    Wow, just wow. Absolutely impressive. It's like you were there with the engineers when they were building it up.

    What you'are doing is impressive, keep going, I saw a lot of video card repairs on youtube but yours are far the best of them :) I would like to see more laptop GPU repairs, like multiGPU laptops or integrated GPUs repair vids if it possible.

    This is really nice fault finding, congratulation. I would not expect it was the gpu fault on this problem. Thank you for sharing the solution.

    Happy to see new type of GPUs on the channel. I would like to see laptop dedicated GPUs, integrated in motherboards as well. It is an interesting subject.
    Great job as always!

    When the edge of the gpu gets broken, will it work fine or is something going to be affected? I accidentally dropped a tweezer above the gpu chip, i will never work on a gpu without a thermal pad covering it again :D
    (I got a 1mm crack on the outer edge)

    Damn, I liked how repairable that laptop was (socketed CPU, removable GPU). That's definitely how most gaming laptops should be.

    Man, where did you study these things.
    Legendery .
    I searched a lot to get a schematic about a graphic card, failed.
    But you did these things like a butter smooth.

    • @TechCemetery
      @TechCemetery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Lots and lots of trial and error. Nearly everyone who learns how to fix graphics cards learned it by buying them broken and spending countless hours tinkering with them. You can find schematics on some shady Russian websites, but I don't remember which off the top of my head.

    Congrats for the video it was very educational and didactic. Well, if I could suggest you a repair, I’d suggest reparing a MXM gpu card. I’d really never seen any repair of such cards here in You Tube.

    Great video to watch. Most enjoyable 🤩👍 dude how big is your brain 🧠 with all this knowledge 🤯! It’s great to watch you work. I personally don’t have this level of expertise and would love to learn his stuff. It would be good to have a beginners reference guide and essentials training on this stuff to which you can build upon.

    I have a very similar issue i already suspected gpu but will work just fine like normal pc and on restart it will work but a shutdown will cause a no post and i have to leave it usually overnight to get it to post again my laptop will however not boot loop or produce any beep codes will just show the power lights as on but no post and low draw from bench power only 0.300amps and the gpu get warm after some time and cpu is cold with 0 power im assuming in the check the gpu was checked before cpu and halted when detecting the fault thats just a guess tho not overly sure

    Nice video although I'm a bit tired of laptops because that's what most of these repair channels do, repair laptops or repair phones because there are a lot of them. It's true these channels very rarely repair _gaming_ laptops.
    I like desktop motherboards, they're are the most complicated in my opinion with bunch of voltage rails, SIO chip, PCH.

    • @TechCemetery
      @TechCemetery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep, I plan to eventually cover desktop motherboards, but am not yet ready.

    you maybe can help me, ive got a non working GTX1070 Windforce
    now i have understanding of electronics and i found out that the uP9511 enable pin is shorted, meaning that the double n channel component gets no Enable signal for one of the gates (the signal that shorts the signal that shorts enable you said in the past)
    now i want to check the AND gate to see if there is voltage on both inputs and my issue is that i CANT find any component that looks like the AND GATE (SOT 25 package) and the traces that go out from the gate pin are just to hard to trace out at some point

    Hi.. can you help me with a concern.. My Alienware Area 51m laptop works slow while charging. But when I use the laptop without the chargers. It works fine. Initially I thought it might be due to faulty battery, so I removed the battery and booted up the laptop with chargers only, but its still the same.. Its very slow.
    Do you know what might be causing this. I asked the dell service center about this. They said it might be an issue with the motherboard and will need a replacement which will cost me $1400.. That's too much.
    Can you please help me with this?

    This is the same problem that I have on my gtx1070. So the culprit is the memory controller . Working fine when it post but if I shut down thats it. And I can get it working after 24hours 😂.

    20 minutes isn't ridiculously long at all for this genre of video. Explaining things thoroughly is more important than the timer. Anybody can throw up a "Hey I fixed it!" brag video. This isn't social media, this is educational material. BTW, if you were to become a teacher someday, you'd be amazing at it.
