  • Now in Israel, the most far-right government in the country's history is about to take power, at the end of a year marred by soaring levels of deadly violence.
    (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
Four Palestinians have been killed in the last 24 hours.
The new government, being brought together by four-time prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, includes ultranationalists who have advocated the annexing of the West Bank and deporting those they deem "traitors".

I really cannot understand the settlers' view, nor the Israseli government laissez-faire attitude. I am Italian, I was born Italian. It was a sheer accident of history, since I didn't choose to be born with this identity. My ancestors were Italian. Does this mean that I can re-claim the land in which my forefathers used to rule? Can I go to Munich and say "hey, get out! this was Holy Roman Empire 1,000 years ago"? On second thought..... let's go even further back since history allows us to do so. Can I go to London and say "we Romans were here before the Anglo-Saxons or the Normans or the British Nation. Don't you see that wherever you dig, you can find Lundinium remains? This is my land"

I am not supporting either stance but that land around Jerusalem that was seized by force many times in history. Before Arabian Caliph Umar took Jerusalem by force there were no Muslims there, there were only Jews and Christians. Far right wing Jew contention is that Arabians were brought into their land and natives were converted to Islam, and their forefathers and much of Christians were thrown out by Muslims since then. History is full of injustices that can carry into the present also

Right now its not a matter of who occupied. They settled, they flourished. Jews argrred to have a separate state and coexist with Palestine. Palestine rejected and attacked Israel. Everytime. And when they lose, they play victim card. Instead of accepting the land they got and working on building a better country and better lifestyle for citizens, they kept waging war on Israel. A good example of who always attacks is the iron done of Israel. This was built in the first place coz they want to defend and protect their citizens from Hamas and other terror group airstrikes who sworn to wipe out Jews from the map. Wat is Hamas doing? Attacking innocent jews and hiding behind innocent Palestine civilians. How come Jews surrounded by enemies are flourishing in their land and Palestine who is surrounded by their Muslim brothers are living such a horrible life?

@@MultiDaniella14 Daniella but the issue is, after the holocaust there was a massive migration to Palestine. Palestinians were muslims, christians, and jews living side by side as equal citizens. Then an influx of europeans came by cruise ships propping up their own government and stealing the land of the Palestinians. Its like saying the Ukraine invasion is justifiable and that the land belongs to the russians because in past history the russians occupied it. So that doesnt make it ok for russians to mass migrate to ukraine. Of course the Ukraines will resist, just like how the palestinians did with terror attack, zionist stole their land and homes. Theres two options, either Israel goes back to 1967 border, which it will not. Or 2nd option allow the palestinians full israel citizen ship even the refugees that are stateless.

It is ONLY through the demonisation of Muslims through the MSM that this has been allowed to grow . And the west ( and east to an extent) collectively wanted to scapegoat Islam. It’s taken decades and everyone who voted for wars or fell for the narrative is complicit even if unknowingly. It creates a collective reality ( like an egragor)
Muslims screamed and screamed about this injustice for decades and now they themselves have been bought or subdued to a small voice against oppression.
Now how individuals wake up will determine the future. Will enough people wake up and take a stand ? I do not think the west will . It’s too invested in the narrative and these are the consequences.

First of, the Arabs "didn't live on that land for 3 thousand years".
A simple google search debunks that. They started in the 9th century in modern day Saudi Arabia, at the EXACT same time that the Jewish kingdom was formed (930 BCE) so no, there is no possible way that the Arabs lived there before, because chronologically the Jews lived there during the time the Arab identity started forming up.
Second, don't tell me you are one of those "Every Arab=Palestinian". Do I need to explain why this is incorrect?
Third, again, the Palestinians are genetically connected more to anciant Syrians who emigrated and colonized the lands during the time of the first Caliphate (colonizers could also be non-whites what a shocker).
Fourth, and the funniest one of them all, if you claim the Palestinians are native (or at least more native then the Jews), could you remind me where did they aquire the name? "Palestine", a word used by the Roman Empire , AKA, the biggest European colonizer to ever exist, which was used to mark the provence of the occupied Jewish kingdom in 70 CE.

      1. Jews have indigenous rights to small areas in Palestine. (I'm not talking about the Bible, I'm an atheist)
      2. The Arabs are not indigenous to Palestine but because they were the majority of the inhabitants in Palestine morally, they should have received most of the territory in proportion to their size in the population.
      3. In 1947, the British gave 76% of Palestine to the Arabs and established a new country called Jordan. (Most of the residents of Jordan are Palestinians, there are more Palestinians in Jordan than anywhere else in the world).
      4. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict concerns the division of the remaining 26% of Palestine.
      5. In 1948 the UN decided to divide the remaining 26% into two countries of equal area.
      6. Israel agreed to the UN partition in 1948, the Palestinians, the Egyptians, the Syrians, the Jordanians, each opposed for their own reasons.

      7. The Palestinians were not expelled from their homes before the Nakba, which took place after the 1948 war had already started.
      8. The Arab coalition started the war in 1948 by ethnically cleansing 100% of the Jewish community of Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron and East Jerusalem.
      10. After the war in 1948, it was Jordan and Egypt that stole 100% of the Palestinian territory designated for Palestinian state under the agreement in 1948.
Egypt stole Gaza which at the time was much larger and included Ashkelon and beyond.
And Jordan stole the entire West Bank including East Jerusalem.
      11. In 1964, the PLO was established and recognized the West Bank as territory of the Kingdom of Jordan.
      12. In 1967 during the Six Day War
Israel captured the West Bank from Jordan and Gaza from Egypt.
      13. Also in 1967, Israel agrees to the UN partition and offers the Palestinians 100% of the West Bank and Gaza, including the Western Wall. (At that time there were no settlers or even Jews, because the Jews were expelled from the West Bank in 1948).
      14. The PLO and the Arab League gathered in Khartoum Sudan, and decided not to accept the offer because it required recognition of Israel and the signing of a peace agreement with Israel.
.15 If Israel had not occupied the West Bank in 67 from Jordan, it would have remained Jordanian territory not Palestinian state...
16.If Israel had not conquered Gaza in 1967, it would have remained Egyptian territory not Palestinian state...
      17. If Israel had lost the war in 1948, there would not have been a Palestinian state because Jordan, Egypt, and Syria oppose Palestinian state in 1948.
Jordan, Egypt, and Syria recognized Palestine as a territory that historically belonged to them.
Paradoxically, it was precisely the Israeli occupation that reopened the discourse on a Palestinian state.
A discourse that did not take place between 1948-1967 under the Jordanian Egyptian occupation.

The struggle of these Palestinians against their own colonization by foreign occupiers is the same as the Irish struggle for independence, the Algerian struggle for independence, the Vietnamese struggle for independence, the Indian struggle for independence, the South African struggle against apartheid. Theirs is a struggle for liberation and every human being who cares about freedom should be on their side. The levant was never solely the land of the Jews, and it should never be; by principle, no religious group should have their own nation-state, regardless of their past. So long as Israel exists, it will perpetuate colonialism and apartheid because its foundation is that of a JEWISH state OF Jews, BY Jews, For Jews, ruled by JEWISH law and grown by international migration. No matter how "secular" they may claim their state to be, the very concept of Israeli identity as well as the foundation of the nation is based completely on the Jewish faith - it is impossible to separate them. This breeds inequality and supremacy, where non-Jews are seen as lesser; they may be tolerated, but only on THEIR terms, this is not democracy at all. Israel needs to go the way of Rhodesia and apartheid South Africa, the only peaceful solution is the dissolution of Israel and the creation of a single, secular, socialist state of Palestine.

You are amazingly naive and unfamiliar with the simple reality on the ground in Israel. There is an Islamic jihad against Jews in order to make the entire Middle East conquered by Islam. The land is the single most important defense against jihad. So the jihadists use disinformation to dupe well-intentioned people like you into believing propaganda like is found in this video. "Rabbi" Arik Ascherman is on the side of the jihadists. Every people has turncoats that believe that they can escape anti-Semitism by siding with the enemies of Israel and the Jewish people. This man is like the kappos of WW II. How should people react to someone that is doing his best to delegitimize Israel's right to their own land and trying to facilitate the theft of the land to the Arabs who wish to reduce Israel down to indefensible borders so that ultimately Israel can be militarily destroyed? Ascherman is a wicked person.

    • @williambunter3311

@@Historian613 You are too gracious when you refer to Israel haters as 'well-intentioned'. These people are not well-intentioned. To be 'intentioned' at all entails having a knowledge of a subject. Those who swallow the media anti-Israel rhetoric are not bothered about truth, nor about doing any study to learn the truth. They see themselves as 'crusaders', though in truth they are dupes who join in with the mindless mob, and who are energised by the fantasising zeal of the stampeding common herd.
Media rags like the Guardian and the Independent are full of hatred for the Jewish people. Yet they are probably the most widely-read publications among students. Students are being brainwashed by, as you rightly describe it, deliberate disinformation. But this does not mean that they are innocent, and not responsible for their ignorance. Just try talking to them and giving them the facts. They are not interested in facts. They draw their energy from emotions, and these emotions are implanted in them, and manipulated by, the mainstream media, and by trendy lecturers who were themselves brainwashed when they were students, and by videos such as this one, full of lies, and devoid of any true content.
I'm afraid that this hatred of Israel is going to continue to grow. The bible teaches that the coming world government, led by the beast from the sea, aided by the beast from the land ( Rev.13. Matt.24), will persecute the Jews more than has ever transpired in history.
But, praise God, the anti Israel forces will be destroyed when Christ, whom the Jewish people will finally recognise as their true Messiah, returns to defeat His enemies and the enemies of Israel, and to establish His millennial kingdom, and to rule from His throne in Jerusalem (Zech 14 Rev 19).

Lets talk about the CORRUPT Palestinian government that steals from the people daily and live in a lap of luxury while the majority of Palestinians are going hungry and drowning to escape poverty and high unemployment. “I blame the rulers here, the government of Gaza,” said Shurrab’s mother, Um Mohammed, from her home in the southern town of Khan Younis. Her son’s body was never recovered from the Aegean Sea. “They live in luxury while our children eat dirt, migrate and die abroad.” Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh relocated to Qatar, an energy-rich Gulf state, with his wife and several children in 2019. Political leader Fathi Hamad moved to Istanbul a year ago and frequently flies to Beirut, Lebanon's capital, where media reports have shown him in meetings at a five-star hotel. Deputy leader Khalil al-Hayya also relocated to Turkey last year, according to news reports, including Hamas outlets that highlighted some of his travels. Since then, he has paid only two short visits to Gaza. Former government spokesman Taher Nounou and leader Ibrahim Salah moved to Doha, the Qatari capital. Senior member Salah al-Bardawil, spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri and dozens of aides also have resettled in Doha, Istanbul, or Beirut, according to Hamas media reports and official statements. In conclusion, the Palestinian government has taken CORRUPTION to another level of disgust. Thus, the blame should not be on Israel, but the leadership of CORRUPT Palestinian officials who steal from the people in Gaza and the West Bank! Shame, shame, shame on these CORRUPT officials and their families.

      8. The Arab coalition started the war in 1948 by ethnically cleansing 100% of the Jewish community of Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron and East Jerusalem.
      9. After the war in 1948, Jordan and Egypt stole 100% of the territory designated for the Palestinian state under the agreement in 1948.
Egypt stole Gaza which at the time was much larger and included Ashkelon and beyond.
And Jordan stole the entire West Bank including East Jerusalem.
      10. In 1967 during the Six Day War
Israel captured the West Bank from Jordan and Gaza from Egypt.
11.In 1967, Israel agrees to the UN partition and offers the Palestinians 100% of the West Bank and Gaza, including the Western Wall. (At that time there were no settlers or even Jews, because the Jews were expelled from the West Bank in 1948)
      12. The PLO and the Arab League gathered in Khartoum Sudan, and decided not to accept the offer because it required recognition of Israel and the signing of a peace agreement with Israel...
      13. If Israel had not occupied the West Bank in 67 from Jordan, it would have remained Jordanian territory not Palestinian state.
14.If Israel had not conquered Gaza in 1967, it would have remained Egyptian territory not Palestinian state.

      *Zionism:*
Zion is an age-old name for Jerusalem and the land of Israel. Zionism is the national liberation movement of the Jewish people who sought to restore their freedom and independence in their ancestral homeland.
Theodore Herzl founded the modern Zionist movement in 1897, but the dream of restoration and return had always been at the core of Judaism and Jewish identity. Roma tried to obliterate the millennia-old Jewish state in the first century. But unlike other nations conquered in ancient times, the Jews survived and never lost their profound attachment to their land of origin. Jews lived in the land of Israel continuously for 3,000 years. Those forced into exile expressed their yearning to return in their daily liturgy and prayers. For 2,000 years, many came back in periodic waves of immigration. By the late 1860s, Jews once again were the majority in Jerusalem.
Zionists adapted this historic dream to modern political ideals and circumstances. They were inspired by national liberation movements and driven by ongoing anti-Jewish persecution and discrimination that occurred even in progressive Europe. The Zionists believed that if the scattered Jews reunited in their historic homeland, joining the Jews who were already there, they could restore their freedom, be free from prejudice and further develop their unique culture.
Disagreements arose among Zionists as Jews from different countries and with different ideologies - religious and secular, socialist and conservative - joined together. But they united around fundamental principles that combined idealism and practicality. They would seek official support from other national govermments. They wwould return legally, purchase the land and restore it through their own labor. Zionists envisioned living in friendship with non-Jewish residents and believed the entire region would benefit from their restoration of the land.
Within 50 years, the Zionist dream became a reality. Britain recognized the thriving communities Jews had built and in the 1917 Balfour Declaration, endorsed the "Zionist aspirations". In 1920, the League of Nations reinforced this commitment and carved out the Palestine Mandate from the defeated Ottoman Empire for the Jewish homeland.
On May 14, 1948, Israel was reestablished as a modern state and recognized by the community of nations. It lived up to the Zionist dream. Israel began with a Jewish majority that had purchased and settled the land and accorded full civil, political and cultural rights to all its minorities, including Arabs, Muslims and Christians.
Today, Jewish and non-Jewish Zionists around the world support the State of Israel and hope to see the full Zionist vision realized - a safe and thriving Israel living at peace with it neighbors.

Since 1850, approximately 29,000 Jews have been murdered by the Islamist terror in the Holy Land.
