Tell that to the Bloody Crow. Granted, he too isn’t immune to the visceral attack, but I had to use the cheapest, most-underhanded methods to beat him. Of course, not like he really fought fairly either.
Not for me, my previous instincts from Demon's Souls served me well and translated to Bloodborne pretty quickly. Even though I *did* make use a Shield (by endgame my main "loadout" was the Northern Regalia sword & a Shield), my main play-style involved having more focus on evasion and only resorting to my Shield if I *couldn't* evade an incoming hit, particularly since I started as a Royal so I had access to Soul Arrow from the start (IMO, Royal is the "strongest" starting class in Demon's Souls since it's basically a Knight with access to an offensive magic spell as a ranged option). Probably also helped that False King Allant puts you into a position where you *can't* just constantly rely on your Shield since he has a grab move that *permanently drains one of your Soul Levels* from you & does a lot of damage if he lands it, so his fight highly encourages a more agile and evasive playstyle if you are trying to face him one-on-one (summoning a Phantom or two certainly helps, but he's no less deadly even then and it's not uncommon to see one or both such Phantoms get killed by him during the fight....though I personally took him out by myself and it's why False King Allant is my favorite boss in all of Demon's Souls, very challenging but also very fun and fair)!

best way against BSB: before entering, near the stairs there is a bell to call the hunter Alfred to join you. But i use both the Whirlgig saw and the boomhammer. Dodging is the big thing.
No they don't, every third (iirc) watcher will spawn and immediately begin fighting the other two, while he doesn't necessarily help you, due to his low health pool and spawn rate, he doesn't come "straight for your ass" as you're implying.
Honestly these are the 3 greatest intro bosses in all of soulsbourne. 1) Cleric Beast: this boss teaches the player about sticking to the butt of beast type monsters and dodge timing. 2) Father Gascoigne: teaches the player about hunter on hunter battles and forces them to adapt to bloodbourne's new fast combat style or get absolutely wrecked. 3: Blood-starved Beast: Teaches the player about beast fights with a faster beast and parrying with using items i.e. the fire paper and the antidote.
That's probably a creative choice of the developer. Make you panic at your sight and fight attempts with how hulking the bosses are, how hideous some of them look, and how initially intimidating their movesets can be. But once you get past the panic and just focus on what a boss can do and when can you land attack without getting punished (too hard), you realize it's not so bad. Gotta love thoughtful game designs.
Now I realized, that I accidentally skipped Cleric beast, because my first boss was Father Gascoigne. Well, somebody needs to go back and cut through familiar set of enemies for 115th time.

"One thing I've learned from Dark Souls...-" *Gets hit*
Sums up Bloodborne in a nutshell.
For his neutral special, he wields a 2:55
0:34 Not if Reindeer Manus has anything to say about that!
best way against BSB: before entering, near the stairs there is a bell to call the hunter Alfred to join you. But i use both the Whirlgig saw and the boomhammer. Dodging is the big thing.
"One thing i learned in Dark Souls . . ."
Cleric Beast:(slaps in the face) this is bloodborne!
I do love dark Souls 3 but it can not touch the FEROCIOUS battles of BLOODBOURNE.
that's totally incorrect.
Cobalt Blue all the watchers can come straight for your ass lol what are you even saying
No they don't, every third (iirc) watcher will spawn and immediately begin fighting the other two, while he doesn't necessarily help you, due to his low health pool and spawn rate, he doesn't come "straight for your ass" as you're implying.
Deftones 26 the bloodborn boss fights cannot be beat
@@goodhoonter9882 I beat them shitloads wdym
Honestly these are the 3 greatest intro bosses in all of soulsbourne.
1) Cleric Beast: this boss teaches the player about sticking to the butt of beast type monsters and dodge timing.
2) Father Gascoigne: teaches the player about hunter on hunter battles and forces them to adapt to bloodbourne's new fast combat style or get absolutely wrecked.
3: Blood-starved Beast: Teaches the player about beast fights with a faster beast and parrying with using items i.e. the fire paper and the antidote.
The biggest secret to defeating bosses is don't panic which is hard in bloodborne cause the bosses are colossal n 2 master their move set
Gascoigne+tiny music box+molotov= cheesy boss
"What is that?" @every boss in this game
Now I realized, that I accidentally skipped Cleric beast, because my first boss was Father Gascoigne. Well, somebody needs to go back and cut through familiar set of enemies for 115th time.
I really recommend GenerationHollow his channel. He does amazing videos on the souls/bloodborne series. They are blind playthroughs and he has perfect commentary and gameplay. Please go check him out, he deserves more subs!
couldn't agree more
That's your opinion
Hollow is who got me into soulborne games. He also got me into Hollow Knight. He impresses me and watching him do the fights and how he narrates the strategy he's using got me through many tough walls. I adore him really.
@@peppersalt319 yeah no shit. Whats your point?
Recuerdo cuando estos jefes eran súper complicados para mí, y ahora me parecen súper fáciles XD
Gascoin * “what’s that smell?”
Streamer * “dunno probably me shittin my pants”
I had absolutely no trouble with the first 2, I even found Amelia easier than the Blood-starved Beast. I just couldn't read its attacks and had like 15 fights before finally hunt it.
Cleric Beast has always been my favorite boss....
The kirkshammer was so damm useful against father Gascoigne since the hammer attacks stun locks him
I showed this to my dog....he turned into a cleric beast
