My buddy Pete was a Seabee (C.B.) in the Navy, and worked overseas. He told me he went through sere, and didn't poop for days while hiding. An instructor smelled a silent but deadly fart he couldn't help but pass, and they caught him. It was a great and funny story, even if it may have been embellished somewhat to highlight the hilarity of being beat up over a fart. The instructor told him to, in a real sitch, dig a hole and poop at night or poop in water, because you can't move as fast if you're all backed up... Thank you for your service and your friendship, Pete. Peace....

Speaking of legality, same goes for this type of thing as your CCW. Make sure you belong to something like US Law Shield or one of the others. Those legal firms specialize in justified shootings, self defense and they know what to file and when to file it by to protect you from both criminal cases and civil lawsuits which ruin your life. They cost around $100.00 bucks a year. just purchase one less Gucci Camo item a year and you're covered.

The term "hacker" had more stigma before people realized how publishing exploits keeps companies honest and motivated them to patch closed software that's full of holes. Also, people are now more aware of their data, in general, because they now understand how it's collected, stored and it's use caeses.

You mentioned in another very recent video, the first that I had ever seen a couple of days ago, that you don't know why your videos are suddenly being recommended. Allow me to speculate. Suppose a tech company or two, in cooperation with one or more federal agencies, wished to identify people disposed to viewing this kind of content under some theory or another. Supposed that said federal agencies wished to introduce some of these people to new "friends" who may work for said agencies. These friends might then attempt to lead these targets to join certain groups and progressively do things to which they might not otherwise be disposed, but, hey, peer pressure. After all, the Jan 6 "insurrection" story is falling apart and losing effectiveness. Fresh meat needed?

Part of it is you got a lot of people in certain professions that this information is beneficial for. Frankly, most courses I personally seen or been too are terribly written. Usually by some bureaucrat know-it-all with no field experience. So, you got that.
Additionally, most information is not illegal anyway in the USA. Unless we talking about publishing explicitly classified data. So, it is out there and any John or Jane Doe can learn. It was what used to make our country fucking great.
Nowadays, we got a bunch running around with erections for being dictators. Most of those are the ones doing the "other guy wants to put y'all back in chains" etc; type shit. We all know that is, shouldn't even have to be pointed out...*Donkey* mascot one

      I see three possibilities:
      1. Algorithms can have unforeseen behavior and consequences.
      2. There is someone at youtube that is sympathetic to the people that would consume this information.
      3. The powers that be want to collect information on who thinks in a way that would cause them to consume this information.
If it is #3 our information is already captured unless you've been taking extraordinary steps to conceal your online presence. Be skeptical of anyone with these proclivities that wants to be your friend and dont do anything stupid.

SERE is a good concept but for us civilians you're correct, unless you live is South America or Mexico where the past time is hostage and ransom. I have found in my travels that some countries don't allow private persons to carry handcuff keys, England is one such country. I'm thinking at point some the States here will also adopt such laws.
For myself I live in a very restrictive State almost as bad as New York or Massachusetts.
I'm choosing to leave my home state very soon for one that is less restrictive. I'm doing everything on the list except changing my ID. I don't see a reason for that yet.

Go ahead and add 'butterfly' hand positioning to your 8 ways to apply handcuffs. I was a prison guard for 10 years. I never cuffed anyone any other way than double locked, behind back, hands butterflied apart, unless they could produce medical documentation to contrary before removing them from their cell... THEN you add in proper escort techniques to prisoner movement... also, it's standard practice to keep your cuffs loaded in the pouch in such a way as to make both the single bar and key holes locate in the most secure locations so you don't have to remember it in the heat of the moment.

Just gonna say, maybe it’s just me but I know if I were restraining someone I make it a point to not make it easy to escape. Key facing palms is just not doing the job properly. I’d be pissed if someone escaped and I was the one who put the cuffs on em. It’s a competition, whether trying to escape or restraining someone there is skill involved either way and whether I’m the escapee or the captor I play to win

On the other hand, experts on criminals have warned that you should NEVER let yourself be taken to a second location, because once you are there your chances of getting out alive are near zero. It may be preferable to die while trying to escape or fighting back than to be captured.

allowing yourself to be captured because you think you're going to escape later like some kind of action movie is just asking to die. genuinely fucking moronic and i can't believe people believe it's going to work out like that. once they have you in cuffed you are fucked. you should fight to the death before you allow them to capture you.

If they are cops or feds, that's a tough choice because...well, they'll shoot you, and in the extremely unlikely case that they don't, you're going to jail for a long time for resisting arrest, illegal or not.

i know im not a proffesional, but from the zip tieers perspective, if you have a bunch of them, why dont you just tie the guys hands back to back and then tie his opposing fingers to each other, that way, he has effectively no movement in his fingers, especially not in the thumbs. you could go a stelp further, if he has a belt, tie the wrist ties to the belt, that restricts movement even further.

I have only listened to half the episode but no mention yet of Kidnap and Ransom insurance (K&R). In the early 2000s I traveled and worked in South America and Asia in countries that had active kidnapping groups. It cost me 2000 dollars per year for a million dollar K and R policy. That policy does not pay for the ransom payment because you cannot insur for an that. Something about insurance payment for an illegal activity is prohibited. The policy only covers the cost of a negotiator (which could take a year or more) and a support group to come up with a price to release me. If the K and R company gets information that a rescue is possible they would coordinate with local police or military (if trustworthy) or with a private contractor to try an extraction. But that would be very rare. There were also stipulations with the insurance policy. It was invalid if I traveled outside of a major city by road. Also I had to have the personal assets for the ransom money. The insurance company would determine my net worth at the time and base the maximum ransom payment on that. The insurance company would front the ransom payment and I would have to pay them back upon release. Watch the movie Proof of Life for a dramatic version. My point is that the military might not come to get a private citizen but there are options to facilitate your rescue or release if you are not in the military or government.

Breaking so called "laws" is a basic human right, its called "freedom". People have no obligation to live by the fictional beliefs of others. People have just as much right to escape from being kidnapped by cops, as they do escaping all other terrorists, like ISIS, or any random kidnappers. you have the right to protect your self from any and all attacks, by any means, no exception. My thought about any large scale force that may be new to the general population with the intent to subdue the population is that they will have completely new control technology such as energy/frequency based weapons or for crowd control, area denial. They’ll have to have some way or technique to restrict vehicular movement and get people to volunteer to come to locations where there’s food. Once 85% of the population complies easily it’s not too difficult to come after the population that requires focused effort to apprehend. Cop was livid, I told him I was just a little uncomfortable, and I wasn't trying to pull anything. Then I told him my aikido sensei already had me break handcuff chains so at least I didn't do that 🤣🤣🤣 no charges, it was straight BS. I was a good at not getting caught kid.

....Achem, excuse me there. On the bobby pins, large, medium or small could have been used by brunet, blond, or even red heads. The kind our nanas used to prop their B52 beehive hairdos. It doesn't matter if they're coated with hairspray or dip pity do. And it doesn't matter if the small plastic ends were bitten off by our nanas or you. You know, they're kind of cool to bite off, like as kids scrapping off scabs just to look at the amazing way our bodies natural ability to protect our wounds to heal. Sometimes you will find them in parking lots at Walgreens. Gotta' be careful with those tho, it's better to give them a wipe with your Charlie One-Niner bandana, some guys prefer to iron, heck some even starch those relics, but yea, wipe them off at least once before extracting the bubble ends with your pie-hole...Ok, we're going to take five, we hope your learning something, we know the average mans attention span is 2.8 seconds (comment below if I'm off by what tenths, for sure) and make sure to stay tuned for part 45 as we go into the blade of grass method...We're doing our best to keep the information to sixty minutes, an hour or so, digital or analog...Get it?

But a 55 minute video on this topic...... ouch.

Depending on which state you live in, some states have laws that allow a person to legally resist & remove themselves from an “unlawful” arrest.
THE FOLLOWING BELOW⬇️ IS PASTED FROM A WEBSITE THAT DISCUSSES THE LEGALITY’S OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED.⬆️
And as is always advised in all situations , especially ones involving the legality & validity of hearsay “laws” or supposed individual “constitutional rights” where even a modicum of doubt exists, pertaining to the geo-legality’s of, and of its validity, Always ascertain for yourself, any available FACTS relating to the subject at hand:
“The United States Constitution provides that a citizen may resist an unlawful arrest. It is important to be aware, however, that the laws regarding unlawful arrests and resisting arrest depend upon the state in which the incident occurs.
Traditionally, the general rule was that the offense of resisting arrest included an assumption that the arrest was a legal arrest and, therefore, it was not a crime to resist an unlawful arrest. Therefore, individuals could resist arrests which were made without the proper authority to do so, which included arrests made under invalid statutes or arrests made without warrants or probable cause.
Many states, however, have passed statutes which limit the ability of individuals to resist arrest, even if it is an unlawful arrest. Because of this, while it may be legal to resist an unlawful arrest, the rules of the jurisdiction will dictate exactly what is permitted with regard to resisting the arrest.
Resisting arrest occurs when an individual interferes with an attempt by law enforcement to perform a lawful arrest. In some states, it is referred to as obstruction.
Resisting arrest is typically defined as an individual using any amount of physical force to prevent a law enforcement from arresting, handcuffing, and/or taking the individual to jail. Even a small amount of force may be enough to constitute resisting arrest.”

I take offense to the idea of being unable to outgun the government. With 50 cals just laying around everywhere I could take down a helicopter. And given how densely populated this area is I doubt they would dare use anything bigger than that.

40 minutes of blather before you get to the meat and the first piece of advice is "use a key"? Really? Cuffs are easy to unlock with two free hands, unfettered mobility and clear vision. Some people just love the sound of their own voice. Why don't you show us your technique at least with your hands cuffed behind your back? WTF is anybody supposed to do with this?
