I don't own any standing mixer or thermomix. I am looking to buy but I am confused which one. Shall I buy kitchen aid artisan standing mixer or thermomix? I aant to make homemade pasta, bake cakes once a month. Bake bread 2 times a month. And pizza 2 times a month.
I understand your pain. It is really hard to find Thermomix demonstrations that give you all the information you need. And she also did not say that you need to mix the dough on the 37 degree setting
Marilyn N why did you Feel the need to put a negative spin on things? Happy for you if you feel that your mixer does the same thing but what does it really matter. The people that buy the Thermomix, do so because it can also heat and do other things that a mixer can’t. I have to admit to hardly ever using my stand mixer as opposed to a handheld electric whisk, when given the choice, but none of that is really relevant. We all have our own likes and dislikes so no need to come on here being negative. Instead choose a site with recipes that work with the mixer that you have.
Marilyn N I would say that you must have used a Thermomix at some point to make this assumption, but then again if you had used one i imagine that you wouldn’t think it was overrated. My family (all who i regard as amazing cooks) and I each made hot Cross buns this Easter, two of them by hand, one with a stand mixer and myself with the Thermomix, ours were definitely amazing but none of my other family members ever want to make them again because the store bought ones are way better than what they produced. It doesn’t matter to me whether you like Thermomix or not, the problem is when you troll sites dedicated to Thermomix To make negative comments (unless you have used a Thermomix and been unhappy with it). I’ve made this focaccia and it was equal to any store bought bread I’ve tried. My son can’t get enough of it and keeps requesting me to make it.
@Marilyn N Hi Marilyn, thanks for commenting. You're absolutely right, there are definitely cheaper machines for making bread. But I like to think of it this way: there are cheaper ways of making phone calls than buying an $800 smartphone. But with your smartphone there's the camera and the satnav and the MP3 player and the games console and the flashlight and the mini-TV and the calculator and and and.... You get the idea! So the Thermomix not only does the job of the stand mixer but the magimix and the nutribullet and the stick blender and the slow cooker and the 'sous vide' stick and the coffee grinder and the cocktail ice-crusher and and and... I like to think of it as the iPhone of the kitchen. Not for everyone, of course, but I hope these videos (there are more on the way) will show some of its versatility.
Thank you for this! I will make it soon 👍🤗
How long does this take to rise approx?
no tienen ni idea , porque mezclan la sal con la levadura , algo que todos los panaderos no recomiendan , por mas levadura que pongas , asi no se hace

220 deg Celsius or Fahrenheit?
Hi Lillie. Celsius. Sorry if I didn’t specify, but if it comes up again all my temperatures are Celsius
@@barkplacekitchen3468 Thank you. I'll take note of that.
@@barkplacekitchen3468 Your oven sounded fan forced in the video. Was it?
Very inspiring - thanks.
Good too find you here at TH-cam 👍🏻

@@zacstory2017 because I want people to know that it is overrated and overpriced. I'm sharing my opinion, what is it to you?
