    Not related to the video, but an experience I believe is worth sharing
    When I first started the game in 2015, I played mostly tanks, and even playing only normals, is safe to assume I would hover around iron 1 ~ bronze 4 at the time, but as time passed, I started playing more carry-like champions and steadly increased my rank until I peaked platinum 3 when Samira was released.
    Since then, I've never even been able to even get to diamond promos (got Plat 1 99 LP twice tho), and started to get frustrated about it on the third year of stuckness.
    Thats when I started looking for help, and one of my helpers was this channel.
    Even though, I just couldn't really feel the improve, I knew more things, but couldn't put to practice in real games because of ?????
    Then, I ended the season plat 4, almost demoting actually and thought like "know what screw it, I'll play for fun this time, hold on the champions I know and try new stuff why not". For the record, I did my research on how to play these "new stuff"
    Amd thats how I went back to tanks for a month. And in a month I got promoted to diamond.
    Oh my, tanks are so broken, aren't they? Well...
    After a month I thought again "hey, an imortal killing machine is nice, but that guy last game looked so cool playing ADC, I wanna try it too"
    And then I peaked diamond 2 70 LP as an ADC.
    And why am I typing all this for? Is this just blabery about how good I am by hitting D2? No, I'm not Hector.
    Its just that I realized that because I got out of my comfort zone, I became much more aware of everything happening in the game, because it felt that even when it was the same game, same lanes, and same opponents, I was playing another game, so everything I was used to and usually did on the auto-pilot would be rendered useless, and so, I just didn't used any of it.
    As a result, it became... well... easy.
    Things I knew 3 months ago but couldn't find any way to apply were suddenly happening in my games, because I was counsciously "learning the game from zero" instead of trying to "uptade the info I already have".
    Right now I'm in platinum 1 20 LP playing mostly mages on mid (the only class i've never comitted to), and when I should be struggling to climb the ranks, I have a 75% win rate and winning around 20 LP per game.

    How does this change for mages? I am a Syndra main and don't know if I should attempt an all-in even with the level advantage, should I even worry about getting a level advantage over my opponent or just continue to play safe?

    • @CamronPR377
      @CamronPR377 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally yes, you should always be looking for advantages to get a lead in lane. Recognizing those advantages based on your champion is another matter.

      Ranged champs into melee usually get the prio on the first wave because they have easier push
      Try to focus abilities and autos on your opponent every time they are in range so they don't have the health to all in you level 3 and respect their level 3 on the bounce back
      Basically assume you're the person getting killed every time in this video

    I can make this strategy work in mid lane but not on top lane. Can someone tell me why? The problem is that I can't reach level 3 first and when I become level 2 then the opponent top laner has a huge minion wave that does not crash. HELP. I'm playing riven.

  • @erentriptide7535
    @erentriptide7535 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Will this apply to toplane? all the examples given in this video was on mid

    • @saturn8641
      @saturn8641 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      yeah! this does apply to top, especially in ranged matchups where your opponent will auto harrass you for no reason (in low elo) soaking aggro and speeding up the push towards you, doing nothing is a great way to get an early solo kill into annoying matchups like vayne, quinn, teemo etc.
      other examples are champions like aatrox, sion or darius who have their big AoE abilities, and if you can bait them into throwing these skills at the wave and overpushing, you can get that all-in timing and shut them down
      but consider jungle matchups too, red flag champions like lee sin, vi, graves, elise, nidalee, xin zhao, you want to be careful that you're not going to get 3-camp cheese ganked during that all in, try and place a ward near enemy gromp / raptors early on to spot the jungler to avoid that!
      and lastly, this pairs best when you're playing a champion who has a good level 3 and could maybe take ghost or ignite, try this with the darius, fiora, shen, warwick (barrier + ghost), tryndamere, wukong, camille, kled, ksante, renekton, zac, all amazing champions for this strategy!

    What a complicated way to say play under the tower.

  • @KungKokkos
    @KungKokkos ปีที่แล้ว

    The main problem with all of your videos is that you assume full knowledge of CDs, powerlevel at certain levels and items between you any your lane opponent, and that mechanical play is pretty on point. These quick tips are great if you have all the other knowledge before, but how do you know if you, the lvl 8 Vex with one item, will win the trade vs the lvl 7 yasuo? I, for one, don't know the exact cd of any of his spells besides maybe windwall, and that is absolutely crucial to pulling off most of these things.

    • @Arkhal_
      @Arkhal_ ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Power levels isn't something that can be taught, you need to play to get it, different playstyles can even create or nulify them, as for CDs, it should take a minute or less to open the wiki page of the champion X and check all his cooldowns

    I always push the wave and always my opponent reach lv 2 before me specially when he's defending his turret

  • @gsczo
    @gsczo ปีที่แล้ว

    I have always done that very intuitively. Isn't this a very understood concept? Maybe a lot of people naturally plays like that without realizing but essentially if you're a melee or someone who won't contest early lane phase you literally let the enemy push and then safe farm as much as possible, not only you allow your jungler to do something but you avoid being ganked early on, there's also the fact that the opponent MUST have some sort of range pressure or else they'll have a super awkward time farming the minion near my turret, killing the opponent is just a bonus. Also, a lot of assassins are DESIGNED to function that way hence his W and E, or Qiyana's passive, Zed, etc, champions who are not designed to do that will just stay with a bad cs and be forced to go to base and the enemy will keep snowballing cs lead until you are capable of doing something with the help of other teamamates. Now, sure a Fizz can jump onto you and kill you but the opponent can't just push freely otherwise it's just gg, usually they have to chunk Fizz's hp really hard and if the Fizz player is really cautius and safe, you have to be aware of that as well and stay further away, the outcome will eventually make Fizz get some free farm and eventually the wave is gonna bounce back to you and the roles are reversed, with that in mind the Fizz now can gank someone or get some control around but if he stays in lane it's your turn to do the same thing, I'd say it's still good for Fizz because he's up in levels which is more dangerous if your teammates are overextending somewhere because that's an easy free roam for Fizz which is about lv4/5 at that point, I mean, I go on and on forever with this but ultimately feels like common sense, the cheater recall however is a pre-plan with a very specific execution depending on the match up that forces you to be aware of the wave timings, it's a free early advantage that you can potentially get unlike the wave control. A lot of people keep brawling and constantly shoving back and forth while trading for no reason which is when you spot unexperienced players.

    in similar balanced skill teams you are already at 50% wr. most of this stuff will help you become a better player? sure you understand it better. if you have a garbage team nothing of this matters, only influences your stats at the defeat screen. this game is 30% skill, 70% matchmaking

    “As you can see it works against gold and plat players” but they’re the only 2 people in the game (look map). Realistically in plat Ahri holds charm until you dash in and you get ganked and your wave gets frozen by enemy tower. I get it’s a good start most of the time but you can’t just go in like that and expect to win off it
