Israel-Gaza: Netanyahu says no ceasefire and pledges 'total victory' over Hamas

- Israel's Prime Minister has declared that there is no other solution but total victory over Hamas, which he believes is a matter of months away. It deals a blow to hopes of a ceasefire deal between the two sides.
Hamas had proposed a four and a half month ceasefire, during which all hostages would be released in exchange for hundreds of Palestinians jailed by Israel.
The group also wants a full withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza and a timetable for an end to the war.

And let's not forget, that unlike, for example Russia illegally occupying Crimea (which was also wrong), "Israel" doesn't even want to give equal rights to all the people living under its control. But if, in that anger, I looked to fight and got beaten over 5x, I'd look to a concession and compromise so that me and my family could carry on living with a minimum of stability.
