honestly i could care less about a new vegas 2. id just like to see a rebooted new vegas with all cut content and all ideas obsidian had implemented.
i heard there was gonna be a Fallout 4: New Vegas that was gonna restore most of the cut content. but i heard there was some kind of falling out with the development team, so...who knows if it'll happen.

you do realize that people responsible for New Vegas would be very hard to resummon in order to reboot New Vegas.
The only reason why we actually got New Vegas and never again anything like it, is from what I've heard the fact, that a lot of people working on Fallout 1 and 2, which I think aren't perfect games, were in the company at that time.
So, it was literally a perfect storm.

But project mohave lets you go to the mohave as part of fo4 story so theres also settlement building and stuff

From what I remember(it's been probably minimum 3 years by now and I lost the means of playing it again) it would be out of his character to spare your life.
It would mean leaving a loose end.
Only with Black Widow perk and Speech checks he can be convinced to spare your life afer being reunited.
@@Gameslord-yk7ssnot only that but ironically Benny even considering slavery is out of character, he's actually similar to house in ideology but a bit more for the people then him. If Benny had won Vegas, I think it's likely Vegas would've joined the NCR with some special rules for Vegas so that Benny could stay on top as that was his main goal
@@Jiub_SNnah, Benny cares for one thing and one thing only, Benny. Mr House at least rewards loyalty, Benny has betrayed every single person he's worked with. Mr House, Swank, the Khans, Emily, the Courier. Once he's done with someone, he tosses them aside like trash. He'd be even less for the people than House.

I’m more interested in me house and his cut content. I mean he’s even less developed then the legion considering he has no companions supporting him and very few people speak about him with only one npc speaking positively about him and that’s swank from the tops. Bring on the strip cut content
Truly, Caesar's Legion and House/Strip are very lacking questline and content wise, it's chalenging to actually level up in the vanilla game by not helping The ncr, and the lack of a companions for each of them is also a huge blow, if only obsidian had more development time

It's a damn shame so much of the Legion content was cut because they are already a very unflushed out faction if there's ever a remaster of Vegas I would love to see all of this back in the game and hopefully some Legion companions like there was supposed to be

@@mcsmash4905 Ulysses was originally designed to be a Legion sympathetic companion but was cut shortly prior to release, and as you saw was repurposed into the character he became in Lonesome Road. Would've been cool to have him as a companion.

@@AnarickTheDevil Not their choice anymore. Microsoft owns both Bethesda, and Obsidian. There's talks of a remaster but we won't see it for a long time.

What bomb? The legion unsealed spent fuel rods housed in the fire station, that is what caused the radiation.

@@roc_cave2107 It's all good. Now that I think about it, I believe the acting commander of the searchlight squad believed that the legion attacked with a radiation bomb. That could be where got that from.
Part of me thinks the slaves only saying "excuse me" works best as it speaks even more to how bad things are for them. Maybe having one or two slaves who would dare to speak to you would work.

I'm guessing that's why these voice lines weren't used, they are all about fairly mundane things and don't really paint a picture of someone suffering under slavery because they hadn't got arround to recording those lines yet. So they only included the “excuse me” line because that paints the right picture. You can definitely see why they made this decision when you look at the comments because a ton of people now think that being a slave of the legion wasn't all that bad. Basically gamers are idiots and you can't trust them to interpret text unless you literally hit them over the head with it.

It's shame that we cannot free slaves after cleaning out Legion camp, it was always bothering me
yeah, right, even in Nuka World DLC you can free all the slaves
It is really bizarre how in the game you can slaughter literally every legionary in the camp and the slaves will act like nothing has happened. I'm betting that freeing the slaves or starting a slave uprising was part of the cut content.
I really do question were they would go though. I mean congratulations, your free, do whatever. They would probably be eaten alive by the Mohave before they even make it to civilization. Don't get me wrong, I hate slavery, don't think it's the right decision here, but just freeing them is death sentence, you'd need to escort them to civilization, get them set up with homes and people to train them in useful skills for everyday life.
They are probably also malnourished, which is very dangerous in a post apocalyptic world.
@@hedgehog3180 would've been cool to see it being one of NCR's main tactic to disrupt the legion, and a nice way to show why maybe slavery isn't that good of an idea even if you don't care about other people suffering
Knowing the Legion they’d probably send the motherload of counterattacks to Caesars fort to investigate and reclaim any lost slaves/soldiers
I’d be reasonably terrified of leaving even after my current handlers are all dead because it’s a vast river and a desert to cross with only rags to my name, I’d bet a chunk of slaves would remain and wait for the next wave of troops for 'help' than burn to death in the heat trying to escape
Imagine how good this game would be if Bethesda allowed Obsidian more than 18 months. They should of given them a few years for a game like this.
Hopefully Microsoft allows obsidian to make a remake or a remaster with all the cut content. It be awesome if you could update your original copy to have all the cut content.

i think the lines about the Khans attacking both sides were probably for the independent New Vegas endings since the courier can become the leader of the Khans
There are two options by which you can get the Khans to fight both the Legion and the NCR at Hoover Dam. One of 'em is indeed the option that comes with becoming Chief of the Khans and picking the "we fight for ourselves" dialogue option when talking to Regis, the other is when you finish Oh My Papa, and pick the "Ghosts and Martyrs" dialogue option

This has been a problem in EVERY Fallout game, you should have been able to join and playthrough the game with The Master, The Enclave, and more

Man that's the one thing that always botherd me about New Vegas was that it never had a post game world like Fallout 3 did, granted Fallout 3 didn't get it until the dlc but still. I hated always having the final quest active and never getting to see the world changed because of my actions after the battle, even after all the dlc's. Breaks my heart even more seeing it was in the works at one point

Dream remake would be Fallout new Vegas with all add-one as base game, and all cut content out back in (let’s actually use the eastern side of the map). Modern updates graphics and maybe some more dlc…. Lol I just love this game

They need to remaster New Vegas with all cut content restored, especially post Hoover Damn battle gameplay and use Fallout 4's engine.
I was always disappointed there wasn't more content for the Legion. Playing the NCR there's quests around every corner for them, Legion there's only a small handful and a few of them are super hidden and the average player would never encounter them. Like handing over a bug that an NCR Sgt wanted you to plant in Cottonwood cove, which then starts unique NCR patrol spawns being ambushed by the Legion because you have the NCR false plans for example. Although one awesome thing about playing Legion is it forces you to use the disguise system constantly. Even going to the main area of the Strip you have to disguise or you get attacked by the MP there. It really creates a feeling of being an enemy agent behind lines.
The wild child and liked dialogue for slaves are in the game and I play on Xbox so no mods
If fallout new Vegas is ever remade I would love if all the cut content was added and more

As much as I despise the Legion as a faction, I still wish they were more fleshed out than what we got in the final version of the game.
Obsidian games, the best since the 90s.
Made me falling in love with Abe’s Odyssey first as a child with all the misterious and fascinating/scary but interesting and fun story and scenes, and then Fallout New Vegas.
It didn’t surprise me to know that it was a Obsidian creation.

Someone should make a mod or combine all of the existing mods that restore content into one making it so they don't have any conflicts and work, we need at least that. I know most of the things that got cut are probably not in the game anymore, but the things that have working dialogue and are possible to do should be implemented.

You do realise that just because something can be put in doesn't mean it always does, sometimes game devs work on something, realise it doesn't work, is counter-intuitive to the design, better alternative etc. Best example of this is probably the cut bunker

These mods are very out dated. I recommend Factions Reloaded Legion, Legion Quests Redone and Nova Arizona - The last one is in Alpha but proves to be more realized than the Arizona mod referenced here

They need to make a remastered or special edition of the game with restored cut content and some new content. Considering how much had to be cut for the Xbox releases it would be cool to finally see the game fully formed.
"Imperium Radio" is also a great mod for a legion radio station.
I hope that Microsoft allows obsidian to re make the game but in its full glory but only if they let the devs get a cut per copy sould in a non mmo classic style of the lone wondering game and also if obsidian want to make it

I’m just going to add that they are not totalitarian but rather authoritarian because the non tribal civilians within their territory get on with their lives as usual so long that they submit and fork over a tithe to the Legion.

@@AllenReyes-t7n to be honest the dev dairies and various interviews. In addition to this, various NPCs (including the merchant at the Legion Camp) comment how safe Legion territory is.
The great kahns one you would have to become the great kahns leader and twll them to fight for their own glory, thats insane this stuff got cut out and the little thing you can do thats HIDDEN behind many prerequisites and they have this ankcoledge it means this game was truly 10x better than what it is now, GIVE BETHESDA MORE HATE for the time restraints
Clearly, the original plan was to continue the game after the second battle at the Dam
But I still have no idea what was meant to be the real end game, maybe they wanted to make it all the way to the capital of both NCR and Legion? Maybe add those regions through a future dlc?

always disappointed me how incomplete the legion was, it's hard to side with them during runs because they just have so few locations/missions, whereas the NCR has a ton of locations, named npcs, and unique quests
@_CrimsoN_ those are really just variations (and fairly minor ones) on already existing quests, the ncr has a bunch of quests/content that can only be done through the ncr, they have a huge presence throughout the movie and far more named npcs to give out quests, they're also spaced out a lot more. the legion only has a few and they're mostly all in the same place

The biggest issue with fallout new Vegas in my opinion is how skewed against the legion the game is. Fallout 3 had bad and neutral karma companions, while in new Vegas, Cass and Rual both may hate the legion less than most but are much closer to neutral. (Also Raul’s quest is tied to NCR characters and Cass in an NCR location).
We need a remake version.

I think if they ever redo new Vegas they have to make it with the same engine they made the first new Vegas with or it just will not be as good. I suggest taking new Vegas and re-releasing it with all of its cut content and adding more content to it , that thing would sell like hotcakes !! I’d spend 120$ on that by itself !! Idgaf I’d spend 200$ if I had to ! I say we start a petition and go fund me for obsidian to rerelease it with all cut content on the same engine !!

It would've been nice to have an Evil mod where you could side with Mortimer and be free to kidnap and then eat a certain Legion Frumentarius in the plain view of Everyone on the strip. Unique awards and multiplier for eating Caesar, in plain view of his guards would've been nice too, like the Terrifying Presence on steroids.
