Had a bakers 78 year 11 month that was out of this world! still looking for another bottle as I've gone through the first one. Fantastic juice.
Bakers 7 for $35 is absolutely bonkers! They’re always about $70 near me. I agree that it’s a great bottle, but it’s not worth more than $50.

Man, my local grocery store has had OGD 114 at $19 for the last couple months, and I thought that was a wild price, but some of those mis-priced bottles you guys were talking about were crazy!

You came through again. What a great store, great people and great selection. I stopped in and ended up picking up one of their Ezra store picks, a Michters Barrel Strength Rye and a Larceny B523, all at great prices.
Penelope 9yr, Peerless DO, Saffel…lots of options at this store. Good find. BTW, Uncle Nearest Single Barrel is really good, best of their offerings for me.

@@Bourbon_Hunter it’s based out of NY, so not super available outside NY. They have some great finished bourbons but they are hard to find outside the distillery. Their Maple fished bourbon is really good too and better availability.
I’ll have to check Premier out. It’s near Lake Marion where the giants swim! Great find.
Went to Louisville over Christmas to hit the whiskey row. We did Buzzards Roost, and it was great. I ended up buying the barrel proof rye.

I think we would have gone broke at the first store. There were so many great bottles there that you don't normally see stocked on the shelves. If you haven't tried the W.B. Saffell (375mL only unfortunately) it is a great pour. For $35.99 I would have bought at least 4 of the Baker's 7. GREAT video, as always!

Ross and Squib is the new name for MGP. Thats where over 200 whiskeys including several of the ones you just touched before the Roseville where all distilled.

That’s a great price on the Baker’s 7, but I’m shocked you passed on that Corazon EH Taylor Tequila.

I got a bottle of the Corazon Buffalo Trace finished Anejo. Even though it’s not additive free, still great. Check the Tequila sections next time you go hunt, they make both Reposado and Anejo finished in various BT product barrels.
Buzzards Roost Cigar Rye is like smoking a cigar out of a glass. Standard rye notes on the nose and front palate, but the finish is a delicate tobacco coating. Very delicious and unique.
I may need to get one ive heard Buzzards Roost getting some hype around it I may snag a bottle next time!
Swung by there a few weeks ago and almost grabbed that Purple Top but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Left with a jug on Ancient Ancient Age 10 Star though hah

Great video. The Davidson Genesis were the first barrels they played down in 2014. The Five release is an 8 year only 1072 bottles per year. Also, the Rossvillenis owned by MGP, but it’s a KY rye sourced from heaven hill for get a store pick. Cheers!

The storyteller bookers is good but I wait for all reviews on bookers before I buy a batch. I know you don’t care for Penelope but if you’re gonna get a Penelope go with a barrel pick from a store. It’s worth the money.

oh nice barrel. Saw that Garrison Bros. A lot of people are hunting that Lady Bird. It was limited. Now the Cowboy I really enjoy. They are all numbered and I am hunting one with a number #22 on it. So not sure if you happened to look. I do enjoy the Peerless doubled oak. I agree with you on that Gem of Kentucky. very nice selection. looking for some of the old elk, some of those barrell. great hunt. cheers

My local Costco currently has Bakers 7 for $40. Worth keeping an eye out for it there.
I haven’t had the Joseph Magnus cigar blend, but I got a store pick of Good Old Times cigar blend and it is really good. Cheaper than the Magnus too.

Bakers 7 just had a flash sale in upstate SC at like 5 stores for $30.
Been really enjoying the KC Single Barrel 120 proof. My costco had them for $42.

That Wolves is good, different but good. It’s not actually flavored. They distill it from Pale Ale, so the TTB requires they put hop flavored since it wasn’t distilled from a grain mash.

The Lady Bird (Garrison Brother's) is the Honey Dew, but in Cask Strength. It is very good, if you like G.B. profile.

$80 for kc12 is kinda steep. I got one for $55 when they first came out. $60 for bakers is totally fair but I do miss the old small batch at $50
Thats about going rate around SC for KC12. They did just have a big price drop so im sure the new stock will be lower

Jack bonded never came in a 750, they probably just didnt have a tag for 700s.
The Berheim BP is good, but not exceptional like the Larceny and Elijah BPs. That store has a hell of a nice selection!🥃✌️

They are alright. Lots of stores have them. And i mean A LOT. Not bad juice just an average bottle. Never had one that blew my socks off. But ive also never been disappointed. 🤷🏻♂️🥃

If you don't like Penelope, you probably won't enjoy the 9 year. I don't like Penelope, but tried the 9 year because of the proof and age. It was meh. Maybe at 35, but not at 70.

Anita’s Choice is my favorite so far!
Pawleys Island Wine and Spirits near the Publix has a great selection! Owen’s is right next to Litchfield, they have every allocated thing you want… at about 15x MSRP. Blantons was about $230 if I remember correctly.
Also check out Bourbon and Burns, great bar with a really good selection. They had EH Taylor Barrel proof in there for about $20 a pour

Rossville is from the MGP official brand, excellent rye, but I will say I have try better ones from other bottles companies that they juice from MGP
