HONOR has confirmed a starting price of £1,699 (~$2,236) for the UK and €1,999 (~$2,218) for Europe! Let us know what you think of the price tag and anything else about the Magic V3!
This foldable phone is a beast Honor isn't messing about Samsung could learn something as they just become Apple copycat no innovation since the Note 20 Ultra I'm definitely picking up the Honor foldable 3 can't wait!
Complaining about spending time to set up your phone is SUCH a dumb tech TH-camr complaint. Nobody else has this complaint in real life because they aren't setting up a new phone every week.
Timestamp says disappointing software....I clicked and your complaint about the software is just some settings that can be easily adjusted when you first get the phone and bloatware that you can just delete......? I had to rewatch to make sure I didnt miss anything lol
Good review, thank you! I've been using it for a month already (imported) and I really disagree with your views of the OS, I find it really great and even matches/surpasses One UI in some aspects: big folders, expandable apps shortcuts, network speed, the gestures for split and floating are easier, has screen Mirroring while matching TV's aspect ratio (not on one ui), has desktop mode, etc. The software issues you listed are mostly resolvable in 1 day of use and then you don't have to worry about them (set it and forget it) and I prefer the defaults they have (ex. no so drawer is better IMO because I organize all of my apps in folders in one of the side pages). Also literally took me 15 seconds to tick all the apps I didn't want and drag them to uninstall (you can do this in the homescreen) It just seems like you didn't try to get used to the UI and expected everything to be like One UI or Pixel UI. All the best.
There are so review videos but it’s all from short term use perspective and to be take. With a grain of salt. I just decided to order one today and will use it for a bit and then decide if I keep it or not. I’m coming from iPhone but have used android before but dislike Samsung phones.
Wow, nice u got it already.. Looking forward for it to come to stores in Norway hopefully soon.. Aren't u scared with physical damage etc or other problems without warrenty / imported? No insurance? Kinda expensive phone for that imo
@@rohiin I should get it in the new few days just placed the order today. I bought it from Honor UK so thought it is coming from UK but will see. I’m did not consider damage even if it was coming from china as I purchase on AliExpress electronics and never had an issue.
@@rohiin no I have 1 year warranty from average tech store and he's trustworthy. Also the device is very durable (search for durability tests on TH-cam and you'll see) so I'm not really worried. Also can get insurance for it if I want from some tech stores here.
Very good content and a great presentation. Even better seeing as you're a Manchester-based content creator and probably living a few feet away from my gaff in Ancoats. I was tempted to press the 'buy' button today, especially with a price of £1300 using the £300 discount voucher + Honor points. Maybe next year sometime seeing as I can't really justify paying for a V3 when I already own a Magic 6 Pro.
Does anyone know if the Honor Magic V3 is also compatible with the Windows app Smartphone-Link? Is it also possible to copy text on the phone and paste it on the PC?
Compromising on the software because you wanted to change some set-up preferences? On all objetive measures it is a beast. Look at the default software through the lens of a company trying to grab marketshare from Apple, and how the defaults are tailored to be a steppingstone for them. Android users should be capable of tweaking settings to customise their device as they always have done.
I have the V2 and am looking to return to the Google ecosystem. Love the thin phone, it is easy to us e- but it is so clunky in the way it interfaces with Garmin watch, slow to recieve emails notifications, bank codes time out etc. It just spoils what is an incredible bit of hardware and isn't acceptable to me personally.

True
"I don't want to have to set up my phone, it should be exactly the way I want it out of the box" - not totally convinced that's a valid complaint.
Exactly. That's what my grandma wants out of a phone!

global v3 works fine on the USA carriers btw
Where can you buy it though?

Global is
I prefer the magic os to any other android skin. It has so many hidden features
With other reviewers the face to face translation works great and every phone needs customising to your own preferences so.....
Getting there... need to fix the crease, battery life and the price.
does magic v3 has PlayStore?

Is complaints about the user interface or not actual problems that can't be solved they were just preferences.
Another reviewer said the Fold 6 had more Samsung bloat apps than the Global V3. So which is it?
Is this an Android Enterprise compatible device ie able to install Intelligent Hub by VMware for access to corporate use?
Based on the rate of improvement, I'll probably get myself a V4 next year.

They don't have 16G memory model.
They do if you buy the Chinese version which is also compatible with Google services. 12GB however should suffice for a few years yet.

Turn off aggressive battery saving settings to receive notifications in time.
do it support Huawei NM card ? 🤔
