You sometimes hear about old blokes Walting as WW2 veterans, never heard of one Walting as a war gaming shop manager though 😅
I use to play at a shop that didn't charge table fees, we would constantly have small unattended children coming up the the table (one almost grabbed a hand full of my dead Kin) or we would have lots of people asking about what we are playing or who's winning etc.
We found a place that charges, only 3 bucks but it is so worth it. They have a whole back part of the shop with large tables and plenty of terrain. Shout out to Java Haus here in Jacksonville Florida. I love that place!
15:19 Now I cannot get the Henry Mancini masterpiece out of my head 😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣😂
I’m getting an urge to work on my Flames of War Soviets
I loved the cat cameos! Also, for the man not liking the awkwardness, my advice? Well, what helps me with similiar scenarios is: just forget it. I mean, obviously file the memory away and if he acts up again- you’ll know where it’s coming from. But if you can -or want to- try just being friendly and forgive him? EVEN if the other party won’t acknowledge it.
I had a boss who was an asshole and everyone hated him. But he was a military guy and I knew he was the type who had a hard time saying his feelings (he told me as much when I finally left the job). Idk- but it helps give me peace of mind with a lot of scenarios
Love the turniment idea ! ! ! 👍
Always enjoy hobby nightmares
I've never heard of this Key Employee concept, despite having worked and managed retail. Here in the States, you work for the company, period. First level is grab someone else who works in that store, Level 2 is grab someone from another store in the same company. Either way, they are an actual employee of the company (or the franchisee company), not some rando with no connection or understanding. I think I need it explained fully to me.
It is an odd concept I admit xD
Got an unreal need to rewatch the original pink panther now
I’ve been humming it at work all day
@@thebestplaguemarine3130 KAAAAAATTTOO!!!
Dave was just Ghost Ops for WW2 Bolt Action gate keeping - leave him be.
Wish I spent more time in 40k stores, but I've got my own setup with all the paints, lighting, and glue that I could need. So I basically just go into stores to pick up paints and leave.
101st Airborne! ! ! 👍
Thanks for the nightmares!
So, how does GW consider key workers? As they aren't classed as employees. I'm assuming they consider them something in the realms of agency workers?
Is The Die Glocke/ 'The Bell' in Bolt action?
I feel for the first guy. Im playing admech and Knight rn. Both are very noob trapy. Anyone with a halfway decent comp list gives me a lot of trouble, but the weaker list get stomped
Can u work for gw if ur crap at painting
Yep! They will teach you, if you mean retail.
They couldn't care less if you're good at or even like the hobby - you're there to sell models.
