Great video, I love the LG V60, I have a LG G8x (V50s in some countries) and its still amazing in my opinion, many people still can't believe the two screens and some really want the phone they never knew about. I personally think Samsung should either drop there prices on the flagships, or put in far better optimized cameras. For the price they want for their flagships I'm expecting to be blown away, but when they come out they personally average results, they have a 108 MP camera, that is maybe 20% "better" than some other flagship phone camera's with less megapixels. Megapixels doesn't determine how good the picture is, the more optimized the better the picture, that's why Apple, LG and others just have superior optimization compared to Samsung (after all Samsung is only 3 stars). Price to performance is key for many people, the person who can afford the S22 ultra sure shouldn't be using it as a DSLR replacement which many people believe phones can, sure maybe the 8 MP DSLR of the day. My Sony Alpha A77 will destroy this phone and it has a cropped 24 MP sensor.
Spot-on! Heck, my 10-year-old Fujifilm X10 compact destroys my V60, and I'm sure any smartphone. Then again, it's all about the camera that you have at the time. I enjoyed The Tech Preacher's comparison because it was done on auto mode...how almost everybody will use their phones. I tend to use my V60 on manual mode for many shots and video, and the differences are substantial.
@@hoppysport2872 I agree smartphone cameras are far better than what they were, they have essentially replaced those small "cheap" digital camera that you point and shoot. I'm not knocking smartphone cameras, but call them what they are, they do not replace the DLSR at least not yet.
lg does not have better camera optimization then Samsung, you are on a different planet. The slefie camera on the s22u, as shown in this video, is MILES better then the v60 which is a blown out mess due to poor HDR(that's not a megapixel issues..) Samsung should drop them yeah I agree, but the s21 FE exists for a reason, "fan edition" and they provide more value then LG easily, as an example, look at the s20FE vs the LG competition at the time.
The S22 Ultra is as expected better but not to the point of wiping the floor with the LG V60. Same sensation I left the Samsung store with after comparing it to my Note 20 Ultra and S10 5G. I wish LG reconsidered its decision of leaving the game. All they need is to come back with just 2 good phones with headphone jack with Quad DAC and microsd card and even more improved cameras sth I believe they can do. Good video!! 👍🏾
I agree with you. If LG ever decided to re-enter the mobile market, they have to advertise their devices, like crazy. There wasn't enough marketing on their devices.
I think one of the most underrated parts about LG phones in general was their camera and the smooth software. The view finder of the V60 is butter smooth compared even with newer flagships.
The note22 is incredible. The intro was great too. Having your main camera in the center for the front facing video comparison was genius. It really shows how good the front camera is on the 22
Excellent video. Love my V60 still. Not worth spending $1400 for a better zoom. That was the only thing the Samsung had much better over a 2 year old LG. The sound was terrible on the Samsung compared to LG and I still use plug in headphones so... I also don't like the fact that the 5G 600MHz is exposing you to even more EMFs unnecessarily so...

You're right... the V60 and my previous G8 do have charging port issues. Very particular. They only love the genuine LG chargers, and even with those, often get the "Charging" or "Charging Slowly" notification. I often find myself having to re-insert the USB-C cord.
