I did a lot of research when it came time to sign up for Medicare, and I found Matthew's videos far more helpful than any other source I investigated, both online as well as conversations directly with agents.
Thank you for all that you do for the Medicare community. You are an expert in making this important and sometimes confusing information easy to understand. I had never heard about a Recovery Care policy, will check it out.
I am always more than pleased with the detailed information you give on Original Medicare, Supplemental plans, Advantage Plans and so much more. I especially liked the added information on having your own DVH policy. Thank you, Matthew and may God continue to bless you and Medigap Seminars
My wife and I have been on traditional Medicare with a supplement for several years. This is the first time I've heard about a "Recovery Care policy." Sounds like an interesting option if it is available in NH to provide limited long term benefits. Thanks for the video I will follow up.
Hi Matthew, I also have never heard of the expression "Medicaid Divorce". Sounds a drastic measure. Also not heard of a recovery care policy. I need something since LTC is a gap in my insurances. Will contact. Thank you for your information as usual!
I have been considering becoming an expat and am glad to know that Matthew Claussen and Medigap Seminars can perhaps help me with my health insurance needs outside the U.S.
So is a Glaucoma recheck appointment fully covered just on Medicare without deductions, or do I need another insurance plan to go along with it. Plus how do I know if my doctor is in the Medicare network, can’t get any answers from Medicare except a run around. I read that Advantage plans are a waste and many people don’t like them. We pay 175 every month and all I’m told is that they barely cover anything, RX drugs, eyewear, dentist, etc. How is that justified? Thank you if you can answer any of these questions.
98% of non pediatrician doctors accept Original Medicare. I suggest you start your research here: th-cam.com/video/gdOR0c1opyg/w-d-xo.html Look up your doctors here: www.medicare.gov/care-compare/
Question, I turn 65 late 2025, I am American citizen living abroad, China. I do have a US address, it's not my home, it's my sons home. I use this address to receive mail and for my US drivers license. I have US bank account where I am receiving my SS benefits. How does this effect my Medicare and Medigap Plans. I am not looking for information about using any coverage here in China, healthcare here is very inexpensive. Looking for information to as will this complicate signing up and complicate my coverage in the US if needed.

@@MedigapSeminars thank you!
Very informative! Does your company offer the different types of long term care plans you spoke of in this video?
We offer Recovery Care and Living Benefit Life Insurance. We do not work directly with LTC (asset based and premium based).
@@MedigapSeminars Thank you for the prompt response! I'll be calling you in a few days because I will be 65 later this year. Thank you!!!

Never heard of medicaid divorce. Do you offer long term care policies?
We offer short-term care / Recovery Care and LTC attached to life insurance (most stable LTC policies)
