Sounds ideal
this is literally what I’ve been looking for to make
Probably gonna use your exact build but more mods and diff key caps
cerakeys would sound great on this board
Hi mate, what wristrest is that ?
nice! now make it pink.
sounds litltle muted maybe is the micro or case foam
Yeah i agree, this version sounded better than with the silicone dampener but i bought some new switches to test it out on my qk so stay tuned for the next one!
Sounds like any board with pe foam tbh.
alright make a sound test with ur keyboard please i need to decide between some switches
@@uviolin593 Not that it's a bad thing but, yea characteristic of the switch is kinda gone. Waiting to get my space65 r3 will leave the pe foam out.
im with you, pe foam is for cheap keebs
It all comes down to what your preference is 😉
@@anbuknight not really, the pe foam isolates the sound the switch makes from the pcb. It just makes the switches sound cleaner together with the plate foam. I stuck both foams in as i don't like it harsh/loud sounding for my qk65 because it's my daily driver.
both your poron case foam and silicon is not installed inside right?
Correct 🫡
@@mcclackhead do you think for long pole deep sounding switches like the morandi, to go for FR4 plate instead of PC/POM?
@@MightyRaph it depends on what sound signature you're trying to achieve. The morandi switch is on the quiet-ish side of the spectrum so the stiffer your plate material is, the louder it gets and vice versa. And it depends on the design of the keyboard too so it really depends on what you prefer ;)
@@mcclackhead so for the morandi to achieve creamy poppy profile i should be trying FR4 plate instead of POM is it something like that?
because the board feels like very echoy not sure is it because of the plate issue
are the switches lubed or stock
They are lubed with krytox 205g :)
@@mcclackhead ty!
what numpad is that?
It's the EPOMAKER GK21S Kit :)
Black rifle coffee, nice!!
It’s not creamy, it’s thocky
