Back in the 80’s my mom started decorating with more of a country style (I guess today it’s called primitive)but our family room was decorated with all the 70s decor my mom couldn’t part with, which were her owls. These owls take my back to that family room. Now you just need a macrame owl.
Hi becky.the collection looks beautiful. May I suggest… to put at least one screw under. I do that in my shelves just for extra security. Even when I hang shelves that are not in the stud for extra security, you don’t see it but there is movement in inert objects. Just my scientific thoughts. Even if screws are little. Blessings

Awe, I’m sorry about your owl mishap! I , too collect owls. Somehow I started around Covid…. I read somewhere they are good luck charms and protectors of your home so I weirdly got obsessed with them. Mine are all dispersed around the house, all different kinds in every room. By now I lost count so now I’m a bit more discriminating in what I buy. They are great for fall decor so that’s when I group mine together.The large one you recently bought reminds me of Boobo from the original Clash of the Titans movie. I found a lot of mine at antique stores, I am not familiar with what places are in Sampson County though. They are usually easier to find during the fall. I would check some home stores like HomeGoods and Marshall’s also but antique stores almost always have a little owl hiding out.

I have seen a few macrame owls at antique stores but the one thing I don't have is wall space. I have so many photographs up.
