I've been following your channel for awhile. I love that they are honoring the warranty. I have been looking at a 23 Rally Explorer and I did not realize it comes with a 3 year unlimited milage warranty. I love they paid for the towing too.

Yes - until today I`m covered by this warranty, but I must mention: The fact that I didn't pay for towing is not warranty coverage, but good will of the amazing Triumph dealerships! happened to me again in India!

Fantastic review! Thank you ♥️. I test rode the GT and loved it. I will try the Rally Pro now and make a decision. So far your review is the seal for me. Best

Thanks for the update. Great honest review for an interesting bike i would assume....
I really do hope the Triumph guys follow your channel.....they can learn a lot from this free 70 000km "test ride"
Had a KTM 990 Adventure R myself to tour the dusty roads of southern Africa. Would love to have a Tiger 1200 Explorer as an all rounder , but it seems Triumph themselves dont trust their bikes in dusty Africa. In the entire southern Africa continent there are only 2 Triumph dealers and 2 approved sub-service agents i was told. It seems the mighty Tiger Range is not tough enough for African dusty conditions and meant only for the smooth and green tar roads....what a pitty

Thank you! I cannot comment on the triumph/africa situation, but I can assure you Triumph UK and Germany are watching my reviews and working on the improvements! Anytime I had a country related problem with my bike, I got great help from both of them! They do care about their customers! Cheers from Laos, Jörg

Hi Jorg, Brilliant vlog. I totally agree with you on the dashboard. when i had the 900 GT Pro it had all that information on screen except for the mileage. on the new 900 models they have used the same dash as the 1200 GT Pro and Explorer a step backwards if you ask me. OK after owning the 1200 GT PRO for a while you know where to find them but no option to see them on the same screen.
Good to know that 70,000km or 43,495 miles the bike still continues to be like newish. considering the terrain and weather i think what has been spent on the bike thankfully under warranty for the most part is good. i only have 1,700 miles on mine, so a fair while before i get to your mileage. safe journey Jorg.

For me i always have my phone connected for calls and music, I connect my garmin to my cardio edge headset then connect my bike to the cardo and it just works every time i get on the bike it all connects fine. Now as for the triumph app the nav part is garbage although the phone and music connect the app will almost always say no connection lol, I think the dash set up your spot on its such a missed opportunity I would like to have seen odo, temp and voltage on the screen they could even have used the lines at the side of the gauge it almost looks like they put them there to use but never set it up or even give an option for the rider to customise the screen, as for apple car play and android auto I would love to see this but google has dropped motorcycle support for some reason its also why the new harleys dont have android auto support real oversight on googles part id say, but yeh love my tiger 1200 GT explorer but the screen needs work :) great review vid though :) also have you noticed on the latest update the cruise control set speed now only shows if you are on the main screen not if you open any of the menus not sure how they messed that one up ?

Yes, this gentleman has the right things to say about this bike.
The cockpit and dash screen are the worst parts of this bike. Neither is really made in any way that would be appropriate for an adventure motorcycle.
There really is no place for a navigator in the cockpit. However, if the dash screen supported modern connections, i.e. Android Auto or Carplay, then the situation would be much better. And in that case, the screen could be placed a little higher.
It is strange to me that the permanent indicator lights, those that concern the engine, ABS, suspension, various lights, why are they placed on the screen, while there is a very wide frame around the screen? You could put dozens of these lights there... Currently, for example, the fog light indicator can be found in six different places in different menus! Worms game?
And of course the menu on the screen - it was definitely made by people who have never ridden an adventure motorcycle...
Since the box under the rear seat with the USB connector is relatively pointless, I took the USB connector out of the box, made a waterproof connection under the seat and brought the USB connection from under the tank to the handlebars with an extension cord. It has been working very well for over a year.
The lights bother me. If I compare the lights of my old TT12 '18 and the new TT12 '23, the new one has candles in front, not lights.
What's even weirder: the bike has the power of an ox, but accelerating out of tight corners is a very difficult task. It's hard to ride on serpentines with adventure bikes with much smaller engines, you just can't keep up, or if you want to ride in the wind of others, you have to push too hard...
For Jörg I wish a lot of beautiful and safe kilometers!

      @my-global-ride  หลายเดือนก่อน

Interesting! I cannot agree to the light part - mine make the night a day, I´m very happy with them. Your acceleration issue at low rpm should be solved with a software update. Ever since my clutch works perfect, and the Softwareupdate I got in Chile, I love hairpins with this bike so much more. Try that bro! Regards from Goa, Jörg

@@my-global-ride Hi! Regarding the headlights, the previous Tiger had lights with a more yellow spectrum, which were much better in wet conditions and for example in tunnels with walls made of light-absorbing concrete and wet asphalt. The new Tiger's lights has a much bluer color spectrum.
Regarding the update, yes, the last update was made in mid-November, but since we already have snow on the ground, it will now be about five months before I can try the bike again... 😁

2450. I don't mind the milage not being there but I don't like some indicators changing position depending on the display mode.
