imo boats should have pressurized canisters that can blow air forward and stop the boat real quick. That story about how the girl got killed after the boat came back to pick her up after she fell off still really bothers me.
That’s a tragic story and no disrespect but you obviously have never owned a boat. Boats in general slow down fast because there is so much surface area of a boat in the water. Small boats like these when your at cruise speed then and switch to neutral gear instantly your body feels the force of slowing down like when ur hitting the brakes at a stop sign. The air tank is not a good idea, the amount of air needed to stop a boat would be seriously high pressure and released instantly if there is any debris, sea muscles it could launch that at the person killing them or even a blast of water could kill them. The key is to captain/driver needs to know what they are doing which involves the safety of everyone onboard and avoiding anyone falling off in the first place.
Hey there! Everyone shown in the videos are wearing properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard approved jackets. If you cannot see them, it's likely because they are wearing a belt-type inflatable life jacket around their waist and are sitting down inside the boat.
Thank you for such a high-quality video with detailed explanations. I can tell that you guys love what you do and this video shows heart!
that's right, rules are there to help, not hurt us!🙂
