Pretty sure even in Strelitzia Stampede Mode you are faster than Tanya’s attacks, and only the powerful ones will actually damage the metal armor. Your only issue is the lack of any ranged attacks, but without ammo they’ll have to eventually get into your optimal attack-range in order to damage you.
As for Tanya smiling, yeah that means she has a trick up her sleeve. The battle is over before it begins, as they say. If you prepared correctly you would likely win any battle, theoretically speaking.

Warning to all who want to watch this anime(No one can blame you), the english sub was heavily rushed & so the translation is wrong at an estimate, 30some % of the time. The dub on the other hand, is surprisingly extremely good. Perhaps even Cowboy Beebop good.
The translation for the subs is so bad that even the word "baka" was translated as "subordinates"...
I'm a subs guy as well. If that adds some more impact to my statements.

The thing i love about your music covers; You make the song your own. The original is very heavy synth, almost to the point of parody, in yours you tone it down , hinting at it but not overdoing it. Not exact translations but you make the song a great english version. I HATE when people say "oh this word doesn't mean this specifically". Well if we did direct translation it would be a wreck of a song! lol.

Agreed I sort of want them to do an English version of the ending song to I keep looking up English version but none of them really seem to work.
As usual listening to the song in English shows how well it fits with the anime. I know the translations aren't exact, otherwise the song wouldn't sound right, but AmaLee always does such a great job. Voracity from Overlord is AMAZING.
I want to love her cover of voracity so much, because the lyrics are amazing. But imo she missed the point of the laugh in the beginning that is my absolute favorite part of the song.
It's supposed to sound angelic, to contrast the sinister lyrics (much like Albedo almost looks angelic but is actually terrible), and that one bit ruins the whole thing for me.
But I get what you mean about how fantastic the lyrics are. I just squirm every time I hear her try that laugh and, imo, fail.

Fun fact: this is what made me watch Saga of Tanya the evil. 10/10 would recommend -- this opening and the lyrics capture the feeling of the anime amazingly well (though it is weird to hear the official version of this song after 20+ listens to this)

There are many points I could say lead me to believe Saga of Tanya the Evil would be a good anime. But the exact moment I knew I was in for a ***fun time*** was near the end of Episode 2: "I doN't NeeD aMMo!" *shivvers*

With a main character who makes logical decisions but can be extremely cruel when he or she thinks he/she has to, like Tanya.
I don't really can think of something like Yojou Senki but if it's just about the MC if you don't know it already how about trying Overlord ?
The MC isn't nearly as cold and calculating as Tanya ( at least not on the inside) but he is a masterful tactician (more than he gives himself credit for) and is extremely cautious because he is kind of paranoid even though he is absolutely overpowered for the world he is in.
Also while he likes to avoid useless fighting or bloodshed he has no qualms murdering people on mass, torturing them in ways that make them whish that they were never born or straight up committing/ordering genocide as long as he sees it as necessary to further his own goals

It's the psych stuff in it. It is not only the "war stuff", it is the drive to be a model employ to gain early retirement, plus the comedy of the characters talking past each other, plus the fact that Tanya has a strong nihilistic F it all side when things screw up that carries her through.
Heh, I really, really, really want to know how Tanya gets on after the war (which IIRC, she is about 13-14 at the end of the southern campaign with hints that in only has 2-3 more years to go). Heck, she can even go out in a blaze of glory if it is done well, but it is all about keeping it in character.

Ethan Miller I just recently started watching I think it's actually pretty good, the first episode can be kinda bland.
Its pretty good, I would recommend it. I think they *just* finished airing the first season, so if you are a dub person the dub won't be happening any time soon.
It is set in a sort of fantasy World War 1 and the main character is working for what is basically the Germans. Its got an even cut of political tension, and action scenes. So if you like Hellsing you might like this.

Season 2 is confirmed and I was rewatching the anime. The original OP is obviously fire, so I came looking for it. Stumbled upon this. This is incredibly good. Is it actually a translation of the original lyrics, or is it your own variation? Either way it's incredibly well done. Usually when translating a song you need to weirdly speed up or slow down lyrics due to longer or shorter words in English compared to the original, and that usually sounds bad. The lyrics in this fit into the beat really nicely, and they still match the mood of the song (assuming it wasn't a direct translation; still not sure about that.) It's nice listening to an English version, because the intense lyrics convey more of the commanding and violent mood of the song than I get when I can't understand what they're saying.

A quick lesson on the ol civ 5, for those who dont know, the reason ghandi becomes the aggressive hitler figure we all know and love because of a small oversight. You see, each bot has an aggression level that they start with depending on the type of person they are. Well, ghandi's aggression level is set to 0, so when you increase the difficulty, it also increases aggression levels. The bug with it is, instead of remaining a 0, it actually reverts back around the spectrum and becomes 99 due to a numerical error on the games decoding engine. so yeah, this is why peace is achieved through nuclear fallout.

but I would say it's a lot closer to Prussia. 1870
It's actually about 1878 Britian. "War by jingo" and all that. Germany under Ludendorf fits too.

I just noticed, Tanya’s computation jewel (the ruby on her neck) is shaped kinda like the female symbol. As I recall everyone else uses rectangular gems, hers is the only round one. Wonder if it’s a joke on a guy reincarnating as a little girl, or just some random coincidence.

The Emperor also genuinely cared for humans (though he didn't care much for any individual human besides for maybe 3 people). Tanyas psychopathy, sadism and selfishness would put him off instantly. But he would still consider her useful thanks to her intelligence and natural talent for warfare. She'd be nothing but a useful tool in his eyes, but also someone he'd keep an eye on
