@@h.nguyen4193 yeah that is a separate world record for car drivers/passengers. As of October 2021, the overall record is 25 hours 39 minutes, with an average speed of 110 miles per hour (177 km/h), driven by Arne Toman and Doug Tabbutt. Insane this guy did it himself, holding onto a motorcycle, not using cruise ctrl, for 24hrs, at 106mph on avg. the cannonball run is still pretty cool though. the driver/passenger teamwork is what makes that race interesting (to me).

He was on Porsche's closed test track specifically designed for high speeds. It's a big circle. No turns, no traffic, meticulously maintained. Get it in gear and hold the throttle until you run out of gas, then pit and repeat.

I personally did about 1000km's in 12 hours. Post the ride I was sore all over and slept for 2 days straight. This is a marvelous achievement hats off to the team and the rider. No offense to Triumph, awesome comeback from a legendary company! Brilliant bike, awesome company, great rider, but I would have used a Goldwing for this, it makes much more sense, and would have *crushed* the record, not just beaten it. The Goldwing would easily, without a sweat handle this kind of challenge, in rain, cold, any condition and it could have done it at a much higher speed, in much more comfort...hell I may try to do 24 hours @ 125mph(max speed of Goldwing is about 140-145mph) on one, you've inspired me =) EDIT- it might be possible that the minimal layers of discomfort allowed him to finish this effort safer than being on a bigger bike, with more power, heated grips, seats, and multimedia distractions...Honda, I see your challenge!
