      I experienced a strange relaxed feeling on my throat and somehow loved my short vocals/ song better than before. Thanks.

    Good day Katalina? Thanks for the video, i am blessed with the silent warm up tips. I always feel some pains on my throat after doing the 7 mins vocal warm ups just before starting to record vocals in my bedroom studio, i believe your teaching will help me greatly
    Stay blessed.

    You have a wonderful gift of teaching! Thank you so much,! I have a very important singing opportunity that I can not deny. Only problem is I've been out of practice for over a year. I feel super nervous and certainly don't want to disappoint my friend. He once played in a cover band with me and then decided to move away to Nashville for a song writing career. I once said to me that the day will come when he needs me to perform on his Album bc I am his favorite female artist he's worked with. So .... 2022 he was awarded with an EMMY AWARD! I am so proud of him and absolutely honored for the opportunity. I've been struggling with my singing due to some illness and feel completely weak. I never experienced a time when I couldn't get up at any time and belt like a beast! Unfortunately my strength is compromised and it's causing me to feel insecure. I came across your videos in desperate search of some help with strengthening and I'm so grateful. You have explained everything so clearly. I instantly noticed a difference in my vocals with the 1st video I watched! Thank you so very much for sharing you knowledge!

      Hi and thank you for sharing your voice story! And thank you for your kind words. Your feelings are absolutely normal! Especially, when you are doing it for your friend. But I bet you can do it with some practice and with some changes to your internal dialogue. I just watched you on your channel. I understand why your friend wants you on his album. So, I suggest that you start going back to singing little by little every day. The first few days may be challenging, don't overdo it though. Get back slowly and gradually. Also, add some "mind" exercises to your regular routine to boost your confidence (for example, visualization, affirmations etc.). It's ok to feel nervous but you've done this before and you can do it again.
      If you have any questions, let me know.

      Maybe deeper voice means more relaxed larynx with a lower position. That is great!

    I love your vids Katarina. This one did help me but I had a problem with the background music. Interesting that whilst it was playing you suggested we listen to all kinds of things but you didn't mention the music at all. Yet that was the most prominent sound. For me, the music was distracting and annoying. It was the same during the breathing exercise. I am a musician so maybe that is why - because I have trained my brain to listen to music rather than to ignore it. I wonder whether others of your viewers found the same thing. Anyway, as I said, your vids are great. Thank you for posting them.

      Talk to your parents. Don't worry. You are not alone in this. Your parents can take you to see a doctor who can answer your questions.

    Great!!!! How many times a day do we do this... beside humming and lip trills, , to contain a steady voice

    • @healthyvoicetips
      @healthyvoicetips  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a warm up so once a day but you can certainly do these exercises more often if they have benefits for your voice.

      If the pain was not there before, then stop. As I said in the video, do it only if it feels good for you.

    • @healthyvoicetips

      I hope you really don't expect any conclusions based on one sentence. Pain can mean many things. I would go and speak to an ENT who can actually assess you properly.
