Got one and right out of the box the one arm would loose connection. Called Holy Stone and no hassles just sent a pic. of the problem and they sent me a new one with in 3 days. Good company to deal with. They stood behind their product.
I just went thru the book again the gyro cal. is not in there. The flight today was a little squirrelly will have to try the gyro cal. on the next flight. Thanks for the tip.
@@captlarry-3525 Had to deal with Fimi that was the opposite, big hassle I was lucky that the company who sold it to me had the part it in stock, It was a know problem with the remote.
@@backwheelbell IT takes nice pictures, my only complain is the range, factory claims 999 metters but the max I get is 200 metters I have adjusted the range on the control also to no avail. I woulb be ok if I could go at least 500 , I used the Ophelia app at first and I am using the M RC PRO, bit still on an Open field no more than 200.

Ummm, no it’s not there are 2 and 3 axis gimbal drones with the same features as this and some have better cameras. So no this is not even close to being the best budget drone, I rather pay the extra money for a mavic mini at this point.
I purchased this drone following your review, the first one failed big time during flight. Holy Stone customer service is excellent and they sent out a new drone. The Ophelia Go app also had some serious issues at the beginning of the year but that is all sorted now. I am now a product tester for them, which is really cool.
@@readygroup5107 The camera had a fault but the main problem was it decided to to try and fly away ( common fault with Holystone now) finally flipped over and fell out of the sky from 20m onto hard ground. The second one now has has a GPS issue after 35 flights so have given up on Holystone now.

This review was the reason I bought the HS720E and I have not been disappointed. I love it. I have made a modification to the charging setup to cut down on charging time (1 hour) so that I am charging and soring my batteries with my RC car charger which works great. I just want to say that I stumbled into one of your videos while doing research on which drone to buy and since it is my first drone I wanted a reliable one that would take good video and wouldn’t break the bank... I am so happy that I landed here! (no pun intended?) You Sir have the best drone videos by far, the way you explain things it makes me feel like if I was there building and playing with the drone. Your videos are fun and when they end I always ask myself “maybe there is a sequel?” I just don’t want to stop watching. I was a bit confused before bumping to your channel since I was trying to decide between the Holy Stone HS720E and the Ruko F11 Pro and to me they’re pretty similar but after watching your videos I decided to go with the HS720E hopefully I made a good decision. Great video. I was looking at a DJI Mini 2, pulled the trigger on the HS720E instead. Very pleased. Super easy to operate, stable, easy, safe. Only thing I absolute hate is the charger. HS should have made a more beefy charger that holds the batteries better, lick drop in/ lock. Video is amazing quality.

Some differences between the HS720E and the original HS720: Is heavier than the HS720. Has a three minute shorter flight time per battery than the HS720. Comes with two batteries compared to the one battery of the HS720. Has a new improved camera compared to the HS720. May have better image stabilization compared to the HS720. Can take a 128GB SD card compared to the HS720 32GB limit.

Haven't flown my old HS7010 drone since last year. It was my first budget drone before my Evo1. I did have lots of fun with it and for the most part it was reliable. I did have a few issues with the remote display. I will say that their customer service was ok. I had to send many pics of the problem before they sent me a new remote. Like many other low end drones. The customer service will drive you crazy hoping you will give up. I didn't. They finally sent me that new remote. Still for the price of the HS720E is a good buy for a fixed camera drone.

Another great video as always, this drone appears to fly great and video is good. So good in fact at about 13:30 you got a great shot of a near miss with what looks like a RC Corsair or Wildcat!
Hi Steve, thank you for the excellent review of the HH720E drone. I have the original HS720 drone that you reviewed 10/2020. The original HS720 is advertised to have image stabilization. The difference between both these HS720 and HS720E is that the hS720E has a new Sony camera. Thank you for supplying a money saving coupon to buy the HS720E for lower cost.
I have wanted a drone for so long and was considering a Mavic Mini 2 but found it hard to justify the $700 plus price tag for the fly more combo especially as I’ve never owned a drone before. Wife got this for my Christmas gift as well. Never had flown or even come close to operating a drone before. Setup was OK, a little nerve racking, but finally got up to trying it out today. In a semi wooded area so just did basic maneuvers and functions. I must admit, it will take more time to be "comfortable" but without having seen your review(s) it would've been a lot worse. Video function is very good as well. Wife was impressed too! Thanks so much for the lesson(s) and I'll be sure to continue watching. For the price, this is a very good drone!

Great video, as always. I have owned hs 720 (without "e"), it's actually very good drone. You done a review of that one also. I sold it over dji mm, main reason was camera (no gimbal). I see that "e" version is much better in stability of video but of course it can't compare with gimbal camera. But for the budget, it's a great drone. I love al the "follow" function that offers and is really a shame for dji mini that doesn't have all that
I just bought the original 2K HS720 based on your great review of that drone. This improved version at this wonderful price is killing me! That tripod mode...wow!!
Awesome Cap! Holy Stone really did a remarkable job with the new version of the HS720 (now HS720E) Apart from its super sleek design, the EIS tech they added to the camera takes it up a notch when it comes to the market of budget drones. The price however, is a bit too high at the moment. Hopefully they’ll lower it down a little and make it much more affordable for those with lower budgets.
I just purchased this one week ago. Now I saw your video and know I made the right choice. BTW, it comes with two batteries. The second one is in the accessory box.
This was a great review. You explained a lot of the features very well and made it very simple to understand. I purchased this drone last week and like it a lot. One issue that I have been experiencing and I am wondering if you had experienced the same issue is the Wifi range. On my phone I am getting about 150m before my phone loses signal with the drone and the Wifi feed stops. Once again, great video.
WIFI range depends on the type of phone (if it has good wifi and where the antennas in the phone are located) and where you fly. Also, if you have a case on the phone, remove it.

First guess was a bird, but after slowing it down I could see it was an RC plane. I'm pretty sure you're right about it being a Corsair. The Mavic Mini is definitely on the top of my list for under 250 grams but after watching some of your videos I almost considering getting a pilot license . Holy Stone HS200 was my first drone and though they don’t actually manufacture their drones, their support is superb. As for this drone, paying almost $300 for a WiFi quad doesn’t make sense. Better to buy the Mavic Mini👍

This review just convinced me to pull the trigger on one of these badboys. Looks great fun to mess about with on a weekend. I had a DJI phantom a few years back and my heart was racing every time as its a lot of money in the air😅
Great drone, I’m very impressed. I wanted a very affordable drone to start. I bought the E58 pocket drone but it is very hard to control. As soon it took off it went away crashing against some bushes at my backyard. I tried it inside my house and it was very inestable, very hard to control. I was hitting every wall. Is it like that when you start flying a drone for the first time or was just me? Thank you!
It’s not supposed to be like that, usually even the first time. I bought a mavic mini (a little more expensive) and first flight was very smooth. No issues no drifting. Drone was steady and hovered perfectly.
Soy Juangui I too tried th E58 first and had the same experience later turned off all the Wi-Fi devices including routers and it flew better. Seems like my environment was a problem.. Outside it did better but not great. I went with Emax tiny hawk 2, seems to be much better. Still considering a camera drone like this one.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I did the test flight this morning and I am super impressed. It was a little windy but the camera was rock solid. I did some videos that turned out OK but I am waiting for the SD card to do 4K. This is for sure my favorite drone.

Same deal, well kinda, mine lost signal during flight and flew away, emailed HS, and replacement drone was at my door three days later, unbelievable
I'm impressed. Holy Stone seems to be leading the budget drone market right now with their quality.

Why would you choose the Holystone over the Mini 2? Mini 2 is better in every way other than the stupid geofencing DJI implements?

@@sueandstudavidson5985 I ended up buying the HS720G, which is basically the same drone just a newer model (2 axis camera, lighter weight, no landing light). But it was very easy to connect and really not that difficult to fly. Certainly was worth the money for me
Another great video as always, this drone appears to fly great and video is good. So good in fact at about 13:30 you got a great shot of a near miss with what looks like a RC Corsair or Wildcat!
Very smooth for a drone with no gimbal! It's surprising! Looks like a good drone for beginner!

A quick tip for any hs720e users. Use manual white balance and it makes the footage look much better. If on auto it tends to look more washed out.

Hi Steve, thank you for the excellent review of the HH720E drone. I have the original HS720 drone that you reviewed 10/2020. The original HS720 is advertised to have image stabilization. The difference between both these HS720 and HS720E is that the hS720E has a new Sony camera. Thank you for supplying a money saving coupon to buy the HS720E for lower cost.
I have wanted a drone for so long and was considering a Mavic Mini 2 but found it hard to justify the $700 plus price tag for the fly more combo especially as I’ve never owned a drone before. I just picked one of these up for $287 CDN, It was on sale and I had a $20 Amazon gift voucher. I’m pretty excited for when it arrives in a couple of days. Now need to study for my license lol.

Wife got this for my Christmas gift as well. Never had flown or even come close to operating a drone before. Setup was OK, a little nerve racking, but finally got up to trying it out today. In a semi wooded area so just did basic maneuvers and functions. I must admit, it will take more time to be "comfortable" but without having seen your review(s) it would've been a lot worse. Video function is very good as well. Wife was impressed too! Thanks so much for the lesson(s) and I'll be sure to continue watching. For the price, this is a very good drone!

Great video, as always. I have owned hs 720 (without "e"), it's actually very good drone. You done a review of that one also. I sold it over dji mm, main reason was camera (no gimbal). I see that "e" version is much better in stability of video but of course it can't compare with gimbal camera. But for the budget, it's a great drone. I love al the "follow" function that offers and is really a shame for dji mini that doesn't have all that

I'm impressed with this. I have a holystone 270 with no image stabilizer and the video doesn't look at as good as this at all. I'm jealous!

Awesome Cap! Holy Stone really did a remarkable job with the new version of the HS720 (now HS720E) Apart from its super sleek design, the EIS tech they added to the camera takes it up a notch when it comes to the market of budget drones. The price however, is a bit too high at the moment. Hopefully they’ll lower it down a little and make it much more affordable for those with lower budgets.

This was a great review. You explained a lot of the features very well and made it very simple to understand. I purchased this drone last week and like it a lot. One issue that I have been experiencing and I am wondering if you had experienced the same issue is the Wifi range. On my phone I am getting about 150m before my phone loses signal with the drone and the Wifi feed stops. Once again, great video.
WIFI range depends on the type of phone (if it has good wifi and where the antennas in the phone are located) and where you fly. Also, if you have a case on the phone, remove it.

First guess was a bird, but after slowing it down I could see it was an RC plane. I'm pretty sure you're right about it being a Corsair. Great review . I've watched a lot of your videos and am very impressed with your detailed reviews. I am looking for my first Drone . The Mavic Mini is definitely on the top of my list for under 250 grams but after watching some of your videos I almost considering getting a pilot license . A drone like the holy stone above would be cheaper than the Mini . My main use would be still photos.Any recommendations. Thanks again for the great reviews.

Holy Stone HS200 was my first drone and though they don’t actually manufacture their drones, their support is superb. As for this drone, paying almost $300 for a WiFi quad doesn’t make sense. Better to buy the Mavic Mini👍

This review just convinced me to pull the trigger on one of these badboys. Looks great fun to mess about with on a weekend. I had a DJI phantom a few years back and my heart was racing every time as its a lot of money in the air😅
Great drone, I’m very impressed. I wanted a very affordable drone to start. I bought the E58 pocket drone but it is very hard to control. As soon it took off it went away crashing against some bushes at my backyard. I tried it inside my house and it was very inestable, very hard to control. I was hitting every wall. Is it like that when you start flying a drone for the first time or was just me? Thank you!
It’s not supposed to be like that, usually even the first time. I bought a mavic mini (a little more expensive) and first flight was very smooth. No issues no drifting. Drone was steady and hovered perfectly.
Soy Juangui I too tried th E58 first and had the same experience later turned off all the Wi-Fi devices including routers and it flew better. Seems like my environment was a problem.. Outside it did better but not great. I went with Emax tiny hawk 2, seems to be much better. Still considering a camera drone like this one.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I did the test flight this morning and I am super impressed. It was a little windy but the camera was rock solid. I did some videos that turned out OK but I am waiting for the SD card to do 4K. This is for sure my favorite drone.
