As a frequent user of AirBnb and a host, your experience really upsets me. Those deceitful places need to be shut down. Can you imagine if that were your first experience with the site? You'd never go back and it damages the reputations of the rest of us good hosts. Glad you had friends you could count on.

Right! I love Airbnb. I've stayed in the best homes for a little of nothing but when I did experience a bad one, Airbnb made sure I was moved to another location free of charge.
I can't keep up with you guys travels.
When i think i finally know where you are, you guys are like NOPE we are at the other side of the ocean.
They film their travels and post them months later and spaced out as to not bored us(?). Not sure why, maybe they don't edit as fast as most youtubers.

I had a similar Airbnb experience in Lyon! ! The place hadn't been cleaned... It was laden with flies, there wasn't a window to let in fresh air, the bed sheets and towels hadn't been changed in months... We found the nearest Maccy d's to assess our situation, huzzah free wifi

Oh my gosh that's so scary. I've sort of been in this situation before in Chicago but the woman actually admitted to following us because she wanted a friend and to make up for scaring us, she bought us Starbucks. lol. But the scariest part was that we met her at the Hilton hotel. Whaaaaat??? Don't go to hotels people.

My family had the exact same experience here in Santiago, Chile.. We moved apartment because the previous owner of the AirBnB decided to move back into her place. We found a nice looking apartment, the pictures made it look nice, big enough for 4 people. We got there and it was a mess. Pots and pans were still greasy from previous use, one bathroom wasn't working, and not mention that there were 3 beds instead of the 4 we requested. Moved out as quick as we could from that mess ahahahah

I AirBnB'd a couple times and THANKS GOD never had any kind of problems. The hosts and the places I stayed was amazing. I feel so bad for this experience you went through guys :/ - But, travelers are up to everything and everything can happen! hahaha Love you baes :) ❤️

To live in la it's best to look for a inside the city apartment.The apartments in the tiny neighborhoods in LA are no so nice.I have experience Bc I've been living in LA my whole life.

Lol, i moved to LA at the same time. But now I'm back in NYC couldn't take it there.
The heat in the summer, the people are ok its just so big and hard to really meet real people there. NYC is so much better all around & people are very helpful here.
High school is free here unless you are looking for private schools. But I'm not sure about that I grew up in Virginia.

I've never used AirBnB, but I think I will because they gave you a full refund after a bad experience. That's amazing customer service.

One, air bnb ppl know that their property is being reviewed. If a host is comfortable enough to provide you with a filthy, disgusting bathroom while gladly taking your hard earned/ hard-saved money, well then they are comfortable with knowing they stepped wayyyy out of boundaries and can receive "an accurate review" or at least a report to airbnb.
A host may not be able to control how new their house is but they can definitely control the cleanliness. There's no excuse for that to say the least.
Having said all of that, why am I glad you guys escaped NYC and those ridiculous rents. LA's weather is perfect and I look forward to seeing your vids from there now. :-D
