Fallout: New Vegas - Just noticed this detail in Primm after 14 years

- Turns out the escaped convicts that roam Primm early game have been keeping an eye on the Vikki & Vance Casino. No doubt waiting to see whether the residents make a move. I've been playing this game since 2010 and I've never seen this little detail before. It's little storytelling elements like this that make me appreciate this game that much more.

Never in my life thought to search up there during my many playthroughs. Just makes me wonder what else I haven't seen.
Probably a lot, these games have a ton of stuff to find.
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
@@MrJakePaddya man what???
Please explain to me bro
@@MrJakePaddy no
You ever seen a grown man naked?
Beagle was hiding there before the Powder Gangers found him
That doesn't make much sense because it's facing towards the casino
Beagle is an idiot.
@@twinzzlers hes not a junkie too
It's not a powder gangers*
@@barrymitchell1488 it is
Some of that classic Fallout Environmental story telling. Clearly someone, probably one of the raiders given the jet and psycho, was using that protected spot to keep an eye on the townsfolk and the NCR across the way.
You mean the sniper who shot the courier coming out of the Mojave Express? That's his vantage point.
@@tactictoeyes, from the guy on the front cover, he snipes you.
@@tactictoe who?
God this game has so much to it
Those damn convicts were staking out primm the whole time!
Real greaseball shit
Patrolling the mojave (almost) makes you wish to explore every inch of the game
I thought patrolling the Mohave (almost) makes you wish for a nuclear winter...
(almost)
Theres a broken bit of fallen roller coaster track that serves as a ramp up there on the northern side
Tgats where i used to get my pair of binoculars before i got the ultimate edition and just started with them good times they’re practically useless but i liked watching the convicts fight the vipers or jakals at the police station from afar
i need to watch things die from a good safe distance
This is the vantage point of whoever shot the courier outside the Mojave express.
Which courier are you talking about? The player character got shot by Benny just outside of goodsprings, right?
@@lyons2577 the dead one out front
@capngibbens6111 Oh, okay. Thanks
Very nice! I've never found that stash before.
"Captain Falcon"
You best be runnin' a pugilist build then, BOAH.
i remember finding it back in 2014 or so, the game has quite a few stashes like that
This is one of my go to spots to loot when I start a play through so I can trade for more ammo
Those clever devils. They were watching the citizens of Primm until the courier put an end to their nonsense.
What a game

Illiterate ass responses
Found that my first playthrough, after going over the roller-coaster lol. But I see your point , each playthrough you always catch something new.
The old prima game guide mentions this and many many more small details across the map.
Prima's official strategy guide. Damn. Because of the Internet, I bet those went the way of the dodo. might be able to find them online, but getting an actual strategy guide is probably out of the question.
I stumbled onto this little lookout stash on my first playthrough, but I'm still not sure about the significance of it.
Would've been an awesome detail if there was a scape convict up there as a watchmen.
I never even knew you could get up there
Brother what
You dont need to parkour down there, if went a bit farther, you could see that there is an entrance leading you up
Yes, to the left of the casino front entrance.
0:04 What mod did you use for distance info?
I believe it's one of the tweaks from IStewieAI's Tweaks. I use almost every mod from Viva New Vegas which includes those tweaks. Would highly recommend that guide if you want a stable vanilla+ New Vegas.
I found it today and now it's in my recommended? HMMMM???
Another possible explanation: The Texas Ranger(Frank Hamer) who ended the crime spree of Bonnie and Clyde had a favorite Colt SAA he called ‘Old Lucky’. It was highly ornate and seems quite similar to the ‘Lucky’ revolver found inside the Bison Steve. Was it someone actually on the lookout for Vickie and Vance?
highly unlikely if we believe what Primm Slim tells us about the couple
@@mavoron [Autism 100] reply. I admire you.
Oh was that him?
I'm sorry. I couldn't get the bi-noc-u-lars out in time!
"It's a shotgun, Sol."
"It's a bloody anti-aircraft gun, Vincent!"
I saw this on my first playthrough and I have used it never again
Yah it’s a pretty small, but cool detail that adds more to the world, and gets you access to some chems early on
You really took the hard way getting there man
The vibe zone
Environment storytelling.
I usually found the binoculars... but I never noticed all the drugs!
Found this the first time; i played, im a explorer maniac
dude you can just go you the tracks on te left instead of going around the building
I never knew that either, (face palm) , thank you , and , PARKOUR!
Bro couple of days ago I found it too
Some say that Big MT was boring to explore. But the place was full of hidden goodies like these!
Did you for real just casually drop the 'Captain Falcon' unarmed build and move on without elaboration
That's the real power move in this video
Gotta love that moody background audio track
I noticed that when I was 14 on ps3
Not trying to be that guy, but I played this game for the first time last month and found it.
But it’s because I’m autistic and have to search literally every jumpable/scalable piece of the game lmao. It pains me to gloss over something, and thrills me to find a cheese
People with 1 in Perception people be like:
Bro is learning how to explore😂
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ahh secret place type
eu encontrei esses dias, estava revirando o jogo até debaixo do mapa pra encontrar segredos
туда с земли можно подняться. Ещё при первом прохождении это место нашёл.
get a load of this guy
I spent more time exploring everythjng in a game so thongs like this i gind on first playthrough cause all my mc are greedy scavangers but still dont take from people who look like they need it
it cant be real...
edit: Its real and i have 1000h in this game and i sent this video to my friend and he replied *yeah i know that*
Лол, я это при первом же прохождении нашел
In that case you did not play the game verry well by not exploring and adventuring around ...
Those binoculars are reference to Ulysses, who was following The Courier throughout the game according to lore.
Quite a stretch lol
@DrClock-il8ij Literally speak to Johnson Nash in the Vicci and Vance Casino.. "lol"
@@fizzman5119 It doesnt matter if Ulysses was watching or not, there's no reason to believe those binoculars are his. Specially with the jet and the powder gangers around.
@@fizzman5119
This is cool I never knew about this. What do they say?
@TorranceRex Johnson Nash Met Ulysses?: Learning About Other Couriers Channel name: FroBro
A video you may watch if interested, there is plenty more dialogue too that Johnson Nash has.
Dev: My game is not done at all. We dont have enough time so we have to cut our game and publish it unplayable... Wow, wait, I forgot to add a beer and jet on a random floor in a game. Its absolutely necessary for my broken and unfinished game.
Fan: WOOOOOW SO MUCH DETAILS ITS SOOOO DEEEP OBSIDIAN ARE LEGENDSSSS
Bro what I noticed it since day one
same lol
nobody gives a fuck get a life
in my first playthrough i entered bison steve through that door, but didn't bother exploring the rest.
Nuh uh
@@Itz_Eco3 um... yuh huh.
Bro what are these texture mods?!🤢🤢
So what you're saying is that it took you fourteen years to do a proper infiltration of the bison steve.
Mediocre.
It was just this year I discovered the Bison Steve had an upstairs area
