    I'm normally a bit of an old school traditionalist with cars/bikes ( & still prefer the shiny chrome door handles), but I do like the shaved look you've achieved. Keep up the great work on the HX, I'm enjoying watching your journey 👍

    The deleted door handles and key locks looks great!!
    I would of liked to see you flush mount the push button mechanism (but that’s my preference)!!
    Great build so far looking forward to seeing it finished!

      Thanks Mate. Seems to be a mixed bag of likes and dislikes. I might make up a diffferent flush mount button and see how that looks and functions. Thanks for watching.

    Why not contour your push button to the shape of the door to give it that flush/smooth look

    • @shillosspeedfactory1642
      @shillosspeedfactory1642 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      He still can. Would look awesome flush. Wouldn’t be hard to alter it

    • @ShenkeGarage
      @ShenkeGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I was thinking of doing that but I think it might be awkward pressing it into the door. I can still make a button up and see what its like. They screw on so can interchange.

  • @1tarbaby1
    @1tarbaby1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    love the idea of the button opener, the ejector spring could be a little heavier and the door hinges not so seized and all would be good , no need to weld any thing in.
    keep up the cool work, as you are giving me ideas for my future project.

    Awesome video again mate, keep them coming with as much detail as you can it's the small things along the way that matter, I am using a lot of stuff you are sharing on my HZ styleside rebuild and you have saved me on a few traps along the way, even the small thing of the electric pump position is worth knowing, look forward to every update and detail.. Cheers..

    Another awesome video
    Its just looking so good nothing over the top just some nice subtle mods and pracital engineered solutions . I dont mean to be a keyboard warrior its just a freindly suggestion but could perhaps grind the button flush with contours of the door or just proud enough to actuate smoothly its an awesome set-up its just with the button the way itis its not very subtle. Well there ya go ive had my rant lmao
