why for me it is more comfortable the adios pro than the boston 10. If i had to choose only one, than adios pro 2 or takumi sen 8 (also more comfortable than the boston 10 sorry :)). Bro pls let me know about the EQ21 as I’m considering to order those as my total budget is only 60$. Reasons for buying those is i have to wear those for 15 hours daily and my heels hurt alot, and if you have any other recommendations please let me know. Looking forward Thanks
@@RUNFAQ Thanks for your time, I'm a bit confused, I don't know if I should go for the supernova, supernova +, eq21 or response super. I'm heavy and need extra support I guess
@@RUNFAQ Yes, I ran for about 10 km and I gave them back. They were too harsh and sort of high from the ground. I had to buy somthing for the same money and I got the adios 6 and a shirt lol. The general sensation they gave me was that the shooe is unstable, that I could roll my ankel at cornering.

The Boston 10 is a BRICK! The best running shoe Adidas ever produced were the Adizero 4 and 3’s for speed and comfort.

WHICH ADIDAS MODEL DO YOU RECOMMEND TO STAND AND WALK ALL DAY?
Solar glide
what about Questar?
ADISTAR takedown
What about response super?
Basic stability model
@@RUNFAQ Thanks for your time, I'm a bit confused, I don't know if I should go for the supernova, supernova +, eq21 or response super. I'm heavy and need extra support I guess
The boston 10 is a disappointment. Just go with solar glide or adios 6 for general purpose
Maybe. Did you try Bostons?
@@RUNFAQ Yes, I ran for about 10 km and I gave them back. They were too harsh and sort of high from the ground. I had to buy somthing for the same money and I got the adios 6 and a shirt lol. The general sensation they gave me was that the shooe is unstable, that I could roll my ankel at cornering.
