Weird hypothetical fantasy: take all current NHL players, turn back their clock so all of them are 18 yr old draft eligible. With all our hind sight what would the top 31 prospect rankings look like.

Heatley started to decline once he went from San Jose to Minnesota. This is there his career started to collapse... Before that, he had 2 back-to-back 100+ points season with Ottawa after his initial trade.

It was no mystery why Heatley suffered diminishing returns over the years. He is famously a lush. Nothing “miraculous” about it. Both him and Devin Setaguchi were shipped off from SJ because of their drinking.
How are you gonna start off at 2002 when my favorite goalie of all-time (Evgeni Nabokov) was the calder winner in 2001 :/ I was hoping you were gonna mention him
This is why they need to let young goalies play....Mason and Raycroft were so damn good for a bit there. Enough with making them play till their early/mid 20's in the AHL. Matt Murray and Jordan Binnington have made the case.
Before the season started, many analysts assumed Drouin would walk in and play with Stamkos, and MacKinnon was expected to get pushed down the Avs lineup

By the end of his career Dany Heatley couldn't even play in Germany. Also, it wasn't a chain of events that ended his career. One day he woke up and he sucked. That isn't a chain. It is only one single event.
Not bad video Rob though two critiques I may have for you. 1) Try to slow down your speaking a bit. You talk very, very, fast and it can be tough to follow. I like your knowledge and the topic but it's tough to follow at the rapid pace you say it all in. (BTW, I'm a fellow Edmontonian and huge Oilers fan!) 2) Instead of just mentioning who won, I would've liked a little more info on each Calder race such as who was expected to win those earlier trophies as well as what may have factored into them not winning. For example, 2011 or 2012 winners of Skinner and Landekog (rightfully deserved the wins), however Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins were pretty substantial race candidates who both missed large portions of the season due to injury which took them out of the running. Nugent-Hopkins for instance played only 62 games vs Landeskog's 82 games but tied him with 52 points a piece leading all rookies in scoring that year. Landeskog took the edge though due to his physical play and slightly higher defensive acumen at the time. All in all, I'm saying in this point that a little bit of background makes the story more interesting than just brushing up on a couple stats and rushing to the next winner. If the video would be too long with both those points, maybe try doing 10 years instead of 20 years. All in all though very good video and I support you! Good luck!
Hey man I appreciate the detailed feedback. Thanks for putting in thought. You are correct on my pacing, and it something I am trying to improve upon every video, but I tend to talk fast in general, so it is a learning curve. And yeah that would be an interesting take, if I dove that deep it would be a 30+ minute video, but I like the feedback, because perhaps o segment my videos a bit more to focus on specific interesting storylines!
