    "Carried off by the breeze and never seen again" LOLOLOLOL. Exactly what happened when I bought my son a drone a few years ago for Christmas. Huge excitement, lasted all of ten minutes when the thing got caught by the wind and disappeared down a hill into a bush area, never to be seen again. Love this stuff.

      Fly in open spaces where non gps drones cant get lost and without wind. then this wont happen. But I agree with you that stories of drones getting lsot are hilarious. Just read a couple of amazon reviews of non gps drones :)

      For like 30 bucks the holy stone 210 is awesome! Its my first drone, its an indoor drone and it is quite hard to break. Pretty fast on high speed and really fun. My dog likes to chase it so we make good sport of it too:)

    So crazy watching this. I started my TH-cam journey with these “toy” drone. Such great memories.

    Held down the lading button it cut the power bout 3 stories high over some concrete and it still works. Fun lil drone.

    Do you have any lag when flyign the drone. Its quite hard to operate the drone from just looking at the camera as there is a 2-4 second delay. Did this happen to you and any way to fix it?

    Hi Shane, as a long time drone flyer I would recommend you to get a DJI mini SE, best you can get for your money and don’t loose it the first day.

    Does the cellphone need to be connected to a provider or will it work only with the drones WiFi signal

    • @shanecraigtech

      It only needs to be connected to the drone

    Hi! Does the camera freeze a lot?

    • @Feich99
      @Feich99 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just got mine. It does freeze every so often but when looking at the video from an SD card then it doesnt freeze at all and the quality is improved up to 1080p.

    What ever happened to the arial video of your mom's lake? I was actually looking forward to seeing that.

      I'm not sure that a shot of that lake ever made it into a review actually. To be clear though, it's a lake in their subdivision, not their lake lol. I can't have people thinking I grew up all privileged.. that house is my stepfather's doing 😂

    "watching the drone" Did you watch the drone fall?

    When it comes to drones, you get what you pay for. Get a DJI mini (at least) it is approximately 1000 times better in every way 😊

    • @shanecraigtech
      @shanecraigtech  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm sure it is, but if you're wanting something to try out, learn to fly a bit and not be worried about destroying..

    • @morryzelcovitch-brainwavee2204
      @morryzelcovitch-brainwavee2204 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shanecraigtech The only problem with that statement is that you are not worried about destroying the drone and that is fine but... What about what the drone will destroy when it flies out of control and chops up your kid or your dog in the blades or even less important property?

    • @shanecraigtech
      @shanecraigtech  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm not advocating for intentionally crashing into things. I'm advocating for the same logic that says you shouldn't give your kid a super nice car as their first car. It should be something that'll be okay to get a few dents. Let them get a nice car when they've got that out of their system.

    • @morryzelcovitch-brainwavee2204
      @morryzelcovitch-brainwavee2204 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@shanecraigtech I'm actually a drone pilot and I have a really good drone and I'm sure you're not advocating for crashing anything. But that being said, the drone that he was demonstrating is a crash looking for a place to happen. It's literally programmed to crash and fly away. Honestly $99 for that. You'd be better off flushing it down the toilet. If you truly want to drone properly, you need something with GPS. You need something that has a bit of a history of being safe. I know again that you are not advocating for anything bad to happen, but that kind of a drone. It's almost unavoidable. I hope you understand. I'm not you know. Trying to sound like a know-it-all but I have chopped up a finger or two in my time on my own hand of course 🙂

    • @adinwalls
      @adinwalls ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have been down this argument many times. The problem with these cheaper GPS enabled drones is that a lot of the failsafes have been removed which ironically requires a deeper knowledge of how these GPS drones work. If the drone companies could simply include a crash course of when to fly, the warning signs to know if your drone needs to land immediately etc. then far less people would crash them.

    Oh man, what a P.O.S., I was gonna buy one, but seeing how loud and poor the video quality is, even with the card, decided to pay what you get for, and get something better.

      What do you expect for the price. I have a DJI mini pro 3. My granddaughter wanted a drone. This perfect for an 8 year old to learn on. I paid $58. I lost an $800 drone once. She can loose it an no regrets.
