@@opmami Kristian is right, you slow push the wave meaning that enemy jungle will come for you. And not the jungle, Braum is looking for harrassing Vayne but Nautilus is doing nothing. This is just simply a false ban/pick scenario which Bang have advange last pick on
You can apply this same concept in mid lane except instead of harassing the enemy when you crash the wave into their tower, you can get a recall in and buy an extra dorans item/dark seal while only losing 1-2 minions since mid lane is shorter, also by the time you come back you can set a freeze and punish your opponent with your item lead, and if they have teleport to match the buy then you essentially forced out their tp pressure in the first 5 mins of the game.

You're missing the whole "enemy bot lane came to lane late meaning their jungler started bot side and unless their jungle is twitch, xin or someone that is good at ganking at lv2 its mid and top lane that is at risk of gank around becuase jungler will be on that side of the map with a potentional lv 3 over while all the laners still are level 2 and he would have red buff.
I think Bard and Ashe are pretty good for this strategy. They have a high amount of range and cc. Ashe can scout for the enemy jungler so that they might even roam into enemy jungler. Otherwise they keep pressure on the enemy under turret. Also if they are unable to catch the enemy jungler in the time gap, bard will get some Meeps. Summarized i think Ashe is great because of her range, waveclaer because of W and her vision because of E. Bard is great because he also has range and cc, he gets some time to collect meeps and with his gate they might land a better catch on the enemy jungler or get back to lane faster. Thanks for this video, i would like to see a Guide on when to pick teleport and when to tp botlane without loosing to much on top.
The optimal play would have been to cheater recall after the cannon minion wave because: 1. With 17-19 cs from the first 3 waves, the ADC has enough gold for a cull. Coming back to lane with an item advantage is usually more valuable than a little tower damage or poke in most matchups. 2. The ADC will only lose 0-3 melee minions worth of exp, depending on how quickly he hard pushed the 3rd wave. 3. Bot lane will be gank immune. By pushing up, in some matchups, ganks can screw you over. When returning from a recall with the 3rd wave pushed in like that, the reinforcing enemy minion wave will be closer to the enemy tower than your own and will slow push to you. You can play safe and let the wave come into you and be gank immune. In a lot of matchups, this play can also let you control how the wave comes into you and how to harass the enemy (which is easier to do due to item advantage).
I think the main important fact was the jungle was a weak early jungle or started botside. At this time of the game you do attracted jungle if you aggro like that.

16:10 But I see Draven players consistently apply this startegy. I'm pretty sure it fits that champion's playstyle because he has a lot of damage with his Q and can get a minion advantage more quickly than then enemies. Not to mention he would suffer more from poke if he's pushed in. Even though he has low range, his auto attacks hit like a truck, thus we can see Draven streamers auto attacking the enemy ADC walking up to farm or hitting the turret otherwise, which consistently gives turret plates.
I kind of agree with you. Champions like Draven and Yasuo are almost forced to push the minion wave because of their kits. Draven wants to use/catch his axe's and yasuo wants to stack his q nado. So yeah, their kits kind of "encourage" them to do this. Many Draven players however hardpush (ie not slow push) and just crash the wave too soon. Ideally you want to have a hook support or something that can get the enemy out from under their tower as you crash the biggest wave possible. It's pretty much guaranteed enemy sums if not a kill. The real key to pulling this strategy off is understanding who has the strong lvl 1, and who has the "guts" to go for it. I've played many matchups where the enemy had a way stronger lvl 1. However they didn't contest when I ran head in and just started autoing the wave. Often players aren't really sure who wins the lvl 1 all in, so they just give prio even if they really had it.

As a Jungler I usually clear the south side of jungle in about 3:20, so seeing the lane pushed so far in after clearing raptors I‘d definitely go there. And what would you do if the enemy just aa‘s the casters at the beginning? Especially in low elo, random shoving or fighting for the lvl 2 advantage is rather common.
watching the senna tahm vs syndra leona actually astonished me, like, all the high level strat that is going on that most people can't even understand its crazy
I like how it's broken down and explained. Cuz a lot of challenger players that charge for coaching will just tell u to "hit the minions, create a freeze, hard push, etc" without explaining the reasoning behind it
Also this is a take on DOPA's Cannon minion strategy. It's technically not a "three minion wave strat" but rather your queue is the cannon minion. slow push all waves then when cannon minion arrives, you hard push.
The wave crashes under tower by the 3:10 minute mark when the enemy jungler is looking to gank, isnt this too risky if the enemy started on the oposite side?
Maybe this won't work mid but I'll try it for a few games, regardless of whether it works out this guide felt very clear and professional and hopefully I can use this advice to at least learn how to create freezes :D
I find this video very helpfull. I play a lot of teemo toplane and aplying this helps me a little bit, but teemos lvl 3 is weaker then most toplaners (renekton, darius, garen osv.) so i have to be crafull off when they hit lvl and not be pushed because they will run me down. You guys help me to be more annoying in game and im thankfull for that :D
Saw a little mistake.. "syndra used her q meaning she only had autos and you went to say sena not only has better autos but her q up was false.. as senas q was on cooldown for 10 more seconds.
Instead of staying in lane doing nothing you can go back, buy and get to lane in a position where you have full control on your wave (and have lost almost no minions at all) and vayne will be either behind on mana/hp or she'll have to back giving you the chance to deny even more minions.
By spacing correctly, usually in a lane where u have range disadvantage u want to be close to bush and auto attack from bush when Cait is on the river side. If Cait takes the bush, u are forced in a awkward spot but that usually won't happen cuz Caitlyn wants to be in a position to hit both u and the minnion wave with her Q thus allowing her to get push and hp lead on u. Ur main goal vs Cait is to play different side of the lane from where she is, it isn't that hard.
Loved the video but my entire champion pool is unfortunately the "weak adcs" to use this strat with. Are there any better strats i can use from level 1 with these champs? and would you happen to have a video on them? much love
late reply and i'm not challenger but please take the "weak adc" thing with a grain of salt. especially in lower elo, it's not necessarily about how weak or strong your adcs are for this tactic, rather it's about how your support and you are compared to enemy support and adc and how they play. for example, while leona is considered 'weak' and lulu 'strong', leona definitely has the push advantage if lulu doesn't aa the wave. protip, she won't. no support lower than high plat autos waves. when i play leona, i structurally, without fail, manage to outpush enemy no matter what kind of adc I have, if the enemy support is some enchanter (lulu etc) or even mage (lux morgana etc). so that leaves you. your leo is outpushing the lulu. now, let's say you play vayne, and enemy plays cait. an obvious disadvantage here, but now let's say this lulu is standing so far back for whatever reason that the cait is effectively 1v2 the lane. that means you and leo can threaten her even at level 1, as long as you show some cojones and don't overrespect her ability to 1v2 at level 1, especially if you already have minion advantage and you could potentially all-in her at 2. or, let's say lulu is not dumb, but the cait is not AA'ing the wave for whatever reason, or she is but she's letting you hit the wave for free, even though she shouldn't. so now you can still get the slowpush going! most of this game is about capitalizing on what enemy does. you can have a plan with which you enter the game, which is good, but especially in our lower shitty elos, we never know what the enemy's plan is and it can be some complete yolo stuff. he can be drunk, or have 300 ms, or maybe he forgot how to lulu, or how to q. you never know. adjust to what you see!
This is just a standard strategy that's used in the majority of high level play. I suppose you excluded games that have an enemy Jungler, because this is not a bullet-proof strategy, it relies heavily on composition and your/enemy Jungler's pathing , yet you fail to express many of it's flaws in this video.
Yup like you cannot do this if you leash ad enemy can get a minion lead before you This depends on supp matchup too a karma is going to beat an alistar for a wave push.
Today i saw something similar to this in the top lane. I was in the top left, below the turret cleaning minions after a kill (was lvl 4-5), with very low hp. My jungler was kayne, which was on the bush where you ward to avoid ganks, he was covering for me in case Yi appeared. Yi did appeared, so he landed some abilities, then e started to go trough the wall in my direction, and yi alpha striked. Well, i suppose he wasnt happy, he was chunked from kayne, then got 2 turret shots. Easy kill.
Good video, but does it mean that if the enemy jungler is shaco and starts your side of the map, you have to let you push and so you are pretty much doomed until your own jungler helps you?
Absolutely. Just be weary that doing this in top is more risky if the enemy jungle started their bot side. Effectively leaving you open to jungle ganks/pressure around the 3min mark
Would Rell work? Even she is melee her passive reduces AR and MR which can quicken dmg taken. If she does this at lvl 2 she stun any close engages and flash away
Yep! We have a top lane version just released on our site if you're interested in subscribing. But most of the info is the same (just has some extra info about ganks and how to get the push in different matchups)
@@skillcapped thank you, I'm considering subscribing. Oh, and another question: What do I do after the third wave? Let the wave reset and repeat this strategy?
@@varrooliver2971 You can recall immediately after the 3rd wave hits the tower and come back to lane with an additional Dorans Blade or a Cull, which will boost your gold lead even harder. The enemies wave will usually push towards you and you should not miss out on any minions if you have done it right.
Your saying which ever team helps jungler leash buff loses lane? cause it gives enemy bot lane prio, right? I thought Ganks from your jungler can always help you get back lane priority?
discuss your wave plan with him before, don't assume he's telepathic. also, adjust to his play. so, you see your support aa minion, means you don't aa one (except to last hit ofc). at the end of the day, the total amount of aa on minion wave on your side needs to be higher than that of enemy, but not that much, sotry to match how you attack the wave based on what both enemy lane and your support does. also, it is quite possible your support knows more about waves than you (and quite possible he is also completely lost), so it's helpful to actually discuss stuff. lastly, i'd rather have a support who aa's lane by default and who then stops if i ping back off, rather than those who do jack shit all lane, because it becomes a 1v3 at that point
Dear Skill Capped,on your website it says that there will be a full refund if Im not satisfied with the product.I cancelled my subscription and I've been waiting to recive my money. Can someone please help?
I usually start taking camps when the waves aren't in a good spot mid/late game and/or there's nothing on the map during rotations to take ie drake/baron. No use waiting around for the wave to come closer when you can easily get 100G+ and then catch the wave after.
5:14 "how safe this strategy was" yeah. because they haven't been ganked, this strat makes you vulnerable for ganks, they push without vision. easy target, free double kill
Ok but what if the enemy does auto the wave: then you don't have a minion advantage no? So how can you be sure to complete mission 1? Also, should you successfully complete this strategy, you are vulnerable to jungle gank.
Wouldn't tristana also be one of the best adcs for this strategy? She is good at pushing so it's hard for the enemy to stop her from controlling the wave and her E can be a good harass when used on tower so she doesn't need a ranged ability as much, her lv2 advantage is also very good, the only thing she lacks is CC, having only a slow.

Cuz a lot of challenger players that charge for coaching will just tell u to "hit the minions, create a freeze, hard push, etc" without explaining the reasoning behind it
The best skill capped video ever
I really love your tips and tutorials. Favorite LOL guide channel 💕 more power
Well done, the hard work and efforts you put in really comes to show ;)
Yeehaw 1 minute ago ♥ Glad to see a new video~
Zven's been #1 ADC on the ladder for a while. When was this even made?
A while ago
It was released on our site about 2 weeks ago
@@skillcapped Why not just post the vids on youtube and the site at the same time?
They have to make money on their site first
Great video. Learned so much from those u uploaded. Thanks from China.
Maybe this won't work mid but I'll try it for a few games, regardless of whether it works out this guide felt very clear and professional and hopefully I can use this advice to at least learn how to create freezes :D
great guide! i'll try to put this in action
great job for real best video on this topic ♥
really good content , unlike other overrated youtube channels .
Ivern support BABY
Coud you make like this but then for top?
We just did that on our site today. Maybe it'll end up on TH-cam!
@@skillcapped Did it?
Saw a little mistake.. "syndra used her q meaning she only had autos and you went to say sena not only has better autos but her q up was false.. as senas q was on cooldown for 10 more seconds.
Wow awesome tips 👍🏻 Next time mid lane
love your vods
Thanks! That's another gemm, you guys do a great work
Instead of staying in lane doing nothing you can go back, buy and get to lane in a position where you have full control on your wave (and have lost almost no minions at all) and vayne will be either behind on mana/hp or she'll have to back giving you the chance to deny even more minions.
great video as always keep it up
Can you explain what is the level of camp please :( ? I dont understand what is 1,3,5,7 in the prev video
After watching this video I just realised how oblivious the community really is in regards to basic mechanics of this game.
How do you apply this strategy against caitlyn when she can poke you out when you try to slow push?
By spacing correctly, usually in a lane where u have range disadvantage u want to be close to bush and auto attack from bush when Cait is on the river side. If Cait takes the bush, u are forced in a awkward spot but that usually won't happen cuz Caitlyn wants to be in a position to hit both u and the minnion wave with her Q thus allowing her to get push and hp lead on u. Ur main goal vs Cait is to play different side of the lane from where she is, it isn't that hard.
@@zipiking7955 Thanks for the tip! It really helped me laning against caits!
Sett SP with predator and mobi boots is awesome!! Win lane then roam alot.
really great video !
Loved the video but my entire champion pool is unfortunately the "weak adcs" to use this strat with. Are there any better strats i can use from level 1 with these champs? and would you happen to have a video on them? much love
poto ur name means ass in my country lmao
late reply and i'm not challenger but please take the "weak adc" thing with a grain of salt. especially in lower elo, it's not necessarily about how weak or strong your adcs are for this tactic, rather it's about how your support and you are compared to enemy support and adc and how they play.
for example, while leona is considered 'weak' and lulu 'strong', leona definitely has the push advantage if lulu doesn't aa the wave. protip, she won't. no support lower than high plat autos waves. when i play leona, i structurally, without fail, manage to outpush enemy no matter what kind of adc I have, if the enemy support is some enchanter (lulu etc) or even mage (lux morgana etc).
so that leaves you. your leo is outpushing the lulu. now, let's say you play vayne, and enemy plays cait. an obvious disadvantage here, but now let's say this lulu is standing so far back for whatever reason that the cait is effectively 1v2 the lane. that means you and leo can threaten her even at level 1, as long as you show some cojones and don't overrespect her ability to 1v2 at level 1, especially if you already have minion advantage and you could potentially all-in her at 2.
or, let's say lulu is not dumb, but the cait is not AA'ing the wave for whatever reason, or she is but she's letting you hit the wave for free, even though she shouldn't. so now you can still get the slowpush going!
most of this game is about capitalizing on what enemy does. you can have a plan with which you enter the game, which is good, but especially in our lower shitty elos, we never know what the enemy's plan is and it can be some complete yolo stuff. he can be drunk, or have 300 ms, or maybe he forgot how to lulu, or how to q. you never know. adjust to what you see!
ThankQ for this great video
This is just a standard strategy that's used in the majority of high level play. I suppose you excluded games that have an enemy Jungler, because this is not a bullet-proof strategy, it relies heavily on composition and your/enemy Jungler's pathing , yet you fail to express many of it's flaws in this video.
Yup like you cannot do this if you leash ad enemy can get a minion lead before you
This depends on supp matchup too a karma is going to beat an alistar for a wave push.
Aphelios doesn't need minion waves, he is a win wave by himself.
Yeah that starting strat is really champion specific. Imagine the champs were swapped
Isnt Zven the number one ranked ad in NA?
Great guide !
Easy kill.
Vietnam🇻🇳 ty for the lesson bro👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How do you counter the counter?
me : *trying to freeze my lane
my support : today is not the day sir
Good video, but does it mean that if the enemy jungler is shaco and starts your side of the map, you have to let you push and so you are pretty much doomed until your own jungler helps you?
Love this channel
Can this technique be used in top lane effectively?
I think so
Absolutely. Just be weary that doing this in top is more risky if the enemy jungle started their bot side. Effectively leaving you open to jungle ganks/pressure around the 3min mark
watch foggedftw2 he uses similar strategy but he shoves in the second wave under tower instead
So in the last clip with zven and bang, what can zven do if he can't crash the wave to tower. Let senna push?
is in your website any guide of how decide the best strategy for the game?
Thanks again, all the love.
Would Rell work? Even she is melee her passive reduces AR and MR which can quicken dmg taken. If she does this at lvl 2 she stun any close engages and flash away
Really goes to show how vital a support can be if the 2 aren't in sync on something so simple as killing minions. Crazy
Any tips to do this solo with my thresh/ blitz standing in god knows which bush
awesome. maybe ill try playing adc for a change
This strategy is only beneficial for the strong lvl 1-3 champions, even then the enemy jungler could do an early gank to counter this strategy.
Would this strategy work on a melee toplaner?
Would this work vs melee match ups. Like cait and morg vs jax and naut?
Your saying which ever team helps jungler leash buff loses lane? cause it gives enemy bot lane prio, right? I thought Ganks from your jungler can always help you get back lane priority?
What if ur playing garen top? U don't have range.. should u just freeze early game and get cs lead and punish the enemy champ if they come close?
What about jhin would he be a good option for this strategy?
how do you even execute this in lets say silver where your support barely knows how their champion works and keeps damaging the lane and overpushing
discuss your wave plan with him before, don't assume he's telepathic. also, adjust to his play. so, you see your support aa minion, means you don't aa one (except to last hit ofc). at the end of the day, the total amount of aa on minion wave on your side needs to be higher than that of enemy, but not that much, sotry to match how you attack the wave based on what both enemy lane and your support does.
also, it is quite possible your support knows more about waves than you (and quite possible he is also completely lost), so it's helpful to actually discuss stuff.
lastly, i'd rather have a support who aa's lane by default and who then stops if i ping back off, rather than those who do jack shit all lane, because it becomes a 1v3 at that point

Yeah do this strat against heimer. Gl
finally a video explaing the waves
I say around second drag or after depends where the game is at
I usually start taking camps when the waves aren't in a good spot mid/late game and/or there's nothing on the map during rotations to take ie drake/baron. No use waiting around for the wave to come closer when you can easily get 100G+ and then catch the wave after.
Junglers have busy schedules. If hes too busy to farm it within 3 or 4 minutes just have it!
5:14 "how safe this strategy was" yeah. because they haven't been ganked, this strat makes you vulnerable for ganks, they push without vision. easy target, free double kill
Not if the enemy jg starts botside and isnt playing a good lvl 2 gank champ
@@sup3rn0va87 Kindred is even visible on Topside. So whatever.
ty for the leona tip
i do love your content guys
what about the jg ganking em?
Im a silver2 player. Can I do this on top lane and in my elo?
Thats what i want to know aswell
"Bang"
Me: *season 7 worlds flashbacks*
At 6:53 Senna (hopefully) does not have her Q up
Ok but what if the enemy does auto the wave: then you don't have a minion advantage no? So how can you be sure to complete mission 1? Also, should you successfully complete this strategy, you are vulnerable to jungle gank.
Do a guide for Master Yi + Taric top funnel strat
Wouldn't tristana also be one of the best adcs for this strategy? She is good at pushing so it's hard for the enemy to stop her from controlling the wave and her E can be a good harass when used on tower so she doesn't need a ranged ability as much, her lv2 advantage is also very good, the only thing she lacks is CC, having only a slow.
watching the vid and reading this has made me want to go play tristana ty
@@itsfadey Pretty much what the video did to me, I tried playing trist as one of my first adcs cuz i suck at that role and watching this strategy just made me think of playing tristana, but then she wasn't mentioned in the best adcs, so maybe I am missing something and she won't be that great as some other adcs
What about Jinx, Xerath as Combo?
This tecnic could works in topline or midline?
