Brilliant . this is so useful for people who want to understand valve better . Especially this is perfect for juniors and in some cases seniors alike !!!
Thakyou for the course about gate valve. Please if you can simulate the grease with valves when are diffictive such as passing ,stuck, loosing and leaking. Thank you very much
Thanks for sharing this video, Gate valves are designed to be fully open or closed, and are not recommended to regulate the flow of liquid. When the valve is fully open, gate valves are full bore, meaning there is nothing to obstruct the flow because the gate and pipeline diameter have the same opening.
We have received a tested gate valves in closed position. At site we attempted to test for leakage. Filled water via inspection hole then closed it after filling. Afterwards leakage from one side is observed. What is the reason/explanation for this.
we are factory to produce valve include gate valve, To your issue, it seems like the seal system is not good, and whether you confirm that the valve is closed completely or not ? Our valves have to do pressure test and seal test before delivery.
@@trustme3886 You'd need them actuated; either electrically or pneumatically, hydraulically would also be possible but is the least option I'd go for. For that the gate valve must be equipped with something called a top-flange (ISO5210) on wich you mount an actuator
@Trust Me Hydraulic actuation is one of the best ways of automating a gate valve. The handwheel and bonnet is replaced with a linear actuator that consists of a piston and cylinder. You apply hydraulic pressure to actuate. You can have a spring return to make a self closing / opening valve. Much better than electric actuation or pnneumatic, but it does depend on the application. My company specializes in gate valve actuation and control, let me know if you want more information.

I know nothing about valves, and I could follow this really easily. Thank you for the informative video!
One of the best explanations available online..thank you savree team..looking forward for more detailed explanations of different valve's

Great video, it's helping me get through my architectural engineering classes!
depiction looks very interesting and makes the concept understandable very utterly
Love from India... helped me prepare for my momentum transfer exams
Nicely explained working of gate valve with the help of animation, thanks
Thanks a lot for the helpful explanation!
Simple animation with details.
This was masterfully explained.
Thanks very much,am a teacher, this will help me explain how the gate valve works
really easy to watch and very clear ! Keep up the great work
Thanks, will do!
Very nice and detailed explanation of gate valve operation.
This video hepled me much for doing my practical exams👍🏾😁
Best of luck!
Thank you sir
Love from India
High quality content, congratulation!
Thank you very much
good job!
a very informative video clip. thanks a lot!
You are welcome!
Thanks!
For the rising stem. When it’s fully closed is the stem flush with the handle or does some thread stick out?
Beautiful
I hope you will show us how the purifier works.
Great explanations about gate valves.. Appreciated..
Thanks for this my dishwasher has been breaking this is very helpful.
Very nice 👍

You are the best🇵🇰
u r the worst
Does the type of gate in the video flexible or solid? thank you for the explanation
it's very amazing and informative video, is it from 3d drawing? what the software to draw like that?
Can you make an another video for testing gate valve.
Thanks
How to find the maximum lift distance of the gate?

Wow. Now I know. Its just fully opened or fully closed. No in between! No counting 1 turn or 2 turns hehehe

Is there a drill that you can use to open and closed gate?
@@savree-3d instead of using your hands for the hand wheel gate? We have over 14 gates to open for 1 tank
