I agree with all of the steps in this video; however, I don’t agree with the concept of getting the ex back. If, as a man, you are working hard to be the best version of yourself, then why go back to someone who has proven with her actions that she will lose respect for you? Even if you get back together, if you suffer a temporary setback, she will choose to leave again - she has no true desire for you, it’s only surface-level attraction. If you are the best version of yourself, then you can move on and find someone better and more mentally committed to the relationship. She made a choice, and you can support her choice by moving on to someone better. Her regret is the consequence of her behavior, and it’s hers to deal with.

I wonder, how old are you, and did you have in your own relationships life-learning negative experience? I am asking because you seem genuine and you are very knowledgeable for your age. I've never met, in the span of about 20-25 years, a woman who could be genuine and truly express her thoughts in a constructive way. Everyone what I've encountered with had the same pattern of saying sweet lies like: you are a good person, everything will be okay. I wish I met truly hones people who could give hones feedback because this is exactly what I was missing because I couldn't understand what I was lacking in order to improve myself.

We're pre-supposing that "she lost respect for you"...which is probably the case 85%+ of the time. Sometimes though, women break up because they feel unworthy. Sometimes they are just confused, empty individuals. There isn't always a lesson to be learned in "earning her respect." Earning her respect isn't always worth it, she could be a complete idiot.
