I do not have the room/space to do long-range accuracy tests. Until I can secure a larger space, what you see in my videos is all I can offer for now. A follow-up review of all Airsoft equipment will be done at a later date. (This is taking longer than expected but updates will follow early 2021).

Imagine putting a Tracer unit and putting glow in the dark BBs to complete the Star Wars experience
that should have been build in tbh to really make this a better replica

I haven't used the standard E-11 that much, but from my brothers in the regular STC they said it's pretty reliable. I'd say that my E-10r is pretty superior, but that's from my line of work. I'm sure the E-11 is great for standard Stormtrooper buisness.

They should have had a 1 inch inner barrel with no hopup so it would force you to have stormtrooper aim

stormtroopers are actually really accurate. In episode 1 it took 24 shots from a stormtrooper for a kill but for a rebel it took 32 shots. plus they had commands to NOT kill the main characters on the death star but they made it look like they didnt have no orders

No wonder they couldn't hit anything, they weren't using the stock.
This "stormtroopers can't hit anything" cliché is so boring. Just look at the opening shoot-out scene in the original Star Wars movie, in which them actually hit quite a few rebel soldiers...Stormtroopers, like most action movie and war movie henchmen, just can't hit main protagonists, it's called "plot armor". Same goes for the baddies in Bond movies, John Wick movies, Die Hard movies, Rambo movies, etc.,etc.,etc.

@@apaxtoa You’re thinking about the Clones and FO Stormtroopers. Imperial Stormtroopers are recruited, just like soldiers IRL.

I added longer T tracks, a real metal tank scope (moved a bit more forward on the scope rail) and the 3 capacitors on mine to more closely replicate the movie prop gun.

I'm a bit disappointed about the rust, dust and glue marks knowing you payed an elevated price for it, but if it weren't for the price tag I probably won't care about such nimieties, that blaster looks good and performs well. I'm also happy you could get it being the huge SW (and Mandalorian!) fan you are, which being new to your channel was a pleasant surprise to me.

Thanks You Mike for the review! Awesome and enjoyable as always! Information you may have not been able to provide. Even though not accurate as pointed out. Buyer beware! This was my DREAM purchase (TWICE) (NIB) and would have primarily been shelved for display vs Airsoft play and each saw less than (30 minutes of game time). Luckily I was able to refund it twice! :(... The internals are garbage and 100% plastic and kept failing even after a repair review by my local authorized CQB HQ and would only do full auto and even for display knowing it was not fully functional is the reason for the refund. That popular USA Airosft dealer beginning with an "E" would not post my fair non-ranting review for this weapon.
If I could get this. I would outfit myself in full stormtrooper armor and then go in the airsoft field. I'll need more stormtroopers and someone has to be a commander

I have both this one and the Shepperton resin version you mentioned. First thing you'll notice holding it is the size difference in the thickness of the handles (one of the many inaccuracies carried over from the Sterling airsoft this is built from). The other big visual difference is the sight placement on the airsoft is way too far back. I hope to get around to correcting mine soon. That said, I love this thing for its heft and real feel. Something you definitely don't get from the Shepperton.

Stormtroopers can't aim shits because they didn't realized it's a sterling gun and didn't pull out the damn underfold stock. Disney Star Wars, they added an extra stock on underfold stock sterling gun. Lol xD
I might get the standard S&T Mark 5 and do the addons myself so I can make a true movie replica..... Also might reinforce my armor so it can withstand BBs.

I saw one of those in Oregon City at Saber Forge about a year ago for $350. At first sight I thought oh cool a Star Wars blaster. When I saw the price I thought crap, another over priced pot metal p o s. But when I picked it up and felt the 7 pound weight I realized why it cost so much. It feels like an arm load of steel not plastic. I don't know about the quality but it looks and feels good in the hands. Thanx for the vid. ✌😁

Any idea why it will fire a round, then the other BB's blow back into the magazine well? Might this be a magazine issue or something internal?

We need to do something about the Australian gun laws and try to make airsoft paintball and air guns and bb guns legal like the US gun laws
Need to get gelsoft properly legalized in all states than work on airsoft. Cops are kicking up a massive stink as it is with gelsoft and while that is happening airsoft has no chance.

I have had one of these for a few years. Has worked flawlessly from the start. Not as good as an elegant weapon for a more civilised age. 😂🔫
My S&T ppsh stripped it's piston and broke gear teeth in the first 100 rounds on a 7.4 lipo. The safety lever has sheared off due to cracking under the blowback action.
Rebuilt the gearbox internals and it now shoots lazers out to 60m @335fps.
S&T have not been any help replacing the broken part 😔

An option to fit a tracer unit on that would really complete the picture - especially as you can get glow in the dark pellets in red and green these days.

on the real Sterling (what this is based on) the small mags were actually Browning 1935 Hi Power magazines.

Is the barrel threaded? I see a few comments concerned about the sans tracer. A micro/pistol tracer might not spoil the look. The side capacitor situation could be replaced with a pec box OR a small shot to sound box that plays blaster audio on every cycle. The scope looks unfortunate. It would destroy wallets if there was a full series of SW guns. A DC15A would be neat.
