It's too wimpy to fly and too fragile to crash.
I've had two. Consider them unflyable. Easily broke one. The second flew away in about a 2mph wind. I'm happy to be rid of them. There are so many better choices around.
HS Customer service is no good at all.
Overpriced. One went intermittent and died after a relatively minor tumble. Didn't stop working immediately, so I gotta wonder. The battery seems to have too much inertia for the rest of the drone. Drops like a warhead.
I've been more satisfied with thirty dollar drones. The motors are poor matches for the inadequate propellers so it is very prone to damaged, breaking props. Very small prop dents tend to ruin the flight. Look at the way it swings around on video. The 440 came with one battery, and is a waste of an OK camera, providing you can get it to record to the SD card at all. Why did they put a gimbal on this thing? SD card slot is obstructed. Seems like a rebranded Asian Frankendrone with no flight controls, but a lot of internet marketing hype.
5 MPH winds are a problem. Only has two speeds Better land immediately.

I had a less than happy experience with the HS440. I was never able to get a stable hover with it. It wandered all over, and the longer it flew, the worse it got. I tried to use the trim to get it under control but was not successful after several attempts. I had to fight it to the ground each time I flew. Sent it back - looking for a good replacement.

So far, its a decent drone. I'm not sure what the price was in 2021, but at $75 as of 2024, it came with just one battery and cable. It's a little difficult to manually calibrate as well.

Have never owned / operated a drone before, I want a drone to fly down golf course fairways and record the fly overs. Can I add commentary to the video recordings ya think after I download the video to my laptop's hard drive??

Does this drone have gps mode? I can’t take it out of beginner mode. It just says “timeout” over and over. Very frustrating.

That is normal. Try a higher bit rate card like the SD Extreme.
Do you have to sign up in the holy stone fpv app for it to work ?
It is best to use a phone with the controller to use all its options.
My drone I've had it for like 4 months and a few days ago I tried to fly it but one of the propellers were not going, I tried to unscrew the top of the propeller to see if there was like grass or something stopping it but it was not there so I put it back on and it's still not working.
Motor is going bad.
I crashed mine a couple times now one it looks like one of the propellers doesnt spin right cuz when i go to make the drone fly it angles down and doesnt wanna fly
Sounds like a damaged motor. May need to replace the motor.

I bought a Holystone before and had to return it, 2 Android and 1 Apple phone, 2 Android tablets, none worked with it. Thats my biggest concern.
You probably didn't go to your wifi connection and set it to "holystone". It doesn't mention this in the manual but that's what you have to do
@@sandcastle1417 I did, the problem was my devices were all 2.4ghz and the drone needed 5ghz. That was my complaint, the details didnt specify.
My phone says it connects to the holystone wi fi "with no internet." And I can't get the camera to transmit to my phone. Any ideas what's going wrong here?

Can you tell me what the SD card in the drone is for, does the drone send pictures or video to the phone via wifi or do you need to take out the SD card and put it in your phone?

In the instruction book it says the drone supports TF Card upto 32Gb
However there is no slot or anything on the drone body, I have watched other videos and they show a slot for the SD card on the body of the drone, but its a different model, 720.
I have even peeled off the stickers on my drone to see if the slot was hiding under there. when I was buying the drone the advert blurb claimed that a higher resolution was available if you use a TF card (not included), this was a factor in my buying this drone because I wanted to take high res pictures of high up windows etc for inspecting before painting quotes
@@utubeape My recently purchased HS440 has a card slot located on the bottom, about 3/4" forward of the power button. Make sure the card is formatted as FAT32! Otherwise, everything will appear to work, but nothing will be getting saved to the SD card.

I didn't test the range limits. However it never lost signal.

Maybe, but I wouldn't suggest flying that far.
In your honest opinion, if you're spending $150, which is the better choice, the HS440 or the HS175D?
HS 440 is the better drone. Video quality isn't as high; however, I like it better.

Mine is missing the flash card, and those are cheap, but missing the second battery and charger is not cool as they are probably expen$ive!
Also, the slightest breeze will blow it past the house and once you loose sight of it it's gone!
And as for headless mode, what the heck does that even mean because the instructions don't tell you!

I had just bought it and the first thing that happened when I lifted off is it fucking DARTED to a nearby forest and I never saw it again even after like 6 hours of searching, on the bright side... They sent a new one

It is only 80 dollars, flies good. Poor range, but I think the camera video is fine for the price. This is one of my personal favorite drones too.

We now have a way to escape our sin-and consequently, a place full of darkness, fire, burning, the absence of all of God's goodness, terrible pain, and loneliness when we die. All of this for eternity somehow concentrated into 3 hours was what Jesus experienced. Please accept Jesus Christ as your Savior to go to Heaven and live with Him when we die. Heaven will be full of love, life, peace, indescribable and immense joy, worship of God, sinlessness, and many other things. However, I should warn you that our lives on earth may not be easy. God doesn’t promise ease. As Christians, we may endure suffering, sorrow, fear, pain, or even lose our lives for Jesus. But it will be so, so worth it.
All you need to do to be saved is accept that Jesus is in fact the Lord, the Messiah, the Son of God, and that you have sinned, there is nothing you can do to save yourself, and that you do need Him to be saved. If you believe that with your heart and confess it to Him, although you may not immediately feel a difference, the Holy Spirit will at that moment enter you, and you are one of His. God has grasped you from the hands of Satan, and there is nothing you or anyone else can do to make you lose your salvation. That is an amazing thing indeed.
Once you have become a Christian, you should start going to a good church that is and teaches strictly based on the Word of God, the Bible, to find out what you should do next. You should also start reading it yourself. God does love you all. Why else would He send His Perfect Son to die for us? Thanks for reading, God bless.
