    You and your company are my rock! I am so glad I did the research (watching all your videos, taking notes etc) and went with your company. It is such a stress reliever to know that I am covered and can afford my health care. Thank you Matthew 🙏

    I will be turning 65 in early January and have been watching most of your videos. I probably already know which plan I am going with but I guess I have to wait until a few weeks before I turn 65 to apply. My husband went through Medigap Seminars for his supplement.

    Thank you for your dedication in helping us to make the best decisions. For all the information I have listened to can you address blood labs. How are they covered?

    • @MedigapSeminars
      @MedigapSeminars  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi - Lab work fir diagnostic testing is covered under Medicare Part B see Clinical Lab work here: medigapseminars.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2024-Part-APart-B-IRMAA.pdf However, there is an issue with preventive care lab work. Preventive care is covered under a schedule i.e. once every 12 months or every two years etc. you will find that schedule here: medigapseminars.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Guide-To-Medicares-Preventive-Services.pdf and in your mymedicare.gov account. If a doctor prescribes lab blood work for preventive care and you are not due for that preventive care test, you will pay for it 100%.

    Thank you in advance . I’m finding your videos to be very informative. I’ll be switching from a large corporation retiree (severed) medical insurance benefit to Medicare early next year. Even with the benefit, our medical insurance has become very expensive. I’m weighing straight Medicare v Advantage plans. We are snow birds between FL and MN. Is it true that the home network can be switched with our south to north migration? Again, thanks much!!

      Medicare is a subset of Social Security. As such, you need your Medicare plans to be based on the address from which you vote and pay taxes. If you travel from FL to MN, you definately do not want an Advantage plan. Advantage plans are local coverage. A supplement is national coverage. Plan N should be the obvious choice for most people.

    Best option between issue age vs attained age vs community pricing? For Hawaii do you represent Transamerica Insurance? Thank you.

      @@Alfred8277 no, I will never ever sell a Transamerica plan. I know that company too well.

    Thank you for all that you do.
    I reside in CA on SSDI and only 59 my supplement premium for 2025 is $347. Why so high?

    • @MedigapSeminars
      @MedigapSeminars  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mmirafuentess1990 two reasons combined. First is Medicare supplements for those under 65 is directed by state law. Most states do not have Medicare supplement plans under 65. California does but there’s no regulation on price. Insurance companies don’t want to sell Medicare insurance to people under 65. On disability. So the prices are jacked up.
      When you turn 65 you will have another new initial enrollment. And can get plans at a reasonable price.

      @ Thank you so much. I really appreciate your answer.
      The agent spent less than 8 minutes with me.
