it can be good, but you need to play around 30 planeswalker in the 99 otherwiese its most times a miss. btw the average planeswalker decks (that aren chandra tribe) use around 17 planeswalker and thats not close to a good amount for that card xD
That was a great game. All decks (except poor Andrew's) had their chance to shine. I was mostly impressed by Sefris JEEZ that turn 9 was nuts. Best recovery of an overloaded Cyclonic Rift that I have ever seen.
Radient solar in seferis is so terrifying. It was a mistake to not instantly kill that player the moment that card hit the board. And the scary part is, the seferis player could have been doing so much more if he would have been going through the smaller dungeon instead of the 7 step dungeon
I built mine around cycling and free discard effects the idea of the deck is to dump a praetor toxrill or eldrazi into my grave and then discard cards on each players turn to power through the 4 room dungeon and get my sefris reanimate trigger on the last players end step my grossest game was when I reanimated a it that betrays on the last players end step right before my turn four its a monster both early and late I even don't run mana rocks because it would only slow my deck down
ETB Sefris is the most nasty Sefris deck imo. All it takes is Radiant Solar, a sac outlet, Sefris, and a creature that ventures and it’s over. Best part is that there are so many ways to infinite that it gets goofy, and even if you don’t the value you get is off the walls anyways. If you can’t exile Radiant Solar in a Sefris deck it’s over.
Oswald deck was nice, I have had problems finding a nice artifact commander since urza chief artificer is a bit monotonous so I might give oswald a try. Sefris is one of my favorite decks also. Its nice to see a different kind of sefris deck than mine and that radiant solar seems to go under the radar in every pod, its such an insta kill really but people don´t see it as such.
A happy middle ground might be Urza, Prince of Kroog. It's one of my favorite decks. I can make a ton of token copies of powerful artifacts and rebuild really quickly after a boardwipe
May I also recommend, Osgir, double the artifacts, double the fun, I also tried Oswald, but I found it to be really competitive tutoring the same cards every time, so I switched to Osgir and threw Oswald in the 99, it’s always a different game and so it’s much more exciting now, I’d highly recommend
Seriously? That sounds incredible. Do you mind sharing your list with me? I'm a huge fan of playing with Sefris and I'm really interested in different builds for her. 😊
I'm personally not a fan of Sefris, but do play Hama Pashar as a commander a ton. Hama Pashar plus radiant solar leads to some absolutely insane turns and when you are on a flicker theme it is very easy to combo out massive board states or just straight up win the game. If you see a radiant solar you should definitely take it off the board and preferably exile it if possible. It is a huge play extender and combo enabler and the throne of the dead three can cheat in for free!
Tengo una pregunta para los que juegan planeswalker ¿Si un planeswalker hace daño así como la chandra que hace daño a los jugadores o criaturas, este cuenta como daño de comandante?
@@jamescampbell2353 That means, if I use a planeswalker like Chandra I am doing commander damage because of his loyalty abilities that he has like, you do 3 points of damage to a target player
@@iorigamerMX it does not. only combat damage counts as commander damage. the only scenario where that would be possible is if the playgroup allow you to play that Gideon that turns into a creature as a commander (the rules do not allow for that, unless you're playing brawl) and you swing with it.
If you turn a planeswalker into a creature with an equipment like luxior giadas gift, which turns it into a creature and swing with it then yes you would deal commander damage
Its a pretty straight forward list, bunch of tutors and extra turns spells, your gameplan is to pump out narset asap with mana acceleration like mana vault end moxes and take a bunch of turns. Sometime nice people like to put planeswalkers in the list and make the deck more spicy and less sweaty. Personally i builded a "narset deck" using rograkh/ishai as commanders and a some polymorph effects to search narset and velomachus. Its funny and less competitive than the standard narset list. My advise is: try to build something spicy and less common than the same boring narset list that everyone play, and you'll enjoy it 100 times more!
My sefris deck might be my best late game deck that i have. It's not strong if you look at creatures (a lot of 'venture' cards are simply bad). But once you get that dungeon Ball rolling...oeff...so much value
Great video as always! I was wondering why you didn't play sol ring until turn 4 when it was in your opening hand? I get not playing it turn 1 because it puts a target on your back right away, but after Maxime played Sol Ring, Mind Stone, and Feldon's Cane into the Mystic Remora, I don't see why you didn't play the Sol Ruing turn 2.
Radiant Solar is a kill-on-sight card in any dungeon deck. That one turn was *crazy*
When I play a dungeon deck with someone the first time they don't know this. It becomes a magnet for removal in every game after.
Deploy the gatewatch will never not be a disappointment of a super friends card
The sheer number of times that ive resolved deploy in my atraxa deck (like 26 walkers) and failed to find… insane.
I run Ignite the Beacon or Djeru instead. At least it gets a walker or 2.

This is why I love dungeon/initiative so much: dungeon speedrunning is so fun ❤
Initiative is my favorite MtG mechanic of all time.

The downside of Sefris is the turns take soooo long
It is a good deck to be honest, I've made it exclusively because of these videos 😊
@MultrakSin can you share your decklist?
This was one of the most balanced games power wise I've ever seen well done yall was super fun to watch all the swings and interaction

Bro the initiative in this game is wild
That emblem into durdling hurt to watch. Also Seb was such a threat and only 3 spells would have taken him out
Sefris is my favorite commander deck. I combined it with the party time deck and the synergy is insane.

@@nicktezuka27 you’ll have to give me some time. I don’t think I have it on moxfield or archidect. Let me check though!

Never realized how powerful The dungeon of The mad mage is if you manage to complete it fast enough and with double triggers 😮

Where do you find this background music?
I knew you guys were dead to Seb when Andrew didn't point the emblem damage at him.
They were probably relying on the Blightsteel to take care of Seb
Thanks for spoiling 🤮
@@maxbodifee3263 I will say that's poor form I'm my part, but it's also bad practice to read comments while watching a video.
The top comment automatically shows when opening a vid on a phone. But thanks for the advice.

My Guff deck always seems to be missing one color as well.

This game was awesome.
Sefris is good, but I hate playing against it. The turns are ridiculously long and tedious for the rest of the table.
Value into the Dungeon
Oldie but goodie?
Great game.
In sebs big Turn did He Miss some Reanimations from sefris?
I think They did
You always kill the dungeon player first.
Yay!!! Dungeons!!!
love sefris
Why wouldn't you use mirage mirror on blightsteel with the lightning greaves and take out Andrew? Rookie play.
The Blightsteel entered the battlefield with hexproof that would last until Felix's next turn. That was why Seb waited until Felix's turn to Path it.
Rookie comment 🙃
Sen is that annoying ass player who takes 30 actions a turn and accomplishes nothing still making the game last 10+turns
