Great review, Fred. I am glad I snagged a backup bottle. The longer I sit with it, the more dark chocolate raspberry notes I get. Exceptional!
And just like that. By time you’ve heard about it. It’s GONE. Can’t find one
Yep, just to be flipped on a FaceBook underground market no doubt 😢
That color is insane
Fred, thanks for doing this one, I just got my first bottle partly because I am from WV and wanted to support the distiller there. Can't wait to taste this one. May get a second just for insurance. Great review
Look forward to trying this! Thank you Fred! 🥃
Sounds great and I was very intrigued by this release but the price point is just not in my budget. Cheers
I was holding out on this and now mine is on its way! So excited
Got mine a couple weeks ago
Distilled in West Virginia.
Surprised you didn’t comment on the color. Does it get any better?
The old Cork and bottle is now Uncorked and has a lot of store picks, OGD114 $19.99 . Cheers 🍻
Distilled in Kentucky?
Give it a week and come back to it off the fresh pop. It’s one of the most complex tasting bourbon’s I’ve ever had. I hate to say it has a long “finish” because it NEVER ends. Hangs around forever.
Someone in a comment somewhere confirmed Smooth Ambler was not the distillery, but idk! 🤷♂
I liked it. Almost too nutty for me. But what a beautiful presentation. Still glad I was able to get one
Kia’s have become great cars. But I just bought a Telluride; don’t go to a Kia Dealership-it’s like car salesman purgatory.
That color is cray
Who doesn't like a Reese's Cup? Wow will dig into this one right away.
Wild Turkey's barrel cost is really low...at that scale. But Pride of Anderson County cost the price of your first born child. This being $250 and 13 years old is not awful.
Its really interesting to me to see all the overwhelmingly positive reviews, because I do not like this whiskey at all. Just goes to show how drastically different all of our palate's can be.
I’m with you, man. I was hugely disappointed with this bottle of peanut butter liquor.
@@jerrystith I described it as “evil Beam”. Peanuts influence. But in a bad way.
Damn...I was hoping there would a rationale for me to avoid the temptation to drop $250 on this. No such luck!😂
I'm willing to guess this stuff comes from rabbit hole based on the bottle shape
200 bottle and 50 doll hair bourbon..
Well cheap stuff definitely has a smell, like cheap plastics and metal products straight out of china. So typically expensive stuff lacks the smell of cutting corners.
It's been sitting on seelbachs and sharedpour forever. Now??? Poof!!!!! Ridiculous
The economy seems alright. $250 is always too much though
First! just had to say it once
Did not like this at all. Palates differ. Very earthy / nutty / weird - not good
Heaven Hill.....
