absolutely love this video, ray just does everything so fluidly, and all his movements are so perfect and precise! He has to be one of the best drummers of the current time, he's so creative and methodic in his art, it's just fun to listen to! =D
Ray Luzier is up there with Terry Bozzio. He is doing a drumset workshop on Nov 8, 2008 in Austin TX as part of the Percussive Arts Society International Drum Convention. Truly an amazing drummer, and I am so THERE....since I live in Austin !!
I saw him with korn. And before that concert I had never heard about him. and when i heard that joey didn't play for them any more i was pissed! but when he started to play he blew my head off! he played so insane great and i got one of his drumsticks :D 5 stars offcourse!
Anyone who says Ray's drumming is inferior to David's drumming must have never heard Ray slay like this, or David try playing his own fills at Family Values and fail miserably.
I will tell you why he is playing ddrum...I have played on both of their acrylics and wood drums and they sound awsome...ddrum is really getting alot of big time drummers on their roster now...

he switched to ddrums because they offered him much bigger support for clinics all over the world, he told me that. it is not about paying money to him, it is about the variety of options that he needs to do clinics all over the globe withou troubles like getting the kit everywhere in the world.
This Is Luzier jamming to his incredible solo from when he was in "Army of Anyone". I don't wan't to say anything bad about his light sounding triggered bass drum sound, because he can eat me alive, but I notice it. The kid can still REALLY play. Clean up the bass drums and he'll be a god.

I went to school with Ray. I graduated in '86. We were both in band together on the drumline.

I'm not really a drummer...But if you can't pick something up off Ray's solo here you're simply not trying hard enough

not possible ray is the drummer of the KoRn tour 2009. Im going to see them in 2 weeks and at the same evening also slipknot plays at the festival.
