Mark. It's an early retiree's delight! Here in UK most owners are over 55. Again odd looks but somehow Toyota walks the line... just. Quality and reliability.
    Expensive!. Good, honest review.
    Thank you.

This guy always informs if its easy to get into this car (high entry etc) which is such an imp point yet many car reviewers miss telling that at all

Gorgeous car! Test drove one a few weeks ago and I'll be placing an order for the Excel model shortly! Drives like a dream and looks fantastic!

I've had my C-Hr since 2017 and are just waiting for the new one to get released here in Sweden so that I can order one... It's been the best car I have ever owned... The only thing that's not so good is the price increase... but I guess that is how it is :)

You won’t appreciate the interior plastics quality build either… step down from previous model. I was also thinking to replace it but not any more…

Crazy money for cars these days. Probably 14k more than it was when the MK1 came out. Great car and looks well but it needs a panoramic sliding sunroof option

disappointed you weren’t impressed by the supposed increase in power…. that extra power would be the reason for me changing if I did change..

I have the first generation CHR Hybrid Sol. Very efficient car to drive. Good quality and reliable. But the downsides are the claustrophobic feel, narrow rear window visibility and the noisy CVT upon acceleration, overtaking and uphill drive. Its droning sound really pierces the ear drum and causes partial deafening.😂 My kids have finally grown with it and started to complain how they can’t see the views and landscapes and started to complain of being nauseous. I traded it with a Volkswagen Tiguan. The window visibility is way more open and airy.

From side it looks like front has been pushed back from a tip 😅

I wanted to buy the C-HR but there will probably be a new Honda Prelude on the market.

I've been very impressed by the performance and fuel efficiency of my wife's 2020 Yaris Hybrid. Not so happy with the plasticy fit and finish though. The C-HR looks better quality materials and with the same Hybrid set up, would make sense. All depends on price really.

      Start just over €40k

Just wondering what model is this, SOL?

    • @glcork
      @glcork 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

I think so as the interior ambient lighting is only available from the Sol version up.

It's a shame the manual transmission isn't there, and if do, they could consider the a top trim with the manual.

    50k?!? That's RAV4 territory 😢

In 2020 I bought a new Rav4 Hybrid Sol for €43K, you can still get a new Luna grade Rav4 for 44.5K. I have the Plug-in Hybrid Rav4 now which in Sport grade is the same price as the GR C-Hr, it's a no brainer that the Rav4 is the better prospect. The C-Hr is a silly price for that class of car, I think they'll reduce their sales dramatically, even within Toyota's own range there are better cars for the money.

@@MrJwmurph You have the right side of view. For the C-HR GR SPORT PREMIERE you have to pay 49,3k Euros!!!! That´s insane for such a little car. It looks amazingly good but the Price is much too high. I think many peaple won´t buy a C-HR because of the Price!!!! For this Price you can get an Hyundai Tucson N-Line Hybrid with 230HP. It´s bigger and has 200L more Luggage Room. 617L !!! and not only 428L like the C-HR. The Hyundai looks also very good but more Space for the same Money!!!!! Hyundai will get many Toyota Owners.

Car prices tumbling globally. Dealers just won’t admit it yet. Worst time to buy. Do your research to see what’s happening in the motor industry with car prices global 😮

True. Trade in prices have fallen by thousands in the past 6 months. I think dealer margins are still healthy though!

I’m not sure, it still has some of the same shortcomings on the older model, and no spare wheel. I think a top spec Yaris Cross gets my money

When did 40k for the likes of a C-HR become acceptable? I can't get my head around that.

I sat in one and it would have been superb if I was 5ft tall. Unfortunately I’m 6ft and it was like sitting in a toy car. Poor poor ergonomics for taller people.
